    Streicher is nice in my opinion although the pleyel had some nice moments!

    Which version is your favorite or what do you like about each?

      It's hard to arrive at a preference, but I love the introspective quality of the Streicher.

      @@blintscavagreed, that was my preferred instrument while recording. The Pleyel gets tinny in the upper register.

      The sound of pianos builded after 1850 are very similar to modern pianos. A piano from 1830-1840 are in the transition period to modern instruments. It's very interesant this material. Thank you for sharing to us.

    The first version is better though it's really ridiculously difficult..
    I really like the last sgambati coda. But nobody plays this coda these days.😮
