Great video! I’d love to see a video with ideas on how to style summer athleisure outfits with sneakers only. Sandals are just so uncomfortable to wear while running around all day. Thank you!
A cute summer dress or romper is just as comfortable and cooler for summer than athleisure. And there's tons of comfortable sandals...these ladies have made whole videos dedicated to it.
All great ideas. When I was growing up, my mother taught me to sew and it was my summer fun project during high school. If I person knows how to sew it makes a person understand that , the price does not make a piece of clothing worth so much more. For example, like you all were saying you can find a dress or romper in a very expensive store and find the exact same thing in another store and pay 1/3 the cost. Just because something is from an expensive store does not make the item higher quality. It’s exactly like you were saying, if you stick to natural fibers like cotton linen, silk or wool, the item is worth a lot more because it’s good quality.
I fully agree with the high quality accessories with cheaper clothing. I have always bought high quality leather handbags and shoes. I just can't stand cheap handbags and shoes....they really do ruin an outfit. I have only ever bought lower priced or mid priced clothing but when you pair the clothes with a nice handbag or shoes, you can't tell. The accessories will last you a long time and you always have the building blocks for a nice outfit.
agree!!! I can wear old Levis and a thrifted graphic tee with my channel ballet flats and Chloe bag. Totally makes the oufit look so cool, you don't think about the cost. I am trying to teach my daughter not to buy cheap shoes. lol So hard, she just wants to look trendy.
Also, don't forget to use your clothing shaver for those items that tend to pill. Sometimes I won't see them in my bedroom where I get dressed but out in the open air they are sticking their tongue out at me!
Thank you. Great video! Another tip is when purchasing new shoes always look to see if the bottom has a sticker showing the size or possibly the price and make sure to remove it.
So many great tips here! You both really dress so nice but just as important you both have a casual elegance that comes through. I had an older friend that lived through the depression and had outstanding style. She often said if you are buying a less expensive item buy it in a darker color like black or navy. She also mentioned how important the right fit was. Keep doing budget ideas because people are trying to be practical but still look good.
Those thread belt loops are only meant to keep the belt from being separated from the dress before being sold. Always carefully cut them off. Great tips, ladies.
great tips. piggy backing on prints i try to make sure when selecting a print that the seams are on the side because if a print such as stripes does not match at the seams the side seams camouflage this imperfection. nothing worse than a single back seam with stripes that are not lined up. i think this makes a piece look cheap.
What materials (besides wool of course) are ones to AVOID during hot weather? I don't really know all the materials that are considered too warm to wear or don't breathe very well during summer months. I know some materials are also blends, so when you have time, please let me know ALL materials that are not good to wear wear in hot weather. I am a senior citizen. Thank you.
Sometimes it is best to have only a few quality pieces and skip the less expensive or synthetic fabrics as they tend to have fit problems are see thru and are uncomfortable. You don't need to spend a fortune to look pulled together, but cheap clothing IS expensive if you have limited wear or it shrinks.
I tried to open up your links with the more button but it doesn’t show more it takes me to the first Amazon top. It usually doesn’t do this. Anyone else have the issue?
We love linen & we do iron it but once it’s on our bodies we don’t worry about the wrinkling. Linen blends are a great option though for less wrinkling.
Hi how are doing both of you in Florida good to see both of you maybe very cool on the summer no I'm just joking ❤❤from me in California good by Thacker both of you
Avoid at all costs high content Rayon fabric! Permanent wrinkles and does not launder well. Looks beautiful in the store and awful after first launder!

Athleisure belongs in the gym, not in public

Great tips! One of my tips for cheap slips is you can find them at thrift shops. All of mine are from them. Under $10.
Such a great video! Lots of good tips. I love ironing and love giving that clean pressed look to all my clothes.
Great video. Can you give recommendations on summer sweaters with different outfits please? Sometimes you need one at night.
I just bought this beach sweater & I love it so much, it’s great to throw on in AC or a cool night.

Great tip!
Regardless of the price point, invest in the "right" undergarments: slips, camisoles, hosiery and yes bras.
You Got That Right ✅️
Seam ripper ❤
Tell me about your shoes please.

What about linen? Very wrinkly and getting wrinkles out is a pain!
