    something that i discovered about a week ago, skip the surface cleaner. Just use a turbo nozzle from start to finish and it rips all the weeds and moss out of the cracks from a single quick pass. I was punching myself for not trying a turbo nozzle sooner, saved me actual hours on a big paver driveway.

    Hey Jason I have a tip to make this job more efficient for you. Believe it or not I used a 2100 PSI 1.2GPM Electric (LOL!) machine to do the same amount of surface at my house. I got all the grass and weeds out of my patio and cleaned most of the grime with a turbo nozzle alone. First I sprayed SH everywhere, then I used the turbo nozzle on the cracks. Finally I finished off all the rest of the stains with the surface cleaner
    So yeah the take away from my experience is that it would be more efficient just use a turbo nozzle on the cracks and then finish with surface cleaner. Might even be better to do SH last and just let it sit in all the cleaned away cracks then come back hours later to rinse it off so the greens are killed for sure.

    • @kingofpressurewash
      @kingofpressurewash  2 роки тому

      Only problem I have with the turbo nozzle is sometimes they don't get the weeds out. You cut them off at the top but if you look down into the rates are still there

    I'd let the customer know it's going to take two weeks. Because I'm gonna spray the weeds with weed killer, then let it work for two weeks. Then when you come back they're all dried up and all you gotta do is knock them off with a weed eater real quick, then blow it off, then do the pressure washing and sealing without ever getting on your hands and knees.

This fella has not understood that you have to clean out your joints 1-inch before you put down any sand. I really hope he takes the time to understand that he needs a turbo nozzle and he needs to clean his joints out properly because what he's doing here is ripping people off and giving them a horrible horrible job that will not last. Will fail almost immediately. Glad he's using an interlocking sealer. That is a plus. But he is not properly installing the sand. He should not be wetting it down watering the sand. He should know how to sweep it off and get the sand down below the paver with a push broom and regular Brum. And then blown off the excess. I hope he gets better,
