Good luck. My BMW's have been good earners, but the upkeep has been high, and I think they are jumping on the bandwagon of extended recalls that they don't move quickly to fix. They may end up as another Mercedes in that regard.

I just put it on. Not rented yet. September and October are the 2 slowest months out of the year.

Cool..good luck with the new car. If I lived in a city or something I'd love to do turo..but I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere so I am pretty sure it would not benefit me at all.
But.. I sold my car two weeks ago and carvana was NOT the highest. I had a couple different offers- 34k, 37k, 40k, 40k, 41k, 41.6k, 42k, and 42.5k. The two lowest were same brand dealerships (and the lowest actually was the dealership I bought it at new) lol. Carvana was one of the 40k offers. Carmax said they wanted to see it first because something about they didn't sell enough recently to know what to value it at, but a couple months ago their site said 42.5k. I did not take it to carmax or carvana in person, this is just what they said online. All of the other offers except the two highest were in person. I actually had the vehicle listed on marketplace for 45.5k to see what I would get from individuals, I was only contacted by a couple low ballers- but the two highest offers actually came from there and they were both dealerships.
The 42k offer was first, and I actually agreed to it but then a couple hours later got the offer for 42.5k and agreed to that one lol. Just as a courtesy though I let the first dealer (42k) know that I had a higher offer and would be going with them. They said they could do 43k- and as a courtesy to the other dealer I let them know I would be going with the original dealer. For both of these offers either dealership was going to come to my house and pick the vehicle up, however, the one dealer was coming from out of state and said they would give me a check that I could not cash until they got the title since it was financed. The other dealer was in state and said they would give me a cashier's check that I could cash immediately. At the end of the day, I was able to get the out of state dealer up to 43.5k but I had to take the vehicle to them for that price, and it'd be the check that I had to wait a while to cash. The other dealer was at 43k and they were still coming to get it and bringing a cashier's check. The extra hassle of taking the vehicle 230 miles away and having to drive back 230 miles and wait on the check wasn't worth $500 to me so I went with the first dealer. Window sticker was 39.3k for this vehicle, I owned it for exactly 1 year and put 13k miles on it and made money. They have it listed for $45.5k..
