For the rice to get it right, 1 cup of rice = 2 cups of water. Make sure you put it on low heat. So if you use 1/2 cup of rice, that means it’s 1 full cup of water. Make sure you are using the same cup for measurements. Thank me later. But the trick is to slow cook the rice. If you cook it on high heat, make sure to reduce the heat immediately , put on a cover, and let it cook on low heat. It will come out perfect

rice cooker is the most fool proof way of cooking rice! take it from an asian who is picky about rice prep. n eats it everyday!! get you a good quality Japanese rice cooker they last a lifetime! you just add rice water turn it on n forget it till the music plays when it's ready!
