Cheering you on Jonathan! As a complete noob racer I can't imagine what it takes to ride at your level. All I can offer is relax and have fun because riding around on a motorcycle is the best feeling in world! I'm 58 and I still giggle like a boy when I am riding. Keep yourself safe Jonathan, cheers! 😃👍❤🏍🏁 Randy
No stress mate , you’ve been NO1 for a long run , take the pressure off for the rest of this year , kick back n enjoy your ride mate . Jobs a good un , we’re all behind ya JR1
Your are an awesome driver with a pretty hard time. I have never seen a driver doing less faults on world championchip level over all the years i saw you on bike. I'm pretty sure that you and your team will make it your bike soon. Heads up, Jonathan and good luck to stay on bike.
I imagine it's frustrating because you're a winner But what a legacy you've cemented into the history of WSBK you have a wonderful life ahead of you wonderful family etc... Just enjoy it my man the harder the battle the sweeter the victory. If it doesn't work out then not a problem I'm sure many manufacturers would give you a seat including Kawasaki
Don't sweat it my man. You guys will figure it out and in the meantime don't forget that you are THE legend of legends! You are a blessed man in sooooo many ways 🙏 🙌 ❤️.
Ahhh I bet its so frustrating!! You know you have it, we all know you have it, just gotta find it. Chin up mate, keep pushing, it'll all make it that much sweeter when it clicks and you find that sweet spot you can fight with 💪
Big fan JR and the production value of this series is amazing! Thank you. You’ll get there, new bike and new team. Champions can’t be held down, your time is coming
after riding a CBR for a decade at my snail pace for sure - riding my brother's R1 was like relearning how to ride, it was such an alien feeling (especially the engine braking as it goes w slowing down and downshifting) I never took to it, the engine characteristics on the cross plane Yamaha is totally foreign territory, I can't imagine at JR's speed trying to get it down and be successful !! More power and success to you Johnny - still pulling for you !!!
Hey Jonathan, I noticed you mentioned the trail-breaking from the last video. Thank you. This was a good insight into what goes on behind the scenes with injuries. Good video, and impressive. editing. I was super excited to see you get on a Yamaha R1, so hopefully you can find what you need to bond with that bike. Definitely not easy mate.
Medical gal was looking you over and confirming that nothing was broken, I think she replied with something like, "just old things"😮. You racers are brutally tough, thank you for producing such awesome, professional content!
I was surprised you left Kawasaki but I’m sure it work out eventually even if this season turns out to be a learning year on new bike,,,I honestly can’t cross my fingers any tighter 😂😮 All best for rest of season 👍👍👍👍👌
He, Jonathan! I don't know that I'm a hardcore fan of yours. But I'm sure of a thing or two. The bike can go fast, and you are a tremendous rider. You will do it. You will get to kick asses again on this bike. You. Are. A. Champion.
Keep on slogging JR it will click. I along with everyone else apreciate the honest footage and great production you are doing with these vlogs. We will see you again up the front mate
It's never easy. Your 6 World Championships weren't either, even if our (Spectators ) memory sometimes forgets how much hard work and sacrifices those kind of achievements entail. Facing the lows straight up and with honesty is the mark of the great. Not giving it all is the only failure. You have the respect of those who matter, including your new bosses or sponsors. They know who you are. You and your loved ones do too. That is what will transcend after the Mics & Spotlights turn their attention to new "Favorites", it's always been like that. The great Giacomo is a nice picture of how to handle just that. Cheer up !!
Is really hard to see you like that and feel you, maybe not 100% because i am not a pro rider but even as a hobbyrider when the laptime not came like i want is very frustrated i have also ridden 2023 one season with the R1 but i also was never one with the bike, this 2024 season have take again my old s1000rr and i am again one with the bike.Of course is not comparable with your situation, you are such great champ and have pressure etc what we hobbyrider don't have also you ride on a complete another level, but still i can feel you.i hope for you that the things turn around and you became one with the bike.
I know you are desperate to progress and win again Jonathan, but desperation gives a narrow view, sit down in a quiet space, take a wider view, there lies the answer. You have got it, remember that, and we are with you. Cheers.
Really felt for you Sir. We do hope everything comes together for the next round and you get that podium win. Can I ask tho, do you have a handle bar mounted rear brake on the right side, or is it 100% redundant as you said. 👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻❤🇬🇧
Hi, how much of the issues are down to a poor calendar this year , nearly 2 months between races. testing is OK but nothing beats race miles on a new bike. more racing i would say would give you better data and more flow being race ready on the bike. Keep the hard work going , you are still one of best in the world
JR you don't look happy and that must be affecting your confidence and self-belief. As you say, making a big step rather than lots of baby steps will help you tremendously, I'm sure. Once that happens the brakes will literally be off and you'll be back to fighting at the front where you deserve to be. Keep going chap, you're a born winner, proved many times!
A year before Josh Hayes went on his 3 championship win streak he said he was crying in his trailer and saying to himself "I can't believe I've got this factory ride and my career is over" because he just could not figure out the bike. it's an incredible story how he was able to turn it around and I recommend anyone give it a listen. it's possible to come back when it seems all hope is lost: Off Track with Carruthers and Bice - # 244 Josh Hayes (the journeyman segment).
Do you think telemetry from other riders put you off ? I mean it is good for information and improvement but everybodys is good at different things. I sincerely believe you will come back on top
It’s really hard to compete when you’re riding a bike that hasn’t really been changed for almost 10 years. Plus that crossplane engine is obsolete now. If there’s anyone who could do it, it’s you.
Oh JR your aren't in a good place mentally, I can see it in your eyes. Just remember you are one of the best riders in the world or you wouldn't be there. That crash😬😬. You take care out there.
Like I said before , I thought you'd go to Honda and be ready for their v4 ... I'm sure it's harder away from Mr Riba . I'm hoping things will improve for you . Watch out for mind games .
Youre fans will always support you ALWAYS. Looks like you're lacking some self confidence atm and trying to make the best of a bad situation. Youre not a 6 x champion for nothing, if anyone can come back from this it's you Dream BELIEVE achieve
Wish you nothing but the best mate, but seems the move was a bad one compared to what Lowes is doing at Kawasaki as their new number 1 rider. Hope you figure it out. Nothing but love Johnny.
Evidently the bike is worse than what we all used to believe when we thought R1 was an easy one and Toprak made not a big, but a huge difference, managing to keep 2022-23 Bautista pace. However Locatelli (who obviously has more experience on the bike compared to Johnny) is more or less top5 material and I believe this gives the perfect picture of the bike level atm, nothing more, nothing less. It's on Johnny now trying to match Loka level.
@@adrianwolff2007 sure the horsepower. R1 has the worst on the whole grid, not a secret. However, like I said, it still seems a bike a good rider can bring into top 5 and I rate Johnny a superior rider compared to Loka.
