hi mark how could you remain soo calm when ur shrimp jumped onto the floor, my immediate reaction would be to drop everything and rescue the shrimp overboard
this is my next choice of shrimp to get. ive mastered red cherry and blue velvet so now these as i beleive they are quite easy compared to most cardinia
Awesome video. Do you have fertz on your subwassertang and mosses? I've read conflicting information stating mosses don't tend well to fertz. Anyways...I watched your How to tie Subwassertang video tonight as I tied mine. Cheers.
Great video, what kind of moss was that and may you please link where you got the shrimp from, I tried searching Roger Ellington shrimp but couldn't find any, I also checked the description
The moss is actually a plant called subwassertang ,I will leave you a playlist for it ua-cam.com/video/aJueVH8Fhqc/v-deo.html Here is the like for Relicon Aqua ►goo.gl/GEfjuH
They are beauties! Noticed what you photoed the single tiger on looks like a tree branch with bark on it??? I thought you had to take bark off. No? What kind of tree is it from?
hi there Mark. please tell me what shrimp you would recommend crossing with the tangerine tigers? i would like to create a pinkish red tiger, but what can i cross them with?
Oh I would try a super crystal red, I am trying a weird cross right now in i am crossing a female super crystal red with a blue bolt. I think all they will mmake is shrimp looking like crystals and occasionally I will get a panda or another blue bolt so I am basicly making mischlings 😂
Same as my other softwater shrimp ,tds 150ppm temp is 24c and I dont measure anything else because I use RO water so the kh will be zero ..gh is probably around 5-6
Mark I’m new to freshwater shrimp, I have a bunch of neocaridina davidi, some of them have about 10 balls in a clear sack under their tail, does this mean they are pregnant? Sorry if this is a dumb question I’m new and don’t know, thanks
Hello Mark, I have a little problem with my red cheery shrimps..they dont wont make a babies :( ! (and yes , I have maybe 3 males and 7 females). What should be advise to me, to reproduce them ?
yes ,they have nice yellow saddles and every week I am changing water (30%)..dont know about feeding, once a time Iam giving them some food contains algae but in my tank there is much algea on the backside of tank and on the plants too..so I will give them food more often
Rudies Tanks 30% every week is probably too much and might be stressing them out. I'd personally drop it to 10% a week and see if you have better results
The jumper and the two in the bucket were safely added back to the tank :)

@@MarksShrimpTanks do they get the same parasite japonica and require salt dips?
Your tanks always look so good! Be proud of them. Thanks for showing us around.
That color is just amazing!

Great video Mark! Excellent shrimps and beautiful tanks
Thank you Acuarios !!
Great unboxing. enjoyed watching your new shrimp.
Thank you Sherry :)
Nice, I have some Tangerine Tiger crosses, they throw out some nice patterns whilst keeping that deep yellow.
Great video Mark. I just started a mixed tank of the same shrimp also. So much fun you are going to love it.
Yeah I love them, if you have seen Dennis and Jays tanks you will see why I am doing this :)
Marks Shrimp Tanks Jay, You, and Dennis are all great breeders. I'll be watching your mixed tank closely.
Hello Mark, great video
Double dip or any nice, slow method is fantastic. Too many people are in too big a hurry.
Agreed, I dont think I have ever lost a shrimp doing this double dip thing :)

No ferts at all in my tanks, I have tried it but it made the subwassertang melt so it just likes clean water :)
Sir what kind of big moss you have in middle of tank? Is it atrached to rocks or wood?
Its not a moss the plant is called subwassertang and its attached to wood :)
Marks Shrimp Tanks thanns a lot. Its a very beautiful plant and awesome from shrimp frys to hide
Definitely on my wishlist for 2018: getting shrimp from ReliconAqua
Great shrimp for crossbreeding so I am told :)
About time u got yourself some tangerines 😁
They are pretty cool have you crossed them before Lars ?
Marks Shrimp Tanks yes they are a stunning shrimp. I haven’t crossed them. But maybe in the future.
I cross my tangerines to make TI bees and they come out great

Of proshrimp co UK they have tangerine tiger shrimps
They are beauties! Noticed what you photoed the single tiger on looks like a tree branch with bark on it??? I thought you had to take bark off. No? What kind of tree is it from?
It might have been oak or alder , both are dried and I only use stuff that has naturally fallen of in the fall :)
awesome work bro!!
Thank you sir :)
How do you prepare the water for your shrimp? Do you have a video on that? Thanks.

@@MarksShrimpTanks they will look beautiful I'm sure. thank you Mark. wish I could marry a man like you lol
Mark, what kind of water values do you have in your Tangerine tank? PH, KH, GH, Temp?
Same as my other softwater shrimp ,tds 150ppm temp is 24c and I dont measure anything else because I use RO water so the kh will be zero ..gh is probably around 5-6
If I am not mistaken the Akadama soil does not affect the GH? Do you add any GH+ buffer or is the tap water in your area already at that level?
Hello John I use RO water with salty bee buffer ..akadam does effect gh in the first week or so as it sucks in all the minerals :)
Will tangerine tiger shrimp breed with red cherry shrimp?
No they wont :)
@@MarksShrimpTanks i read somewhere that they will breed with red cherry shrimps...😕
@@kathleenmonsegue9700 no they cant breed with each other
Do tt go into neo parameters? Will they breed
yes they go into both parameters and they breed like the clappers.
@@MarksShrimpTanks hahahaaa...
Thinking about 2 hours on drop or what is your thoughts?
Btw I adore all your old age shite... I am crunchy too!
as in drip acclimation, yes as long as possble is the best.
