This helmet looks like a great deal with the new design of the modularity and the Cardo Bluetooth coming with it pre installed. The packaging and included backpack and sleeve is top tier. I have a LS2 stream full face helmet I’ve had with the last couple bikes. I’m about to get a vstrom and feel this will be a great helmet, tall wind screen and being able to ride with the front flipped to the back will be great for summer and around town! Great unboxing, great presentation, liked the dual angles. Look forward to your review! Thank you.
Both LS2 and Shark have the hinged chin strap. Because the swivel point is right over the ears, the helmet in my opinion, is a bit loud. I will say that both those brands are the ONLY helmets that fit my head properly. I get horrible hot spots with any other brand. In my opinion the LS2 is a slightly superior helmet to the Shark. The dark sun shade on the Shark is a slide on the top of the helmet and mine does leak when it rains. Hope you enjoy the helmet.
I just want to give a shout out to you for having a thoughtful solid opinion that could help some people make a decision on here that isn’t a bash. Appreciate it!
@@BONES714 Thank you. I just got one of these myself and so far it's awesome compared to the the Shoei RF-SR that I have. Even with the chip bar up, it is more solid and that chip strap is a godsend.
@@ariesmarsexpress haha glad I could help the strap is a little tricky but I don't knock it for that just something that takes a little getting use to.
I love the concept of the LS2 Advant X. However, after the 3rd ride. The sun visor stopped working. LS2 claims a 5 year warranty but only gives you 2 weeks from purchase to register. Dealing with LS2 on the warranty is horrible. Filed claim three weeks ago, and still no response.
Yeah not to mention I think they only offer warranty for European countries. I wasn’t aware of that during purchase. Mine is still functioning perfectly though.
I am looking at this helmet for its features (sun visor, 180 degree swivel, Cardo included) but I still do not understand why some manufacturers choose micrometric straps as opposed to a twin D-ring setup which is simpler and safer - I understand only twin-D helmets are allowed for racing.Still a gorgeous helmet for the price, thanks for the video ✌
Ok I’m not super well versed in helmets I’ve only had 3 so just from my knowledge I thought they were the only helmet that was able to that. Thanks for letting the people know theirs other options
I ended up getting the slimmer cheek pads and have a couple hundred miles under it now and I must say it’s been a huge upgrade over my Biltwell gringo. I don’t have anything else to compare it to but it’s been a very nice helmet for me
Thanks for the review. I think you just need to pull the magnet tab to release the neck strap, nothing exotic like pinching it a specific way. Should just be simple pull tab. :)
Glad I could help. Still haven’t quite figured the release strap fully yet. I’m sure it’s simple but like most things if you haven’t been shown it properly in person its hard to figure out.
I had to look that up as well. Seems to me that it just shaves a few extra grams off the weight. Other than that it’s just a slightly different design.
From the snaps on ur hat you don't have a double xl head I where a large I believe and I wear a hat with 3 of the snaps on a hat not used. Helmet needs to be tight.
I just ran my fingers all underneath the padding. The only wire I could see was the one that went from the LS 2 module that's on the outside of the helmet to the boom Mic
@@san6788 there is a female end of a usb c cable that comes from the inside of the helmet you shouldn't have to remove anything to access it but if you still can't find it I would remove the interior liner and check out what is going on in there you can always put the liner back in.
@@BONES714 I'm kind of afraid to move the interior liner because I have no idea how to put it back. I've been searching almost every day. I'm pretty much begging you, sir, please can you make a video explaining it to us? I can't be the only one who's having this problem.
This is one of the most WORTHLESS items in the History of Technology!!! I got this Helemet LS2 Advant X Carbon "which is an amazing Helemt LOVE IT", but unfortunately I bought it with the LS24X Intercom integrated, which is worth only if you ride ALONE and never want to share music and talk at the same time with others riders!!! Other $200 Amazon helmets "with intercom integrated" have a way better intercom and all of them offer the obvious functionality to talk and listen to music at the same time... PS; note that Cardo does not give assistance for this intercom, and LS2 has no idea how to help with this Bluetooth!!! SAD AND VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT MY PREVIOUS SHARK OF $250 HAS AN INTEGRATED WAY BETTER INTERCOM!!!
They all come w/ the smoked shield.
I'm interested in the Advant X Carbon but torn between that and the Shoei Neotec 2 (which is on sale right now).
Good to know that they come with the smoke shield it’s a nice addition to the helmet.

I Appreciate that Steve!
its $760 in Los Angeles
sweet! I'm going to buy it to have in my van
That would be the perfect asset to wear when you drive that baby!
If you pull the red magnetic thing it will unlock easier. 13:38
Thanks for the tip!
Thank you for sharing info and video about this ff906 helmet!!
Glad I could help!

I appreciate that!
You can open and close the rear vent as well.

Dont forget about Roof Helmets they have the same flip
Systerm, they've been around since 1993, i believe longer than ls2 helmets

Have the previous version advent x love that helmet 😊
Good choice!
Yeah it cost a bit more at the time but was worth it
What kind of sound and speakers does it have? im not seeing that anywhere.
They are JBL speakers. I haven’t ridden with it yet but they seem to be plenty loud and I haven’t maxed it out
Whats the diff with advant-x ?

I feel u bro about the lock of the helmet,hahaha...
I think I got it figured out now definitely easy just needed to understand how it works
Спасибо за обзор..как в дороге он,удобно в эксплуатации???.тоже заказал такой,)
Yeah super easy, this helmet has been a game changer for me.
Quality Review 🫡
Thank you I appreciate it!
Cam cardo mesh with non cardo devices?
I'm not sure on that I haven't had the opportunity to even ride my bike yet its still winter here
Was the helmet true to size
It’s fit my head pretty spot of the check pads were a little to tight so I ordered the slimmer ones which made it a much better fit.
@ thanks

That’s a custom ordered XXl SnapBack hat just so you’re aware.
how do you charge it ? please help lol
There is a usb c cable that comes from the inside of the helmet you can charge from.
