Yeah unfortunately Irene's talents are always overlooked because of her visuals and also the groups setup/concept. She's an amazing dancer but sm doesn't show it too often, the Irene Seulgi subunit was the best thing for that. Her vocals have improved a ton but of course she's in a group with Wendy, Seulgi, and Joy so it's not expressed as well. (Chill kill was a great example of her vocal capabilities) her rap is not popularity liked and i think it's because her rap style is kinda unique. She has a husky voice but she isn't super tough like a lot of other rappers but she isn't quite cutesy either it's something in the middle. I think her rap tone is honestly one of the best I've heard but red velvet also doesn't really have the best raps to showcase her abilities all the time.
