I was at the gas station and noticed a car full of belongings and a lady with her dog. I gave her $20 and she just started bawling and was extremely grateful. When I was in my 20’s I was homeless for 2 months and lived in my car. I know how it feels to be in that situation.

This is why being informed pays off. I see any financial market condition as a plethora to make wealth. I had my $80k diversified and it has grown by 3x in the past 7 months with compounding, venturing doesn’t necessarily boil down to funds but you also have to be informed, be patient and back it up with good guidance

I think another reason for homelessness is the breakdown of the basic family structure, no media outlets seem to be discussing this. Two things you could probably point to, Divorce and Domestic violence. Also, lack of societal support systems, other than ssi, church groups, Salvation Army. And a few others. Greedy landlords and landowners.

We Americans are weak. People don’t want to work anymore for a variety of reasons. They’d rather be homeless with the priorities being cigarettes, alcohol, illegal drugs, and gambling. Homelessness doesn’t happen by accident. It takes hard work and toughness to get a job and keep a job. Many Americans nowadays don’t have work ethic and have been spoiled their whole lives. It’s a rude awakening when they are too old to live at home and get kicked out.

And in Florida, they get ready to make a law to arrest people for sleeping on streets or in public parks. So by definition, they go to stop criminalizing the homeless because they're growing too much, but America don't have the empathy to really stop it. Or slow it down. Could we spend billions and billions of dollars in Ukraine and Israel? But you can't spend that money on your own. People that don't make sense to me, but it is what it is.

The Bible holds out the answer to all homelessness and poverty and we are becoming closer and closer to God’s timetable when he will stop the selfish governments and suffering and bring his Kingdom government over all the earth and after that everyone will have a decent place to live, enough food to eat and no sickness or death to contend with. See 2 Timothy 3:1-5 that helps prove we are living in what the Bible says are “the last days” of man’s rulership on this earth. Hang in there Christ Jesus died for mankind as a “ransom” to buy back perfect life that the first man, Adam, gave up, so there isn’t much more time left in this ungodly world before it is all gone. Matthew 20:28. This is the “good news” of God’s established “kingdom” government that Jesus said would be proclaimed in all the earth” and then the end of man’s rule will end. Employers: most of your employees are a paycheck away from homelessness so hire homeless who want to try and could become housed after a few paychecks.
Don't make laws that are cruel to homeless people. They can't disappear, that's not realistic, so make laws that eliminate how offensive they can be. You have to wash up, stay quiet, you have to pack out trash from your "camp site", etc.

Unhoused people should be allowed an area on the outskirts of towns to be set up. It would be better if bathrooms, showers, and wrap around services were also provided. The small, unhoused communities could then still have the opportunities to study, seek employment, and be stable enough to train for employment. They wouldn't be as economically isolated from the wider community then, and their self-esteem and self-worth would be much more likely to improve.

Look for solutions. We in Singapore, 80-90% live in flats and at least there is roof over our head. Our building technique revolve into Lego module construction. All modules for dining, living, toilet, store rooms prefabricated in nearby factories and delivered to building sites. Once housing available to the homeless, rents will drop and your streets will not be so unsightly. Every human deserves a concrete shelter. The homeless guys can be employed at building sites and earn a salary to pay the rent.

The government of India, many years ago and still going on, is making millions of small houses and toilets for all the unprivileged citizens in the rural areas, who are having a piece plot of land, through the Community and Rural Development Block Offices, follow-up until it is done. I also got one, I'm so grateful.
those who personally chose to live homelessly in the urban areas, who the heck will care? Urban Development Authority sometimes finds distressing with those problem makers.

The problem is American greed! When America allowed foreign investors to buy up properties here, they opened the flood gates to pricing folks out with over-inflated real estate and rental property prices! No need to build more “affordable properties”, just lower the prices of existing property and rentals-problem solved. Drug addiction and mental health is another problem. Americans love their drugs, guns and freedom too much to fix that😂😂. Regulate the mental health facilities so they’re actually working to solve the problems not just treat and release…

If I couldn't live with my younger son and grandson, I would be on the street quietly starving to death. It is absolutely reprehensible that this is happening in our country.

We have some support, and I work, but its nowhere near enough to get us out of a motel and into our own place. At least I made sure he'll never sidewalk sleep. Myself? I won't be dehumanized and kicked around. My wife passed last august, and my fear of death went with her. I'm not afraid to go into the woods and fade out. They would only starve, dehydrate, and push illness anyway.

The difference between communism/socialist and capitalist/democracy is that, China lifted up one billion people from poverty (Not Homeless). China doesn't have homeless people when traveling around all over the country looking for homeless for doc. Yet, the US ignited chronicle wars to make profits for 1% ONLY by indiscriminately slaughtering world citizens. China Leader Xi makes frequent visits each year to the poorest villages and makes sure they are fully sheltered, clothed, food in their mouths and children go to school. The US President Biden on vocations when encountered state emergencies.
The striking outcome makes the US lost their patient, tolerance and humanity to contain and attack China on all the front without any proper
cause and merit, collateral with the whole world's upheaval, no one gain, everyone loss that fits the US's inherently policies.
