- Lets build a small farm together. Can I get it done in 60 minutes?
I couldn't help but challenge myself to the small farm located on the North Eastern side of the map in Alma, Missouri US.
The challenge is simple. I don't pre-plan any of this. 60-minutes on the clock. You and I are along for the ride. EZ Dev ready to roll! I'll even thrown in an extra challenge... equipment buy and equipment tour.

Big farms with big equipment are great fun... But we can't forget about smaller farms around the world. Let the build begin.
I really like your farm builds. It would be a big help if you could let us know where you get some of your buildings that you use. For instance the cow barn used in this build. I'll be following you right along now.
@@albacon1648 absolutely. Thanks for commenting. The barns on the farm are from the Alma map. The cow barn is part of The American Husbandry set for all platforms by Lancyboi. I try very hard to do mods for all platforms when possible.
I had been playing on the small dairy by town, but saw this video and IMMEDIATELY started a new save on that farm using small equipment from the 50's and 60's.
Awesome! I like playing small farms sometimes and the field layout is really nice. A great 1950s map.
I love the small farm builds, gonna be one of my favorite types of playing styles

If you wanted an articulated tractor on this farm, just use the 2+2 tractor. It works great

I really appreciate it. Sometimes a smaller farm is more enjoyable to run. I tend to buy too much equipment in the game.
Another great speed build. I have be implementing some of the techniques you’re using on my Alma farm. Hopefully will start recording this weekend. Look forward to see what other farms you make and if you do one on the other farm with the cows.

If you do alfalfa on this small farm, I recommend using the 2280 John Deere swather. It'd go perfect with it

yup always on pc. never works on console, everytime you place something it creates the rocky mountains and more often than not the buildings are practically unuseable. level doesnt work lower doesnt work wish someone would come up with a mod for console that would help create a flat area so a farm could be built. till then guess im stuck with canned ham.
Really? That’s interesting. You aren’t able to turn off the auto leveling on console?
Dude love your videos would love to get an updated one on how to redo how to level and fix my farm my GF loves the house with the pool but I can’t set up the rest for tractor and combine storage I’m on console but love the Elk Ridge mod
Awesome, thanks for watching and commenting. You don't necessarily need the Elk Mountain kit. There are some really nice farm houses available fro console. Elk Mountain Modding did release a beautiful cabin house that is all platform and has great interior detail.
I was wondering what type of Mac you would need to play fs on I can’t afford a pc and would like something better then my Xbox if you could help out that would be great and I love the biuld and small farm theme
Giants has the recommended specs. But you know how that can go :-). I’m playing in a Mac Studio that I multitask gaming and actual work on. Candidly, you could probably get away with playing on one of the new Mac minis. But cost wise you are still looking a decent chunk of change and still need a monitor. Personally, I’d you are buying a computer just to play FS I would not recommend a Mac….. and I love Mac. It I think a pc would be your better choice.

I play on PC, what mod do you use to get more painting textures like gravel, concrete, dirt, etc.?
Hi. I was fortunate that No Man’s Land comes with these textures. I believe you can add them yourself via giants editor but I will admit I know very little about that application.
How do I get the extra hud where u cam delete trees and change field crops I’m on pc I’m just wondering

im on pc and u sed to delete trees to walk up to it clik it with mouse how is that coz when i do it i have to hit the delete buton on the keybord is this what u mean or do u have set up in keybine im not sure
Great call out. I completely forgot to mention that I mapped the delete button to my left mouse button. By default it's the delete button. But you can map it and that makes deleting trees so easy!

What’s the mod to move the spawn point of equipment?

I thought it was. But this kind was making me power shift gears.
@@WithTheStovers they offered a different kind of transmission on the early ones alongside the hydrostat. But you very rarely see those. I think it’s just something the modded put with iy
