- In this update I start on the Subway tunnels. I was hoping to get more done, however due to the design I am going for I will need to order in more parts.
I hope you enjoy the video.
Thanks for watching. - Розваги
Loving the colour choice for the subway, it’s definitely got that feel that Gotham used to be a higher class city but it’s become more run down as the years have gone by
Thanks Taylor, Getting the colours right is proving to be one of the challenges of this entire Gotham. Glad I finally found something that I was happy with.
Looks fantastic! It's a great color choice and It really gives the feel of an art deco NY subway. Definitely worth the money for those cylinder pieces.
Thank you @christianbrass6959, Took ages to find colours that I was happy with, but got there eventually.
Said it before but you really have mastered wall building, curved and straight with fantastic details. Great update.
Thank you Mike 🙏
I started following your channel for the Mandalore build and while I DID enjoy that one, I feel like this is much better and much more interesting. Great job on those walls and great commentary along the way!
Thank you @alweron, Much appreciated. Gotham certainly has endless options through out and is so much fun to create. It is always good to hear people are enjoying it.
Good job on your hard work on building I hope mr freeze is coming!
a million percent Mr Freeze will be in the city. He is one of the characters I am most excited about adding as well as Nora.
Interesting update as always. Lovely technique for the curved wall.
Thanks @davidfisher5507, Curved walls sure are a fun challenge. I want to try and find some other techniques as well, for the walls. Try and learn some new techniques.
Would love to see some easter eggs to more obscure villains throughout the city, a great suggestion would be proffesor pyg’s beauty parlour. The arkham games have some great concept art images that show the city and more obscure buildings. Amazing to watch the progress and seeing the city evolve❤
Thank you @jim5644 🙏. I have started playing Arkham Knight just to see the architecture and get inspiration for the city. Within 30 seconds of playing the game I had so many ideas of how to improve my vision for this Gotham. I will be putting a lot of easter eggs and stories into the city. Will keep Professor Pyg in mind, he is a cool looking character.
2 steps forward, 1 step back, 3 steps forward, 2 back, then 2 forward... gotta give you kudos for your tenacity 😂. Looks great, I really like how you made your curved subway walls. Very nice work my friend 👍😊.
Thanks Dion, my wife keeps telling me I need to get more steps in my daily routine.... wonder if these steps count? 🤔😂
Great video, I love the design for the subway and how you made it, especially the curved bits. Like always looking forward for more and I can’t wait. Gave video a huge like and keep up the great work.
Thanks @Lego-man123, As always much appreciated 🙏
@ No worries you deserve it
Looks amazing can’t wait for the next update
Thank you @hazardous3659, Good to hear. Have seen some bits this week which have hopefully given me some great inspiration for the next episode.
6:46 this music is greatnesses brah
Thanks @juansaladzar
Great update. Love this design
Thank you @yoloswagthuglifeselfie568, It took a while to get there, but got there eventually.
love that curved wall technique, hope the roofing won't be too difficult
Thank you @matthieudesormeau2169. I am not anticipating too many problems with the roof sections. As long as the weigh from above doesn't cause problems on the curves. I think that I have it pretty well built (famous last words 😂)
@@dubbzibricks haha !
you could try getting the secret door to swing from the top of the door. so it might fall back down on its own and should work in both directions.
I hadn't even thought about doing it that way. Good suggestion @bricktrooper540 👍
What would you recommend for budgeting on a huge project like this, and how do you organize it?
I have no idea how much of a budget would be needed for this Gotham. I hate to think of how much I have spent already. I am hoping that going forward the income I get from UA-cam will cover the majority of what I need to spend (doubt that will happen 😂). At the moment I am trying to place just one order per month for parts. I am making a few visits to the LEGO store for the PAB wall. Trying to design things that use parts from there is a good way of keeping the costs down. Not sure if I have answered your question there. If not, drop me an email and I will be happy to help.
