    Awesome video. Do you have fertz on your subwassertang and mosses? I've read conflicting information stating mosses don't tend well to fertz.
    Anyways...I watched your How to tie Subwassertang video tonight as I tied mine. Cheers.

    hi there Mark. please tell me what shrimp you would recommend crossing with the tangerine tigers? i would like to create a pinkish red tiger, but what can i cross them with?

    • @MarksShrimpTanks
      @MarksShrimpTanks  9 місяців тому +1

      Oh I would try a super crystal red, I am trying a weird cross right now in i am crossing a female super crystal red with a blue bolt. I think all they will mmake is shrimp looking like crystals and occasionally I will get a panda or another blue bolt so I am basicly making mischlings 😂

    Mark, what kind of water values do you have in your Tangerine tank? PH, KH, GH, Temp?

    • @MarksShrimpTanks
      @MarksShrimpTanks  7 років тому

      Same as my other softwater shrimp ,tds 150ppm temp is 24c and I dont measure anything else because I use RO water so the kh will be zero ..gh is probably around 5-6

    • @johnhansen6953
      @johnhansen6953 7 років тому

      If I am not mistaken the Akadama soil does not affect the GH? Do you add any GH+ buffer or is the tap water in your area already at that level?

    • @MarksShrimpTanks
      @MarksShrimpTanks  7 років тому

      Hello John I use RO water with salty bee buffer ..akadam does effect gh in the first week or so as it sucks in all the minerals :)

    Mark I’m new to freshwater shrimp, I have a bunch of neocaridina davidi, some of them have about 10 balls in a clear sack under their tail, does this mean they are pregnant? Sorry if this is a dumb question I’m new and don’t know, thanks

    Hello Mark, I have a little problem with my red cheery shrimps..they dont wont make a babies :( ! (and yes , I have maybe 3 males and 7 females). What should be advise to me, to reproduce them ?

    • @MarksShrimpTanks
      @MarksShrimpTanks  7 років тому

      Are you feeding them enough ? if they have saddles a decent 30% water change might get them started :)

    • @DupoRules
      @DupoRules 7 років тому

      yes ,they have nice yellow saddles and every week I am changing water (30%)..dont know about feeding, once a time Iam giving them some food contains algae but in my tank there is much algea on the backside of tank and on the plants too..so I will give them food more often

    • @rerun9539
      @rerun9539 7 років тому

      Rudies Tanks 30% every week is probably too much and might be stressing them out. I'd personally drop it to 10% a week and see if you have better results
