Right at this present time, there are 2 family members who made recent transitions home, walking and talking with God in the garden! Lyric was a vibrant 13 yr old young lady who along her Mother and older & younger siblings entered into my family's life 2.5 yrs ago. For almost 2 yrs Lyric began her battle with brain cancer along with another disease making its way into her vision. While on this journey called life, surgeons in Atlanta and Houston did their best with the tumors which seemed to have taken on lives of their own. Meanwhile global support poured in from every corner as she warmed the hearts of celebrities and others who embraced the family with love and support. Last Thursday, Monica ( mother) posted an Instagram picture which read "Lyric" is dying. Lord knows my heart really broke even though I knew where it would eventually take all of us. I cried as the memories filled my eyes. Early Friday am, Lyric placed her hands in God's hands and walked into the Garden, prepared for her arrival. Yes Lord only You know the anguish and heartbreak the family is feeling at this time. All social Media are still tracking for updates. But God had and has the updates! Lyric Jacks has her WINGS! My 92 yr old AUNT transitioned last evening after her bouts with dementia and its kinfolks. A fall put her in rehab where she ended up with pneumonia then Covid-19 after transfer to the hospital. My 94 yr old uncle is trying to recover from losing 2nd oldest daughter in Washington State from yrs of heart issues, last month. He can't fly due to congestive heart issues. Adding to all things! BUT GOD! YES PASTOR MAYO, KEEP SINGING & PRAISING GOD! IN THE MIDST OF IT ALL! HE'S PRESENT! Pastor Marvin Sapp says " I'm Thankful for It All"!
