The Light (by Joe Logue) - Poetry Blues Collaboration Highlighting The Power Of Creativity

This Poem / Song will be featured on my EP 'Muscular Dystrophy Blues' out September 13th 2024.
Joe and I believe this is the first poetry and blues collaboration by two people with the same rare disease.
We both have a condition called Becker Muscular Dystrophy and although I was only diagnosed 13 months ago at 34 years old without any knowledge previously, Joe has known his whole life and used poetry and writing to express life with the condition.
We've become good friends over the recent year of my diagnosis, and after a few months of learning about this condition and life with it from people like Joe, then accepting it all and adjusting to the giant bombshell of news, we decided to work together on this song/poem.
