    nice, next upgrade for me is suspension...rsr springs have been sitting in my garage for like 3 months lol. Still on the fence about installing them or grabbing a set of BC coils.

      @EddieGS350  10 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for watching. Ahhh I was on the fence too for a while. I deff plan on upgrading to coils in the future. I wasn’t too sure what I wanted in terms of comfort or if I was okay with losing AVS. Now I know I want the most comfortable setup and I am okay with losing AVS. Will be doing Tein Flex Z and adding edfc down the road. Pretty much what I’m trying to say is I don’t regret the springs cause now I know what I want without dropping $1k+ and not being happy.

      @@EddieGS350 yeah for sure, your videos definitely popped up on my explore page a few times, so the algorithm is working haha. i'm resigned to the fact that lowering the car with anything will degrade comfort, but i heard bc coils with swift spring upgrade gets pretty close to stock suspension feel/comfort.

    For some reason I always get cars that sit higher than they should stock. I love the look of a tastefully lowered car, but I've had mixed results on how they ride and we have snow to deal with on the east coast

    • @EddieGS350
      @EddieGS350  5 місяців тому

      Ahh do you have AWD? I know the AWDs sit higher than the RWDs. I deff wouldn't get springs on AWD. Every review I have seen for springs on AWD have not been good in terms of ride quality. You could prob do coils and raise it a bit in the winter.

    • @gregblau8082
      @gregblau8082 5 місяців тому

      I do have awd. The coils on my Honda aren't bad but it didn't have the best ride to begin with. I work on BMW's and we constantly see cars that ride like crap even with high dollar setups. If I have to replace bad parts I'd definitely look at upgrading though

    • @EddieGS350
      @EddieGS350  3 місяці тому

      Yoo Kris,
      They are still running good. I was recently checking my brakes and the springs aren't leaking at all. I have a theory that if you are super careful on not hitting potholes and speedbumps at high speeds they will last a long time. Got an upcoming vid talking about that! They still feel like they did when I first lowered it.
      The only thing is bigger bumps do feel cringe. Smaller bumps are handled very well. If you got some really bad roads near you or lots of big bumps. I'd say go for the Teins, I know the AVS ones got the hydraulic bump stopper, which should make the ride more comfortable. I'm actually gonna upgrade to Teins when mine finally do give out.
      That being said I don't regret being on springs first. I wasn't too sure how I'd like this car being lowered. I didn't want to spend $1k to find out and not like it. That being said, I LOVE IT. For sure my fav mod on the car. It feels like a real sports car now and not some SUV lol. It's such a cool feeling having a bigger car but that is still kinda low to the ground. Also I have no issues w/ any driveways. I can drive around everywhere lol.

    What’s up Eddie, just bought the GS350. I need to get new tires on it. I have 20 inch wheels aftermarket on it currently. Debating on getting tires to fit those 20 inch wheels or buying new wheels closer to original manufacturer size. What do you think?

    • @EddieGS350
      @EddieGS350  9 місяців тому +1

      Ahhh if it were me. I’d deff go back to 19s unless the 20s look absolutely amazing. You get more sidewall (comfier ride), lighter weight wheels so lighter rotational mass, and a lower final drive ratio if tires weren’t downsized (which gs already had really tall gears)
