Advice from a nanny: during bed time create a daily schedule such as rocking him, reading him a book and giving him some milk. Keep the tvs off and the lights dark, it will help him fall asleep. Also try to limit long evening naps. Wake him up if he naps after 4pm. I hope you read my comment and this helps you ❤

hi loveee 🤍 i just wanted to recommend a winding down night routine for you and your baby! maybe turn on some lullaby music, put away toys “with” him and turn the lights low and give him his warm bottle at around the same time every night just to get him ready to sleep. of course you know best but i know when the night comes around you are for sure exhausted from all your mommy duties. remember, you set the rules for your baby and once the routine becomes consistent, it will benefit you so much. you look gorgeous as always!
That’s absolutely true and It works, my baby is 8 months old and I apply this since he was 2 months , he goes to sleep at 8:30pm and wake up around 7:30am, all babies are different but we need our space and also babies love routines, try it, I’m a new mommy and I know we don’t like to others tell us what to do but this is a good recommendation and we take it or leave it

If my 1 year old daughter takes a late nap she’ll be up til 2am as well 😫 Also, I would try to replace tv with books that late or just let them run around to get the rest of their energy out. The screen naturally keeps your mind running so it’s harder to wind down and get tired. You got this!
Yes, this helped me too! Capping naps at 2:30-3pm. We also started a very consistent bedtime routine at 13 months (dinner, no screen time after that, bath, pjs, book, bed). It was an adjustment and I was apprehensive but my little one did really well and now falls asleep every night at 7:45-8pm. He’s 2.5 yrs old. Do what’s best for you! You are doing amazing!

Honestly it is such a blessing cause I love my little man, that is my best friend. But when I try to do extra stuff on top of the basic needs, like planning his bday party, an outing to the park, or planning my next career move, that's when the stress/anxiety can kick in. You need to create a night time routine for Aziz as many other people have said in the comment. He shouldn’t be napping past 4 o clock if he’s going to be ready to go to sleep for the night. Give him dinner, a bath, ready for bed, read a book, rock him while he has a bottle and put him in the crib with white noise playing. Even if he isn’t tired continue doing this so he gets used to it. I had my son 3 months before turning 22 yrs old. I remember how difficult it was raising him, and at times I just felt defeated because I had to work full time and I was also going to school. My ex husband was in the military and stationed in the middle of the Mojave Desert. We had no help from family at all becaus they were all the way in NY, but somehow we managed to make it and once my son turned 3 years old , I feel like the time flew by so fast afterwards. Now that he is all grown up, I wish that he was a baby because it truly goes by so fast and before you know it, he will be going to school, etc. I know that it’s not easy being a mom at such a young age, but trust me , it is the greatest gift in life!!!! You are such a kind soul, Cristina, please don’t be too hard on yourself. You are doing your best and you are an amazing mom!!! What matters is that you try and you provide a safe, loving, environment for Aziz. Family is the most important thing in the world, just enjoy each day as it comes and do not overthink or compare yourself to others, because you can only be you…and you are more than enough! Consistent night routine. No tv. My one was 5-6pm dinner then bath then a little quiet cuddle with a bottle and bed by 7-8. No late naps. My daily routine didn’t change much so she knew what to expect. Lunch then nap after. I didn’t have a tv so I think that a big issue too.

I do not miss sleep regressions 😂 but I feel for you lol not letting my kids fall asleep with the tv on was what helped us a ton though. I noticed the nights I had it on, they would take forever to fall asleep because it would overstimulate their falls. Put him in his room with the lights off and a sound machine and read him some stories or play some classical music. I have 2 of the worlds worst sleepers and that always helped, plus cuddles with me lol

And omg yes my boyfriend surprised me with that trip for his birthday and it ended up being sooo bad :( the baby got sick while we were gone with a 105 fever and was in the hospital so we had to come home early I was scared to travel before he turned 1 and everyone told me it would be okay and than he gets sick so now I’m terrified to travel again without him 😭

At about this age I would take my lil one swimming a couple of times a week.Not only did it give me time to meet other parents but also it helps burn off lots of energy they have at this age. Weekly and set day routines really help.You do an awesome job.
My daughter was a late sleeper until we put her into preschool & she had an actual routine. Now she falls asleep at 7pm everyday & wakes up at 7am. It’s a long day but we get a few hours to clean up & relax before we go to bed too. The soup looked yummy! Pardon me bc I may be overstepping…but…be careful playing house. If you want marriage, do not allow a man to become comfortable having you do wife stuff (cooking, cleaning, taking care of his baby/babies) without commitment. Financial commitment if something happens to him on the road, you are entitled to compensation. Again forgive me. I’ve watched many women get caught up in the playing house cycle

Next time try to do the walk before his nap so that he can be extra tired and you can rest after walking so much! What helped my 18mo old the most is having a busy morning schedule so that nap isn’t too late then affecting bed time! The more you can get them out early in the morning the better! 🤞🏼💞
Have you tried to get Aziz on a structured scheduled ? I’m not trying to judge I have a 9 month old and she strictly sleeps in her room and in bed by 8pm. It was rough at first but once we got her on a schedule our life was so much better! Also naps at set times in the crib during the day helped me get all the stuff I needed to get done like clean etc while baby was napping during the day. Get the book “moms on call” it changed my life !

Girl trust me it’s hard depending on the child. But, once I put a bed routine (took a while to finally be successful) it was such a weight lifted off for my son and me. He finally got the hint and was so much better! ❤❤❤
I’m not a routine person at all, but having a bed time routine with my kids, especially when number 2 came along, helped tremendously! Plus no tv 2 hours before bed helps as well. The tv overstimulates our brains making it harder to fall asleep.

Definitely agree! It’s a hard habit to break since it seems so much easier now but it’s definitely worth breaking it because it helps soooooo much in the long run. I’m a momma to 2 boys. I’m struggling with that because my boyfriend works from 4pm to 4am so I feel like me and the baby are on his schedule that’s why we go to bed so late we used to go to bed early and wake up early and by the time my boyfriend woke up we’d be on our first nap so I would legit have no help at all and we would never see him but this way we wake when he does he’s able to help me with the baby before work and we take him to the park and stuff so I’m struggling to decide if I should keeep our schedule or not 😭

I have a similar life as you I have a 1yr old boy and I’m a SAHM. What helps me is not letting him nap after 5pm and he’s out by 10pm till the next day try it 😊 btw I love your content

Hey what a beautiful family ❤ you are doing a great job, you can always try to incorporate a bedtime routine with Aziz to make him Understand when it’s time to go to bed for night, what I did with my little one was bathtime, then story time , ( I dim the lights or close them in room ) give him his bottle and then I rock him to sleep when he’s about to fall asleep put him down is his crib and do that until he falls asleep for night . I didn’t “ sleep train” but that always worked for me :)!

Next time try to do the walk before his nap so that he can be extra tired and you can rest after walking so much! What helped my 18mo old the most is having a busy morning schedule so that nap isn’t too late then affecting bed time! The more you can get them out early in the morning the better! 🤞🏼💞

Have you tried to get Aziz on a structured scheduled ? I’m not trying to judge I have a 9 month old and she strictly sleeps in her room and in bed by 8pm. It was rough at first but once we got her on a schedule our life was so much better!
Also naps at set times in the crib during the day helped me get all the stuff I needed to get done like clean etc while baby was napping during the day. Get the book “moms on call” it changed my life !

Definitely set a routine! Bath, bottle book and rocking. And also if he sleeps later in the day for his naps he definitely won’t sleep at night, try and make his naps earlier! Good luck mama 🥰🥰
Girl trust me it’s hard depending on the child. But, once I put a bed routine (took a while to finally be successful) it was such a weight lifted off for my son and me. He finally got the hint and was so much better! ❤❤❤
I’m not a routine person at all, but having a bed time routine with my kids, especially when number 2 came along, helped tremendously! Plus no tv 2 hours before bed helps as well. The tv overstimulates our brains making it harder to fall asleep.

At night I see you guys are watching tv and your also saying he wont fall asleep until later > screen time, as he gets older you will not want him watching tv before bed, the way it effects them is mot good, definitely read up on it girl! Definitely agree! It’s a hard habit to break since it seems so much easier now but it’s definitely worth breaking it because it helps soooooo much in the long run. I’m a momma to 2 boys. Rough play before bed helps our littles go to bed easier too. 😂 you definitely got some good advice in the comments. I hope it goes well and I’m excited to see updates🥰

I’m struggling with that because my boyfriend works from 4pm to 4am so I feel like me and the baby are on his schedule that’s why we go to bed so late we used to go to bed early and wake up early and by the time my boyfriend woke up we’d be on our first nap so I would legit have no help at all and we would never see him but this way we wake when he does he’s able to help me with the baby before work and we take him to the park and stuff so I’m struggling to decide if I should keeep our schedule or not 😭

This means you won’t have help. This may mean your boyfriend might has to change his schedule at work.

I have a similar life as you I have a 1yr old boy and I’m a SAHM. What helps me is not letting him nap after 5pm and he’s out by 10pm till the next day try it 😊 btw I love your content

Understand when it’s time to go to bed for night, what I did with my little one was bathtime, then story time , ( I dim the lights or close them in room ) give him his bottle and then I rock him to sleep when he’s about to fall asleep put him down is his crib and do that until he falls asleep for night . I didn’t “ sleep train” but that always worked for me :)!
