The guitar is pretty good, and incredible if you consider its price. It's only downside in my opinion are the pickups, not bad but can do better, I may upgrade them at some point. Other than that the playability is out of this world, tuning stability is great and I still love it's polyvalence so, great pick for the price !

hey Felix, great playing. Im planning on buying that guitar, but I'm more into blue body :). Is this solo written or improvised?
Hey, and thank you very much ! A few parts - mostly the first few bars and the first modulation transition - are not written but definitely ideas I kept and developed a bit. A few other ideas as well in the "chorus". The rest is improvised 🙂 glad you liked it, and I definitely recommend that incredible value for money of a guitar!

Hey ! My thoughts are that, for a guitar costing less than 600 euros, it's incredibly well build, has the most comfortable neck I've played, and is a very versatile instrument. The tuning is also crazy stable even using the tremolo. All in all it has the specs and build quality of a much higher end guitar and I love it 🙂

Very nice playing! Really enjoyed it. I'd like to ask what do you think about the guitar itself. I have read very nice reviews, but I also read the high E string slips off the neck, does it happen to yours?

I love that guitar, very complementary with my strat. It actually plays better, unbelievably smooth neck and fret work, and the stock pickups are pretty good. I did need to take it to a luthier for a setup which is normal, and I adjusted the tremolo springs for my taste, but other than that no issue like the one you mentioned, for the price it's quite an amazing instrument.

And how does the bridge pickup sound? Why do you only play with the neck pickup?
Because that's the tone I wanted for this particular video.
The bridge pickup is the same, so same tone quality. I use it a lot for more fusion tones, I find it sounds best with the tone knob rolled back a little.

These are indeed, not planning on swapping them anytime soon as they do the job quite well, but maybe later 🙂

I may change the pickups at some point, mostly because the split coil tones are not that good (which is to be expected). But it would be for later down the road, I'm quite thrilled with how it is right now and the specs are mostly amazing for the price.

Thanks a lot ! Nah they're quite small to be honest, which I like since I already have a strat with jumbo frets. But if you don't maybe that model is not for you, it really feels small while playing 🙂

Great playing! I am really interested in buying one of these. Would you say you are also able to achieve most traditional tele tones with this too? Like on the split coils?
Thank you! Honestly, no. The single coil tone is quite far from what you'd get with actual single coils. To me it's really more hard rock / fusion oriented guitar 🙂

I wouldn't even say you can get a proper Tele tone with this model , it's really called T7 just because of the shape imo. If you want strat-like tones, better going towards an S7 or an S7 FM

super tasteful playing. i heard of fret height and bone nut cut issues in qc. any problems with that or other nitpicky stuff? really having to choose between a t7 or an ibanez az2402 prestige is unfair. one is more cost effective, but you run into the qc roulette with indo manufacturing.
Thank you so much ! Honestly, no issue on mine whatsoever, in fact I liked a lot the setup it had when I received it. I did sent it to a professional for a full setup later on and we changed the jack input which was a tad crappy, but that's about it (and the usual setup steps of course). The rest is fully original, and frankly that guitar could easily cost double of its price. I think I may swap the pickups at some point, but the original ones are good enough as well, and for 500e and maybe a few extra for electronics, it's an amazing deal.

@@felixmarin939 came in better condition than described from Hollywood, CA. Probably was not played, used in one shoot, and sold. Trem is blocked and no bar was included, so I can’t pass judgment on it’s effect on tuning stability, otherwise perfect in every way. Not as heavy as I’d thought it’d be. Perfectly setup.

The tuning stability is much better even than my EJ strat, it's truly great.
The finish in general is one you could find on models 3 times the price.
The only thing is that you may want to change a few cheap parts, typically the jack input for instance. The pickups are good too but I may upgrade then later. Over all it's an incredible guitar for the price, and a great platform for future improvements as well. I don't think you can get something of that quality for that price anywhere else, not new at least 🙂

Is the tremolo any good
It is indeed, both very stable (way more than on my strat) and sensitive. I love it. It may need a little setup initially though

@@wlliamson53 absolutely, yes. It's some kind of a pop-in system: you just put the arm in without needing to screw it, and then there is a little screw on the side to prevent it from moving

@@wlliamson53 to be honest it doesn't have much of a telecaster apart from the shape, it's more fusion / hard rock oriented tone wise
