Why no mention of Nia? I think the show has helped her most of all since she frequents the White House and has such a huge influence in so many different ways. That is pretty amazing!
I think it might be because Nia has used her fame and influence in a positive way, she has not caused a lot of problems for herself and her mum raised her to remain humble.
My two favourites are Nia and Chloe. I'm a mother and a grandmother and when I see the way that Kristy would look at her child when she was dancing it would melt my heart. Kristy was/is an amazing mother.

Agreed! I graduated high school at the end of 2007 and while some social media sites did exist, using them frequently and in the way they began to be used just a few years later was not common at all. I was fortunate enough to have a reasonably good run through school with minimal bullying, however the negative things I was exposed to online (like schoolyard drama being continued into the evening on MSN Chat, or my easy discovery of ProAna on Tumblr) was harmful enough. I honestly can’t comprehend how even “normal” kids and teens cope with stuff like social media today. Being on Dance Moms would have been an entirely different level…

I feel bad for them but some of them knew exactly what they were getting into when they joined dance Moms like JoJo, brynn And other cast members who joined the show later seasons.
They were children. They couldn't possibly understand all the intricacies and dynamics of being on a reality TV show or consent to that experience. Also, many of the truly sinister tidbits about the show didn't come to light until later (such as by this series, podcasts hosted by some of the moms, interviews with the girls, etc). It's possible that some kids just thought Abby was like that for the cameras but was better offline.
Exactly and tbh not everyone can handle the pressure of stardom which is why people need to think about this could effect their kids before joining a reality show
Someone should tell Brynn that it might actually be possible that someone dislikes her without the person being jealous. That's such an off-putting and condescending thing to say. When people don't like you or bully you, "they're just jealous" is what your mom says to make you feel better, not reality. Most of us realize that isn't true as we get older.
Right tho. Couldn't they people sharing photos of Brynn and her friends technically be charged with distributing CP? Not to mention if they could prove she shared it to "get back" at Brynn.
