- Cheikhou Kouyate scored twice as West Ham marked the first match at their new home by beating NK Domzale to reach the Europa League play-off round.
Trailing 2-1 from the first leg, the Hammers levelled on aggregate when Kouyate scored the first goal at the former Olympic Stadium, now the London Stadium, in front of a 53,914 crowd.
Kouyate put West Ham 3-2 ahead in the tie after Andy Carroll's knock down and Sofiane Feghouli added the third.

I walked past the stadium for the Juventus game and was surprised at how vocal and loud the fans were! Not a Library like the Emirates. Nice video.

Great video, my dad was born in East Ham, and i have been to Upton Park many times over the years, i was actually born in Southend On Sea which is in Essex, seeing this video has brought back lots of nice memories for me, thanks for sharing, have a good day there... Carl

Oh i do miss it Ashley, i used to live just opposite Priory Park, and i used to go fishing in there too, and yeah Roots Hall, the home of our local football team, and they used to have a great market in there as well.. I went to Southend in February with my sons which was when i was last back in England, we went on the pier and had a great time, all my brothers and sisters still live there, you know i would not at all be surprised if i ended up going back to Southend On Sea to live again at some point in the future, i love the place and i love Essex too, thanks for sending me on this memory trip, take care there... My family home was not that far from Cecil Jones, as we lived in South Avenue. He might know some of my family, me and my family are well known around Southend...

Just watched Green Street Hooligans for the 3rd time and now find myself googling everything West Ham United. Its flippen awesome! Bubbles be my ringtone!
Heres the thing, you cant just go back to the Boleyn bcs its been hammered down and in reconstruction, it will cost your club alot to go back and you wont be able to do any good signings bcs of lack of money. Why not buy the olyumpic stadium instead of just renting, so you cam namke the changes to the tadium that you need. It will cost money but your fans will be happy and it can do good things for your club:
1. You can reduce the seating and have deisgnated stands for fans and the ultras
2. Designated stands for the new comers or tourists as some of you say
3. Can get the pitch much closer to the fans
4. Bring alot of food stands beofre at the Boleyn to the new ground so to bring back the old atmosphere
5. Name it New Boely or something similliar as to preserve the heritage of the club
If you buy it theres lots you can do with your own stadium.
It will never be Upton Park but we move on,up the hammers and respect to the Westham family ⚒️🫧🫧🫧

I yearn for my younger days of yore. The atmosphere is like a baseball game in the U. S. (Family, kids, and apple pie). The stadium's buildings and price dimensions have been built up -- and the true fans' ambiance has been torn down.

is that stadium any good for soccer, I know West Ham got a sweet deal on it and the running track needed to.be left intact but the seats seem so far back, they would of been better off making the lower bowl run straight along the length of the field and move the whole lower bowl out and bring in the lower seating they are currently using for track and field, etc
