When I had my CRF250L I remember the suspension was actually the worst part of the motorcycle, especially that horrible rear shock, it seems that Honda didn't learn. I suggest changing the front spring to a progressive one. On my 2013 CRF, only the right fork had a spring, the left fork is actually the damper, maybe on these newer versions they changed things up putting two springs instead of one, But I remember I used the brand HYPERPRO for my suspension upgrade, they do excellent stuff.

Yes the suspension is the thing that lets this bike down, however its also good news that there are plenty of options to fix this dependant on skill, rider weight and budget. Thanks for your comments Mike

New to the channel, great vid thanks. Couple of questions, have you changed the side stand given the increase in height and also do you have a vid of all the mods you have installed?

Hi Thanks for the comments. No the side stand didn't need to be adjusted, it was leant over too far with the stock suspension. its now much better. I haven't done a video of all the mods yet, as I was waiting to complete the suspension. This will be my next video for next weekend. Cheers Mike

You can install the 250l stock kickstand, it's longer than the 300L, that's what I did.

@@mikelyon01 On the road it could be annoying that the motorcycle leans too much with a slightly short side stand but on off-road where the ground could be uneven you can benefit from a short one.
