- Victor Fries is turned into a villain by a man known as Ferris Boyle, after he tried to shutdown Victor's experiment. Boyle murders Victor's Wife, and turns him into Mr. Freeze. his wife now lost forever, Mr. Freeze turns to revenge...
The story of Mr freeze is definitely one of the saddest and best
And batman just ruined it
Agreed
@@abdulhasif1455How? Batman literally helps Mr. Freeze anyway he can to help save Nora and even takes over the project with his company to cure her
Ya
Villa are not born but made to be
You forgot the part Mr freeze put down his gun then the guy kicked him
Villa are not born but made to be
He probably didn't have enough time as UA-cam shorts are limited to 60 seconds.

Dude deserved a happier end. Even Terry hadn't given up on him, even though Bruce did.
Stay where you are

Freeze: Trust me , you're the only one who cares😢
How come Bruce gave up on Freeze but not Harley, despite Freeze needing the help more?...
@@Purified_Water_Enjoyerexcept Bruce didn’t give up on him
He almost died trying to save Victor before he dropped to his “death”
That’s why in Batman Beyond freeze is just a head with cybernetics
@@Purified_Water_EnjoyerFreeze wasnt exactly throwing it back for bats so probably another bump-up for Harley
Young Bruce rubbed off on Terry. The original Spirit of Batman.
I just want to see a world where Bruce funds Mr. Freeze's reaearch, and Freeze becomes a part of the Bat-Family. Imagine batman using gadgets built by Freeze, Freeze helping on assignments, Nora helping Alfred out with the housework (because Alfred does so much for the entire Bat family), etc. Not only does it take a criminal off the streets, but it gives Batman some much needed help in the never ending battle against crime.
Sounds like he'd be a Lin Kuei at that point. Get some Sub-Zero action
@@Shadowheart181 lmao yeah
I mean some of this did happen but not all together like in this iteration Bruce did fund Nora’s treatment and in the Arkham verse freeze did help Batman create the freeze grenade I’m pretty sure
It would make an awesome what-if
@sandanpaddack8789 Kind of on the freeze grenade, Mr Freeze gifted it to him and Batman modified it over the years to be more versatile
“Pray you hear me some how. A place where a warm hands wait for mine”. I felt that
I’m so sorry 😢
@@alastor6673 you have nothing to be sorry for :>
Victor just wanted his wife back. Not all villains are evil. They're just hurt.
*Some are just hurt.
The Joker, Darkseid, Grand Regent Thragg from Invincible, Red Skull, Thanos, Frieza- there are plenty of villains who are pure and true evil.
@grubb2103 your reading comprehension is garbage.
@@grubb2103 Thanos was NOT pure evil.
@@The_Indo_Aryan Comics Thanos was.
@@grubb2103 That's not cannon.
Bet you didn't know that The Joker had a twin brother named Ferris Boyle.
I know. I just realized that when I heard his voice. I watched this show when I was a teenager. And I'm just now hearing it.
@kingbradley9066he's not the one true boyle

@@Soundwave_gunhahahahahahha nice one!! :D

Victor Fries last words.
Crazy thing is.
Batman can help him easy
He did.
He usually does doesn't he? Doesn't freeze have like, access to a lab in Arkham where his wife is kept so he can try to find a cure? Usually he's busted out by other villains
Batman helps him in many different versions.
In the comics, he has wayne tech studying Nora to find a cure(Lex managed to beat Bruce on this and gave the cure to freeze)
In the animated series, Batman after the freeze movie actually managed to cure Nora and after that Freeze went insane because his body startes to break down.
In the arkham universe, there are mentions that Bruce wants to help Freeze bur Freeze is too paranoid to accept help from anyone with his work on Nora’s cure
@@Gojira.destroyingtokyoNot to mention in this iteration Wayne Enterprises actually cures Nora but after Freezes body deteriorated he was too nervous she wouldn’t love him and in Batman Beyond he goes and visits her grave
@@Gojira.destroyingtokyo than theres the harley quiin version . . .
I really hate what the harley quinn show did to Nora
That first season was so good, dude. Idk if there was a writer or director change but it went downhill IMMEDIATELY.
@@arinleoczko1250 first season was alright, not my type of humor but some of the jokes landed for me. Everything after...
She's running from her pain by sleeping around. They'll probably address it in the future
@@darylchua2168. My husband died to save my life. Better grab anything with a stick to fill the void. That'll make me feel better!
@oiwithyou yeah that's how trauma works
Freeze is a good guy, he just has crappy circumstances where the only way to help his wife is through illegitimate means…I honestly think if he reached out to Batman or Bruce, he would help Freeze.
Bruce paid to have Nora moved to his cell at Arkham and funds his research to help her
Mr Freeze actions were not only for himself but for his wife . He did everything to save her , the saddest story of DC
That's what makes it beautiful. I wish they would make a movie about Freeze as the villain and batman understanding where he is coming from.
Doing the characters and story justice with no woke shit or agenda.
But I guess these hack writers don't know what makes a story great
"Victor Fries" 💀
No one noticed that on subtitle😂
Bro that's his real name
I was looking for this comment 😂
That’s how it’s spelled
MrFreeze is so sad like he just wants to be with his wife and some rich dude is like nah and beats him up
So what you're saying is freeze should be allowed to commit crime and kill people?
"Revenge is a dish BEST served cold"
My favorite line from him
i hate how one of the times nora makes it out, freeze dies and nora cheats on him
i mean you cant cheat if your a widow, but she does become an huge slut
Clayface had a screwed up origin too, he wasnt evil or even really mean, he was just a primadonna
Joker gassed him and turned him into a monster

Freeze was the only Batman villain I felt bad for because you can tell he wanted to be a good person and why he helps Batman from time to time
Poor Dr. Freeze he deserved better
Mr freeze honestly wasn't even that much of a villain he just wanted to save his wife
I always love mr.freeze his story in the animated series made me so sad as a kid i use to always root for him to win because he deserves to
Mr freeze. One of the more respectable villain of batman, poor guy was broken.
And then there's a version where nora did something disgusting but people defend it saying she did it just to forget the pain (bruh)
Freeze deserved better.
I love how Batman is like "Dude, stop doing this crap. Here's a bazillion dollars to get your wife treated"
Legally they can’t force him to open it since it would but a human life in danger, in fact opening knowing that the person inside could die could even be murder
at the ending of the episode with him in the prison almost made me cry
That’s Mark Hamill voicing the evil corporate CEO before he was chosen to voice Joker.
villains not born, they are made 😔
It’s funny that people are correcting the subtitles for saying victor fries when fries is his actual last name
Mr freeze is the only batman rouge who is 100% redeemable
Loved this version of the character, this version and the arkham version. His heart was the only thing that wasn't cold about him
I'm pretty sure a decent lawyer could get Boyle off with no problems. Freeze was trespassing, and he pulled a gun on him. Legally, Freeze was completely in the wrong, there's no reason for Boyle to believe his hysterical ravings.
Some times the coldest of people can have the warmest of hearts
adding one person in mr. freeze backstory change his whole character from a captain cold rip-off to a tragic villain. one of the 4 people that came from the animated show that DC added to the comics, because those where good characters
Gotta love when thier name foreshadows thier origin story
I grew up with the Matsuda adaptation, it's amazing how much they changed his character in that series... From a tragic/sympathetic villain who only wanted to help his wife to a petty thief turned ruthless killer.
Ah yes my favorite villain victor fries
Not just the saddest origin but also ending. The way he goes out in Batman Beyond is nothing short of tragic.
Dude got shit on at every turn, including by Nora.
Ah Yes. My old pal Victor Fries
Batman could've helped Freeze save his wife and gained eternal gratitude and an ally, but condemned her to death and earned an enemy.
I feel like batman should imprisoning so many billionaires
The voice of Michael Ansara. Also played Kang in Star Trek.
This and the Batman Beyond episode kill me "believe me, your the only one who cares" was heartbreaking.
This is the best iteration of Mr. Freeze. Don't like him when he's just a mobster.
Thanks to this show freeze is now one of the best villains of Batman ever
She didnt find a warm place, but every guy in Gotham she met did......
Mister freezes probably my favourite villain just because his motive is very understandable most of of would go great lengths to protect those who we love so he a villain that a lot of us can put are self in his shoes and I think that makes a great villain
″NORAAAA″ that voice crack got me on the floor😭
Villains are heroes with a broken heart
Mr freeze deserved to take revenge and it wasent his fault so i apologise to him by losing his wife hope you have good lifr mr freeeze
Ngl it was sad 😢
His story gets even sadder in Batman Beyond 😢
It feels like all the Batman Villains are not there to do evil for the sake of it but rather because of a broken backstory, depending on the universe they originally came from. Some of the backstories don’t stay as consistent as Mr. Freeze or The Joker
I have this episode on DvD. The coldest line out of Mr Freeze is when a cop says; 'Freeze!' he replies 'That's MR Freeze to you!' and exits the area.
Mr freeze isn't a villian he's just a guy trying to revive his wife
Man just wanted to save his wife so thet they could live together. He definitely had the saddest story out of all the villians
This man truly loved his wife. When he lost his woman, he lost his mind.
Surely you remember your old colleague, “Victor-Fries!”
That chicken noodle soup came in clutch
Fries's line just before being hit with soup; 'The circuitry which powers my suit also triples my strength!'
Dr Fries was a tragic character pushed to exfreme limits, and beyond. He was relatable in his earlier days. He lost that over time, but Batman Beyond redeemed that part of him.
Mr Freeze: surely you remember your old colleague, Victor freeze
The subtitles:Victor Fries
I loved what Batman: The Animated Series did when they retconned Mr. Freeze’s backstory. He made him the most sympathetic villain in Batman’s rogues gallery.
"this is my equipment mine!" Is the most childish sentence if ever heard in s batman show
Mr Freeze is in my top 5 favorite "Batman Villains".
I used to not understand villain back stories then but now...I understand
Ah yes, Victor fries my old... Delicious nemesis
Fries is how his real name's spelled, despite being pronounced Freeze, whereas when it's spelled Freeze it's referring to his villain name.
Mr. Freeze The Saddest Story In the entire batman storyline...
Mr freeze is one of the few villains Batman genuinely respects
I lowkey started hating batman because of these things. How he didnt let him take his vengence out if that were me the whole world would pay not just them.
There's a certain quote that I always remember when looking at stuff related to Mr. Freeze
He was a reasonable man forced to make unreasonable choices. Anyone would fight back under his circumstance
He was never evil, he just wanted his best friend
"victor fries" lmao the ai is tweaking
That's how it's supposed to be spelled. His real name is Victor Fries, and his super villain name is Mister Freeze.
One thing about vileness and super heroes is the heroes can have revenge but the villains can not have a revenge even their are right
One of the few villains that I actually feel sad for 😊
ah my favorite batman villain, mr fries
I'm going to go crazy like thr my Joker if I don't find the background music.
Did ytu find it?
Batman has a knack for making enemies .
The heck you mean Mr. Fries? He is frozen not fried
Victor Fries is how his real name is spelled, and his super villain name is spelled Mister Freeze.
The loss of two loaves birds is pretty sad and heartbroken 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.
Ah yes "Victor Fries"
God fucking dammit, I made the exact same joke without seeing this 😂
In other words. Corporate greed is the ultimate villian.
Are there even more sad stories? Than this one, even though it is a tearjerker.
He's always been my favorite villain.
Him and Clayface have the saddest origins
I agree with a lot of commenters here, there really should be a version of victor who fully rehabilitates and joins the hero's side if not directly joining into the bat family itself. He needs the least writing tweaks to work as a hero i think. Just give him his wife, a little time and a few talk no jutsu by batman/bat family members about redefining oneself and boom, good guy victor. Maybe he just isn't durable enough to do field work cuz of low temp requirement issues but he could be like a behind the scenes scientist in the coldest depths of the bat cave or something. Victor deserves the happiest of endings
"Believe me. You're the only one who cares." - Victor's last words said to Terry McGinnis in Batman Beyond.
The Harley Quinn Cartoon did right by freeze when he was able to sacrifice himself for Nora. Mr. Freeze will always be on the of the most complex and well written villains in DC.
What ever creates a villian will be always far worse as the villian themselves
If only a live action film could be made
And remember Batman smashed a glass of chicken soup on this man's head
Okay and?
So my man is named Boyle and my other man is named Freeze........how did i never catch that
Batman beat him with soup. Legendary.
Good guys are the only ones that end like this
All Victor wanted was to save his wife but Ferris Boyle made that impossible
Victor Fries
Gotham’s nicest villain.
FYI... Batman breaks the chicken soup that Alfred made him on Frieze's head
Freezes voice acting is so funny
IS that Mark Hamill as Ferris Boyle?
That's right!
You know it's a too damned origin when it make batman say my god
