A great episode indeed. I have been wanting to understand what happens in CODE for a while and this was a great showcase. Thank you for making the episode.
Great stuff, Zaha is definitely a peculiar firm (In a good way), one of a kind and definitely ground breaking. More stuff like this for sure. Smaller more traditional firms with a twist would also be interesting to see as well.
The Thallus Product reminds me of those jarring and frustrating times trying to unwind and wind those Cassete tapes, they would make the same pattern within the container when unwinding.
Hi Olly ! It could be nice to make a tour about the architectural masters in London like DRL , emtech or something like that. In AA , Barttlet , Cambridge .
Hi Oliver, great interview with Shajay and well done production too. Do you have any information you can share on how to go about building digital twins applied to Architecture? Cheers, and keep up the good work.
Thanks, and great question although a bit tricky to answer as digital twin is still somewhat undefined, for example if you have a Revit/BIM model of a built project that is a digital twin. Otherways people are building a digital twin is building a model in Unreal and you start to link it to real world data which is visualized in the Unreal model.
Thanks Oliver, very kind of you. Using BIM tools such as ArchCAD, we can apply some IFCs properties to simulate e.g. the thermal characteristics of the building you are creating. I was wondering how you guys go about that? Many thanks for the work you are doing by the way.
What is Architecture?? I tell my kids’ if you can draw ✍️ you will never starve. Your dad’ could break my back…take the house and bank account!! I will still be ok!! All I have to do’ sit in a wheel chair on Market Street Sydney and show off my designs.. people will come to me’ Not because I am in a wheel chair BUT because they genuinely like my designs!! Now I may have to modify my original designs based on clients budget BUT that’s ok!! Not everyone is a movie 🎥 star who can afford PRADA designed 100k dress BUT the fact remains “if the house of PRADA” wanted to design $1000 dollar dresses for the mass market “they are most welcome” BUT the house of PRADA” chooses NOT to play in that segment!!!!

Actually these guys should know why architecture failed - it was due to COVID
How did COVID cause Architecture to fail?
That is not true you are simply recreating the same geometry by dressing it up SORRY but that has FAILED
I M SORRY BUT ARCHITECTURE HAS FAILED THESE GUYS ARE LIVING IN THE LANDS OF THE FARY'S GOOD LUCK
cry about it
