We have to realize these older stars are crippling their teams making 50+ millions per year when these younger stars are making less and leaving cap space for team building… this problem is even more compounded when you trade your assets to get the older stars also

Disagree!! They getting smoked because they don’t have quality centers and power forwards, or anyone off the bench that’s worth anything. A point guard doesn’t help their issues at all. A point guard isn’t rebounding, or defending the 4-5 positions. Beal booker and Durant don’t need a point guard , unless it was Ben Simmons. Ayton is missed. Their problems aren’t point guard issues.

Beal is a rhythm shooter. He went from the being the focal point to standing in the corner. Good luck maximizing him like that. It's not a true team. It is a group with a couple of great individual parts. If the parts don't fit, none of the rest matters.
How could you forget the Suns' humiliating playoff performances these last 3 years? 2021 - up 3-2 in the series and Devin Booker is trash talking Luca, then they just collapsed and lost game 5 by 27 and game 6 by 33. 2022 - they manage to even the Denver series 2-2 with 80% shooting from Devin Booker; then get boat-raced by Nuggets by 18 in game 5 and 25 in Game 6. KD was the Invisible Man in the concluding games. Then they come out and pratfall flat on their faces against the TImberwolves, never even in the series at all.

Booker, CP3, Ayton, Bridges, Cam Johnson, Payne, Crowder vs. Durant, Booker and Beal. One went to the finals, the other is out in the first round. Trading away all your depth for superstars isn't the play, clearly. Hopefully GMs realize this by now and stop trying to ruin their entire franchise's future by forming superteams.
