The crew motorfest is what everyone was asking need for speed to do but didn’t deliver. I’m so happy to be a The Crew fan since the release of The Crew 1 and too see how far it has come it fills me up with pride to see it climb up the latter to be the best arcade racing game 😁 I geeked out SOOOOOO hard when I played the close beta
i have more than 2000 hours on the crew 1.but u know what is missing in the crew motorfest? a map 5000x bigger than the one in fortnite ,like in the crew 1 :( that was the best part from the crew
The Crew really imitated Forza Horizon, props to them for that. Forza Horizon isn't available in all devices, exclusive to Xbox and PC. So seeing something rivaling Forza for other Consoles is a win for me. As a Forza player myself I think Forza Horizon cannot be beat in the looks and mechanics department, the game is lifelike and takes my breath away whenever I play it on my PC at 4K Max settings. Overall I might give the Crew a try I just don't feel the vibe, I miss the old Crew, you know the one where you could travel the whole USA? 😢
This, I don't have any interest in The crew motorfest TBH, but I want FH to have a competitor because it will help them see innovations that the competitor does and attempt to improve their own game beyond that. I just don't like arcade physics so the crew and NFS just aren't for me. I only tolerate FH5's physics because there is nothing better open world wise.
As a fan of both TC and FH, both are winners in their own respect! TC has defo stepped it up 10 fold from the last two Crew games!! 👏 NFS has now falling behind, they need to catch up to TCM and FH! 👌
FH5's map looks graphically better, but design-wise it is honestly boring. And that's coming from me, who loved the eastern part of FH5's map due to its resemblance to my hometown and its surrounding areas. Motorfest's balance of realism and their own rendition of parts of Oahu makes the map fun and a treat to drive around in. Though tbh, i do still hate how much space the Motorfest festival grounds takes up.

FH's graphics are better than the graphics of TCM, but the physics are hard to compare bc FH is more of a sim racer while TCM is trying to be an arcade racer so it comes more to what u prefer. personally I like the TCM car sounds better than the car sounds of FH. customization can both be improved. FH needs more spoilers, bumpers etc. and TCM needs engine swaps, suspension etc. FH has more cars I believe, but TCM has bikes, monster truck, planes, boats etc. (not a lot of ppl actually care about the boats tho.)

I play only sim racing, i started 10years ago on forza but based on this video i would prefer the crew motorfest just because the cars sound more realistic than forza horizon, too bad its arcade type game, cause it looks fun

FH5's graphics still looks like it just released despite being a 2 years old game, it's making Motorfest look like it came after Motorfest while Motorfest hasn't released yet.
It is considered a quantum leap, as The Crew 2 was a very stupid game, but it was fun and its graphics failed, but Motorfest reached Forza and crossed Forza. For information, the graphics in Motorfest said the developers that it will be ten times better than this version

The modeling and finishing of the cars is better in TCMF, but the landscapes and lighting are better in FH5. Ultimately, FH5 feels much more like real life.
You playing on PS4 or something because the crew on ps5 on a 4K monitor is fucking insane buddy dunno what you’re comparing but the crew’s landscaping is astonishing on next gen! The mountain textures and foliage is amazing even the water is crystal clear..

Don't be fooled like a 12 years old that sees some vibrant colors and vivid skies and thinking that's top notch quality. The crew has less polygons then horizon and the textures are ''worse''. Also TC doesn't support ray tracing (Not that you know what's that on your ps5 😅). Anyway the game still looks amazing and I like it aswell, but from a technical stand point Horizon is better.
Cool that you are placing the car in forza in a sunny place and in the crew in a shadow place. Cool that you use for the soundtest on forza a inside area so the sound can reflect.... Dude thats not a comparison if you dont use the same Scenarios....
I noticed that in the physics section, Crew Motorfest still suffers the effect that makes acceleration and stopping on very low speeds like 5 mph feel snappy for deceleration yet smooth for acceleration like a person walking rather than FH5 car that keeps rolling and when it accelerates it immediately goes to 5 mph.
Agreed, but i see that forza’s cars don’t even move, and they don’t improve with each game. The crew motorfest is miles better than the crew 2, they improved alot, and it’s only their third game. You can definitely tell the difference between TCM and TC2, but forza horizon 4 and 5 are more similar than Mario kart 8 and 7

Sometimes it would straight up kick us out of lobby. Unfinished game. You can tune every car the same with an exact same tune and it will drive the same. Which is great for balancing but same time it’s takes away from the quality. Performance mode say it’s supposed to be 1440 p 60 fps but a lot of times it’s drops down to 1080 p or 900p for the actual visuals 😭🤦🏾♂️the car model will look great but then the outside will look flat. They have a game but Ubisoft has got a lot of people fooled. I sum it up as a lot of people been wanting a new racing game for awhile so there’s that hype ply the hype of finally a decent open world racing game ps5. Forgot to mention freezes and crashes and fidelity mode is broken. What the point of 4k mode and can’t use it. When every other racing game performance and fidelity mode is perfect
I love The Crew but my only complaint from TC2 (and from videos, motorfest) is how the gravity of the feels like Jupiter gravity. It’s like they absolutely hate the air when it comes to ramps, cliffs, jumps, etc. Cars just drop as if they’re a 20 ton tank, no matter it’s a Ford F-150 or Miata Forza’s weight feels so much better
Another thing is that the SR-71 blackbird, one of the fastest planes in existences is infact a high speed brick and starts plummeting the moment it's engines fail
I like how Forza touted its improved sounds coming up to its release, but still ended up with the same problem its had for years where most the cars sound too aggressive with too much treble and no presence what so ever. The Crew really nailed the sound design and haven't even bragged about it to my knowledge. Besides, in terms of graphics, all of these AAA games look the same anyways, you're not gonna notice the difference when you're going hundreds of miles per hour.

I love forza but the sounds of the cars just don't grab me like motorfest or nfs. You can hate all you want, but most games sound better than forza besides the legendary and epic cars that will obviously stand out. The only onenin denial is you, standing there with open hands waiting for playground games to actually deliver new and requested content.
@NitroGT78 that recycled hot wheels expansion from fh4? Or the rally, which was basically a more rally focused Storm Island? I've been playing since fh2. Don't even try it. The crew 2, while not perfect, has more to offer out of the box, let alone all content summed up to date, also with motorfest technically being a large expansion. They can call it a standalone game, but it's an expansion too big to tack on to tc2 and would take major overhauls to the mechanics vs. having a separate smaller title to work on. So maybe you should do a little more research or actually play the actual games to get real comparisons. Bought the full 100 dollar version of fh5, so I have and receive everything they have to offer vip players, which is pretty awesome on a reward side, but underwhelming on the endgame and expansions side. Move on.

I just want to see at night. The Crew 2 had headlights that don't work so you had to rely on street lights to see and if you drove off road, good luck trying to avoid trees you can't see. Motorfest better have some working headlights.
You can do proper night time driving now, I remember it was pretty much impossible in the first crew game as for some reason the headlights didn’t light up much in front of you in this game it’s much more realistic

Motorfest looks more arcade-ish than fh5. I mean it literally has nitro boost lmao😂 and the way the car rocks back and forth when you rev it up on neutral,like bruh💀 but the fact that the map is literally Hawaii and there are also motorcycles,boats,and planes is just mind blowing😮
You should of taken the side by side pictures in similar locations and times so both Infront of a house and at noon, also you should of made the cars look the same or as close as possible to get a decent comparison
i really want to know how hard it is to make a realistic car game because assetto corsa mods have almost every car in the world even new cars that just came out and the car sounds are so real and the graphics just beat forza and crew alone
On paper "Forza Horizon 5, looks better, and leans closer to the more Simulation type game, but i must say, what makes Motorfest much better, is that it's not boring, and it knows how to be a game, instead of a showcase, That's one thing i found really interesting with The Crew 2 too, it was so fun, the first hours into the game is really a grind, and u get to work your way up, in Forza u go into the damn game with a Senna, bc someone at turn 10 got married or some, there's no real progression, the thing i ever do in FH5 is cruize around the map in different cars for maybe a hour before i play something else, The Crew Motorfest is a true wonder for the Car game world''. Can't wait to see what Ivory tower does with the game in the future, looking bright. BTW (Love both games) .

Horizon's graphics are outstanding but I couldn't play the game for more than a month after its release because it got super boring and repetitive. I've been playing The Crew 2 since then and it is a lot more fun! I'm quite excited for Motorfest.
EA, turn 10, poliphany, codemaster etc. have all just been put on notice with TCM i cant believe the crew might actually become the next biggest racing game that we've been waiting for
I like how the crew motorfest is I think it's most definitely amazing and i havent played it and I do like forza which i have played but I also know as far as physics goes forza I think is on top now as far a sounds yeah forza doesn't have the best sounds but they are trying I'm sure they just want to focus on what's important not the sounds but the physics and gameplay and graphics so I'm sure because they have all of that figured out now they can focus on the sound of the cars

I've tried the crew, nfs and forza. Forza is best at almost everything. Most importantly the driving experience between forza and the rest is like night and day. Nothing comes close to the feel of racing in forza.

I think if you are truly a casual gamer and prioritize cars with good handling and grip, you should definitely choose The Crew Motorfest. Forza Horizon has more realistic handling, but the cars sometimes slip a lot, which annoys me.
they should've combined forzas handling, looks, sounds, modifications with the crews bikes, airplanes, atvs etc, map. and they would've had the best racing game ever. anyone saying anything else needs to cope.
I've never been a Crew fan, cuz they just seemed like weak NFS/ Forza copies, but Motorfest is looking better. Forza still remains king of the graphics department, but the cosmetic car customization of Motorfest is definitely better

I played both and you can tell in some areas Forza has a bigger budget but The Crew still impressed me playing on PS5 and maybe even more fun, i haven't played Forza in awhile

Yeah. Gameplay and everything is a lot better on the Crew games. I no longer have interest in doing Foza anymore. Coz to be Honest, every time you play it, it just feels boring, like there's nothing you really do besides Cruising and the Goliath races. Races against AI are too hard coz every car you use hardly ever turns. Stuff like that. In Crew 2, everything is so much more entertaining. Much larger map, you can use planes, monster trucks, motorbikes, boats, F1 cars etc. There's heaps of different race events you can do, you have more customisation and you don't have to pay for performance upgrades. It's easier to earn money too. And you earn Icon Points which you can use to increase your money payouts and followers as well as boost the effects for your vehicles. There's just nothing to do on Forza really. Horizon 3 had the best map though.

Tune is so very unrealistic in FH5. Tell me in what game does the intake manifold disappears when putting force induction on a car? If there is no intake manifold the car does not go or will stay on. In real life one can mod the intake manifold along with forced induction. One can also tune cars in the crew motorfest, LOL.
if only FH% had some proper gameplay in their game. Its amazing how packed and complete Motorfest is at launch, and with the post launch support of the crew 2, this could be dethrone nfs in a few years.
FH5 fanboy here, both graphics for the game are great however you are comparing different vehicles, different lighting and different scales. While it gives you an idea of how the games look it's ultimately down to your own personal hardware, it's going to look alot different just by the TV and it's particular settings

My opinion: forza horizon 5 wins by a land slide. Sound is more dynamic, it reacts with every single environment it’s in, the car they used also and the recording in forza was not a good car for comparison. In the actual game itself it sounds more bassy and noisy. Next to graphics, the gtr doesn’t show reflections well in forza. On other cars it’s crisp and you see every single detail. The physics in forza are also more realistic, but not on a realism level. They’re more polished and feel better over all. If you’re a more arcady racing game player I can see why you think the crew feels better but generally forza was better with it.
Forza would be awesome if there was even a single ounce of car culture in it. Not v12 swap everything and throw the same exact spoiler on everything from an f150 to a laferrari

Those gear change sounds make TMC better in the sound, maybe not accurate, but the gear shift change sounds so cool, and also powerful
I think it was the way he changing gears and accelerating which made it inaccurate it was weird but he done it better in fh5

I noticed that in the physics section, Crew Motorfest still suffers the effect that makes acceleration and stopping on very low speeds like 5 mph feel snappy for deceleration yet smooth for acceleration like a person walking rather than FH5 car that keeps rolling and when it accelerates it immediately goes to 5 mph.
Agreed, but i see that forza’s cars don’t even move, and they don’t improve with each game. The crew motorfest is miles better than the crew 2, they improved alot, and it’s only their third game. You can definitely tell the difference between TCM and TC2, but forza horizon 4 and 5 are more similar than Mario kart 8 and 7

Sometimes it would straight up kick us out of lobby. Unfinished game. You can tune every car the same with an exact same tune and it will drive the same. Which is great for balancing but same time it’s takes away from the quality. Performance mode say it’s supposed to be 1440 p 60 fps but a lot of times it’s drops down to 1080 p or 900p for the actual visuals 😭🤦🏾♂️the car model will look great but then the outside will look flat. They have a game but Ubisoft has got a lot of people fooled. I sum it up as a lot of people been wanting a new racing game for awhile so there’s that hype ply the hype of finally a decent open world racing game ps5. Forgot to mention freezes and crashes and fidelity mode is broken. What the point of 4k mode and can’t use it. When every other racing game performance and fidelity mode is perfect

I love The Crew but my only complaint from TC2 (and from videos, motorfest) is how the gravity of the feels like Jupiter gravity. It’s like they absolutely hate the air when it comes to ramps, cliffs, jumps, etc. Cars just drop as if they’re a 20 ton tank, no matter it’s a Ford F-150 or Miata

I like how Forza touted its improved sounds coming up to its release, but still ended up with the same problem its had for years where most the cars sound too aggressive with too much treble and no presence what so ever. The Crew really nailed the sound design and haven't even bragged about it to my knowledge.
Besides, in terms of graphics, all of these AAA games look the same anyways, you're not gonna notice the difference when you're going hundreds of miles per hour.

I've been playing since fh2. Don't even try it. The crew 2, while not perfect, has more to offer out of the box, let alone all content summed up to date, also with motorfest technically being a large expansion. They can call it a standalone game, but it's an expansion too big to tack on to tc2 and would take major overhauls to the mechanics vs. having a separate smaller title to work on. So maybe you should do a little more research or actually play the actual games to get real comparisons. Bought the full
100 dollar version of fh5, so I have and receive everything they have to offer vip players, which is pretty awesome on a reward side, but underwhelming on the endgame and expansions side. Move on.

I just want to see at night. The Crew 2 had headlights that don't work so you had to rely on street lights to see and if you drove off road, good luck trying to avoid trees you can't see. Motorfest better have some working headlights.

TCM is like a breath of fresh air as FH has already bored us all. Since FH3, everything has been the same in subsequent FHs. Nothing new.

i really want to know how hard it is to make a realistic car game because assetto corsa mods have almost every car in the world even new cars that just came out and the car sounds are so real and the graphics just beat forza and crew alone
On paper "Forza Horizon 5, looks better, and leans closer to the more Simulation type game, but i must say, what makes Motorfest much better, is that it's not boring, and it knows how to be a game, instead of a showcase, That's one thing i found really interesting with The Crew 2 too, it was so fun, the first hours into the game is really a grind, and u get to work your way up, in Forza u go into the damn game with a Senna, bc someone at turn 10 got married or some, there's no real progression, the thing i ever do in FH5 is cruize around the map in different cars for maybe a hour before i play something else, The Crew Motorfest is a true wonder for the Car game world''. Can't wait to see what Ivory tower does with the game in the future, looking bright. BTW (Love both games) .

Horizon's graphics are outstanding but I couldn't play the game for more than a month after its release because it got super boring and repetitive. I've been playing The Crew 2 since then and it is a lot more fun! I'm quite excited for Motorfest.

It's useless to compare customization, because on the crew it's just cosmetics, but on FH5 it actually changes the bahvior of the vehicle.
I've tried the crew, nfs and forza. Forza is best at almost everything. Most importantly the driving experience between forza and the rest is like night and day. Nothing comes close to the feel of racing in forza.

I no longer have interest in doing Foza anymore. Coz to be Honest, every time you play it, it just feels boring, like there's nothing you really do besides Cruising and the Goliath races.
Races against AI are too hard coz every car you use hardly ever turns. Stuff like that.
In Crew 2, everything is so much more entertaining.
Much larger map, you can use planes, monster trucks, motorbikes, boats, F1 cars etc. There's heaps of different race events you can do, you have more customisation and you don't have to pay for performance upgrades.
It's easier to earn money too. And you earn Icon Points which you can use to increase your money payouts and followers as well as boost the effects for your vehicles.
There's just nothing to do on Forza really. Horizon 3 had the best map though.

Tune is so very unrealistic in FH5. Tell me in what game does the intake manifold disappears when putting force induction on a car? If there is no intake manifold the car does not go or will stay on. In real life one can mod the intake manifold along with forced induction. One can also tune cars in the crew motorfest, LOL.

FH5 fanboy here, both graphics for the game are great however you are comparing different vehicles, different lighting and different scales. While it gives you an idea of how the games look it's ultimately down to your own personal hardware, it's going to look alot different just by the TV and it's particular settings

My opinion: forza horizon 5 wins by a land slide. Sound is more dynamic, it reacts with every single environment it’s in, the car they used also and the recording in forza was not a good car for comparison. In the actual game itself it sounds more bassy and noisy. Next to graphics, the gtr doesn’t show reflections well in forza. On other cars it’s crisp and you see every single detail. The physics in forza are also more realistic, but not on a realism level. They’re more polished and feel better over all. If you’re a more arcady racing game player I can see why you think the crew feels better but generally forza was better with it.
