The world lost one of the true greats of architectural history when Zaha died. There are very few people in the world who truly warrant the word 'genius' - it is a word that is thrown around far too liberally. However, it is difficult to think of a more appropriate word to describe Zaha Hadid. Her paintings are so wonderful, I think they're even better than her actual buildings.
It bothers me that they won't give the credits to the composers whose music was used in the video. From 11:38 to 12:37 they play Metamorphosis, by Philip Glass, one of the greatest composers alive.
Hmm, I'm not sure I would consider Glass (as a 20th century composer) to be one the the true greats. As far a Minimalist composers go he is the most commercially successful but there are certainly better composers than him.
Kazimir Malevich was born in 1879 Kazimierz Malewicz to a Polish family, who settled near Kiev in Kiev Governorate of the Russian Empire during the *partitions of Poland. via Wikipedia The Partitions of Poland were three partitions of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth that took place toward the end of the 18th century and ended the existence of the state, resulting in the elimination of sovereign Poland and Lithuania for 123 years. also via W

“Modernism is always disrupted by revolutions”, modernism itself is a revolution against classicism, artists are crazy. 😂🤣

That last line before the video ends really hit me. it's so sad she didn't get to see the age of metaverse grow. RIP, my favorite architect.
