Welcome to my channel. My name is Dubbzi and I am an AFOL MOC Builder. I am a massive Lego and Star Wars fan.
I am going to be creating MOCs based on Star Wars, DC and more. I am also creating a custom Gotham LEGO City. The aim of the channel is to share my creations in a chilled and relaxed atmosphere, whilst showing the different building techniques I'm using and the thought processes I go through with the builds.
This channel is a clean and safe, family friendly place to enjoy LEGO content.
I have recently converted my garage into a LEGO studio and am rebuilding my Gotham City. I will be trying to upload twice a week. I am also building the TANTIVE IV from Star Wars a New Hope. This is going to be a massive vehicle measuring over 3 meters in length. This will be a monthly series.
I do put the occasional update on Instagram (will try and put more on in the future).

Thank you for the sub @mdsuen 🙏 . Much appreciated. It is such an awesome ship to make. Hope you enjoy the series
this is legendary!
Thank you@@ColossusCounsel 🙏 , It is such fun to build
@dubbzibricks I hope this channel gets over 1 million subscribers! You are the best!
can't wait for the full build minifigure TANTIVE 4!!!
It is going to be a fun journey and a challenging one getting to the full build @matmat6031.
Nice project. Keep it going
Thanks @Paul-yw4gk , Will do.... It is a great fun project.
Such a cool structure work with the docking rings, keep going!
Thank you @ex_66_Order, Really pleased with how they are coming along so far.
Wow! What a massive build Andy. The structure you need for it looks insane. Fantastic building techniques used! The details are amazing. This build is Champions League!!! 😊 Thanks for sharing this epic series with us. Can't wait for the next episode.
Thank you SOOOOOO much and for the donation @brickeridoo-builds-LEGO 🙏. Your generosity helps with the build so much and can't thank you enough for your support.
Bros bank account gonna be non-existent after this but this is just so amazing and i cannot wait to see the finished product
Thank you @Catbosske , It certainly is taking a pounding 😬😂
Impressive with the progress so far! Keep it up!
Thank you @zachfrickel, It is going to be a fun journey. Looking forward to starting the Engine section to give me a true feeling of the size of the ship.
Love that you’ve taken on such a crazy challenge. The interior looks amazing so far!
Thanks @robonut0357, I am hoping that it is one of those builds that people wish to spend hours staring at. I want to get as much detail into the build both internally and externally.
When i got back into Lego a couple of years ago the 2 things i always wanted to do was a massive Jabba's palace MOC, and a massive Tantive MOC.... Looks like it's going to save me a lot of time and money to live vicariously through you. Loved your Jabba MOC and look forward to every 1st of the month for an update in this series. I was thinking, not official Lego but a nicely placed mirror at a 45 degree angle would give the perfect view down the corridor to Leia and R2 just like in the film.
You should still do it @oddjob62. Jabba's Palace was an amazing project as is this Tantive. Totally different challenges but amazing fun.
Amazing moc. Cant wait to see the end. Cherry on the cake, if I can make a suggestion, should be some custom faces for the rebel trooper
Thank you @oddjob62 🙏, I am hoping that over the next year or so that Lego will start to produce more minifigures with the helmet strap on them. I tend to be a purist and only use official lego pieces. I would however much prefer to have different faces on the troops.
@@dubbzibricksyou could also add variety with one of the fleet trooper helmets if you wanted! In a New Hope and Rogue One you can see a couple fleet troopers with fully white helmets without that black trim. Couple be a good way to add variety and reference those guys!
Thank you for the idea@@JoliverGreed 🙏👍
#DubbziBricks. Wow this build is going to be huge and so incredibly detailed. I am not surprised that you are taking on a design challenge that even lego designers would never do. I love making UCS builds of things but your UCS build of this will be humongous and something that most lego builders could only imagine to build. I don't have those skills. But between this and Gotham and then the Onyx coming you make these feights of engineering and moc building so effortless. :0)
Thank you so much for the kind words @joshuakranz7384 . I am trying to step as far out of my comfort zone as possible with each MOC build series that I do. This one is certainly going to be testing the technical skills with the size, strength and shapes. Looking forward to the challenge.
I was looking for a technic parts set and I saw the Mobile crane MK II 42009 For a really good price. I don't know if I can trust it though. I'd Like your thoughts. As always, your builds are excellent and love the content. I'm just worried it's too good to be true.
Thank you @christianbrass6959, I just looked up the parts for set 42009. It looks like it has a really good selection of pieces. Especially on the axles and smooth technic beams etc. The only thing that it is lacking, which are important for the builds I am doing is the studded technic beams so that you can build off of them. Apart from that, it looks good. If the price is right and the seller is reputable it looks to be a good set to purchase.
Cool!
Thank you @EzBricks_ 🙏
This structure is technically and artistically amazing!
Thank you @droidbait_resurrected7585 , Much appreciated.
Ok. Next make a minifig scale Star Destroyer to accomodate the Tantive IV.
If I ever find a billionaire that wants to sponsor me and give me a warehouse to build it in, I would love to take that challenge on @ose_0065 😂
Jeez it's some size already Dubbzi. I'm so glad I'm restricted by the Besta unit. Really love the progress especially that corridor which looks epic. Loving every minute!
Thanks Mike, It is some weight as well 😂
Bro is on to something
It sure is a fun project
Wow! That is a big build. Excited to see how it progresses and thanks for making these videos! I have a Tantive IV hallway scene using five of the Lego sets on my white fireplace mantle below my TV but it is nothing compared to what you are doing.
Thanks @robertturner1308, It is such an iconic scene. I am so glad they brought that set out.
Did you get the dual molded legs off bricklink?
11ft haha Man this is EPIC!! Love this so much.
Thanks @cksbricks7791, Good to hear.
mad respect this moc looks unbelievable beatiful
Thank you @Nitrogamer_ . Unfortunately it was not that well received (views wise) on UA-cam, so it is nice to hear that you liked it. Much appreciated.
Do you only buy from Lego themselves or also Bricklink?
The majority of the parts I get are directly from LEGO, whether that is from the LEGO Store Pick a Brick wall or online. I do also use Bricklink. @BrickeridooAT a fellow UA-camr has an amazing store and has provided a brilliant service, so I do like to buy from him when I can.
Yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyeysyes. I have been waiting for someone to do something like this for WAY to long
Good to hear @Cyberbuildstudios, It is already an amazingly fun build. Hope you enjoy the series and it lives up to your expectations.
@ thanks! How long do you think the project may take? ( give your best guess)
@@Cyberbuildstudios will all depend on money. This build is a passion project that I am doing in the evenings when I have spare time. I reckon if it all went smoothly about 15 to 18 months. I am not setting any time deadlines on the build as I want it to be the best I can do. The more time I spend on the build, the more I want to build it.
@ that’s great! I completely get it. Take your take to make sure it is structurally stable and faithful to what we know about the cr-90 corvette.
11 ft is crazy
Yep @Slamdoxicalz 😂
Will you, after you finished this one, do a Consular? And if so, a basic one or a modified & upgraded one? YV-929 for the nose, YG-4210 & VCX-350 for the engines and the arquitens class 546 cruiser for the bridge section that might flow nicely into that YV-929 upgrade. Anyway happy building and till next time.
Thank you @rbleisem, The Consular is a sweet looking ship. I do have another ship that I really want to do after the Tantive and Onyx Cinder, so will see how this these go and then decide whether I tackle anymore ships. I am loving the challenge of doing this sort of build.
Im not joking when I say ur channel is exactly what I been looking for. Someone who builds SW mocs and shows the whole process. I really hope more people start following ur example and start showing this stuff on their videos. Surprisingly very little of it on the internet
Thank you @hoarder66, Always nice to hear that someone is enjoying the channel and content. Really appreciate the words 🙏
Ye nice and chill, and a return to simplicity.
Thanks @ 🙏
I think this format works better for very large scale builds like this, which most mocs are not. This is a long process build that has lots of opportunities while waiting for new parts in the mail, or while you gotta pause to rethink structural stuff, etc, to make a video commentary. A smaller 500 piece moc doesn't have as many chances to make entire wip videos
@@j0hn00 So true. It is nice being able to take my time on the build and have a good think about where I am going with each technical side of the build.
If u want duel molded legs for Captain Antilies u can use the legs from series 24 kohola guy. They r accurate so thats what I used😂
Thanks @hoarder66 , I will keep an eye out for one. I have a feeling there were some duel molded legs on the BAM station at the LEGO store the other day, but not sure if it was light or dark tan. Will have to have another look.
Stand wise it’s a question of how much structure do you want to put inside the model. You could make the model self supporting but I think this would need more reinforcement than if you built the stands into the model. As per the UCS type MOC I have you’ll need a stand under the engines as they’ll be a mass you won’t be able to counter balance
I am def going to be building it into the actual ship @cr4sh1. It is going to make it easier to work on, display and move. Also due to the shape of the ship I think, like you said, it would need some serious reinforcement to its 'skeleton' to stop it breaking on the stand. The Engines weight etc, it will be a case of experimenting as I go along. A fun challenge is ahead.
@@dubbzibricksare you going to make it modular along its length? I think you’ll need to as much for transportation. Based on that I could see you end up with 3 or 4 sections to the model.
@cr4sh1 it I'd definitely going to be modular. I am thinking four sections at the moment. The more sections the easier it will be to move
Finally caught, amazing progress. Wow, what a build totally epic, mate.
Thank you @BrickstagePass , It is getting there. Still a LONG way to go with just getting the layout finalised, let alone the height into the city that I am wanting to get. Will be fun
Awesome joker face
Thanks @BrickstagePass, It took a while to get it looking how I wanted it too, but got there in the end.
I'm catching up with these and what a project this is. Love how you are thinking of compacting and packing in detail. Similar to the problems I am facing. Great build, mate.
Thank you @BrickstagePass. How is your building coming along? Any videos in the pipeline??
@dubbzibricks possibly once Bricktastic, is out the way 😉
@@BrickstagePass I am coming over to Manchester on the Saturday. Will be good to meet you in person. Look forward to seeing your creation.
@dubbzibricks awesome, be nice to meet in person as well.
Ooooh, love it - definitely subbing this!
Thanks @markpowell7395 , Much appreciated. It is going to be a fun challenge building this awesome craft.
Was wondering if you have the "The Batman" batcave set so as to at least use a couple of elements from it such as stickers, computers and minifigures (that Gotham map sticker is excellent although probably not consistent with your layout 😂)
I did have that set @@matthieudesormeau2169 and parted it out. I used the stickers in my old Batcave so they can be re-used 👍
@@dubbzibricks the Wayne Terminus sticker is a must have for one of your next updates !
Great progress on Gotham. Love that you were able to incorporate your old bat symbol into the "old" Wayne Terminus. Can't wait for your next update!
Thanks @@alfredrising3247🙏
Nice work as always. But for that ramp I think you can use the bapod. The trumbler is to big for that ramp. But you can use it for the batcave. It's only a suggestion.
Thanks @@tiagotrindade662 🙏 , I am going to be making all custom vehicles as I don't want them to be any wider than 6 studs. Which will be a challenge in itself
I think you might want to take a look a the Jakku Quadjumper 75178, it has a feature that pops up two of its motors which could work for the front end
Thanks @@brandonsamano7428 🙏 . I have that set. It is going to be a case of having it so it can rotate as well as being detachable. It sure is going to be a fun challenge as the engine mounts have to hold the weights as well.
It took a lot of pieces to get there, but wow it was worth it. It looks incredible and I’m excited to see its final stages. The bat logo looks sick and really well designed. If you get a chance to, I’d love to see the inclusion of graffiti littering the walls and a play feature of hidden door, for Batman to enter the bat cave. But it’s completely understandable, if you don’t get around to doing it. Gave video a huge like and keep up the great work
Thank you @Lego-Man123, there will be hidden door ways etc for Bruce Wayne to get down to the Batcave. Graffiti is something that will also be added to the entire MOC. It will be easy enough to add, just need to get some coloured pieces that will enable me to do some interesting shapes etc
@ No worries, you deserve it. Sounds exciting and I can’t wait
Nice work, loved the update and how it’s starting to look. Definitely excited to see its continuation and your futures plans. Gave video a huge like and keep up the great work

Thanks @@juansaladzar 🙏 , Glad you like it
Love the progress as always! I'm just wondering which style Batmobile are you planning? It would be cool if you just made an original MOC remember this is your city not DC's or Hollywood's.
Thank you@@christianbrass6959 🙏 Will definitely be totally my own creation. Will need to be a different style to my Batcave one as it needs the clearance for the ramp.
I love how you lined up the ramp as close as possible over the train track.
Thanks@@tithund 🙏. I think it should look really cool once completed

Great update - was wondering if you would create secret / hidden / disguised entrances into and out of the Old Wayne Terminus / Batcave? For example, how the Batmobile exits onto the street of Gotham, up and around the side of the Wayne Tower building? - Could be a fake portacabin/construction hut/temporary one-storey building next to a large American-style New York-style dumpster, that would both be hollow on the inside - to allow the Batmobile to secretly drive through - and have an exit flap/hinged-side/hidden garage-door style secret exit on the side of the dumpster - leading out onto the street..? Similarly, for Batman on foot - could have concealed disused tunnels / sewers / ducts for him to appear from, out of the shadows..? As well as similar types of things for the various Bat-bikes and -pods - like, fake bushes the open like barn-doors or side open for him to emerge from? Also, if the bottom part of the Batmobile exit-ramp hinged upwards, you could build a little well - or, water-hole for the top part of a Bat-submarine to be - where you would have the entry-door (like on the top of a tank, the circular downward-door in the turret) implying the rest of the vehicle is submerged under water below, where Batman presses a button and the car-ramp lifts up, and he then has access to his hidden submarine underneath... and. he csn dash in and immediately leap into his sub? Cheers
Thank you@@dawsondavis664 🙏. They are some truly awesome ideas there. Really appreciate you taking the time to share them with me. I only had one idea so far (which was from another comment) for how to hide the entrance to Wayne Terminus. Your ideas really have given me something to think about. You're a star, thank you again🙂
