  • From time to time I have to go to Bolzano, Italy here in Alto Adige/Südtirol. Due to the interest on my Merano video that I uploaded recently, I'll be putting out a few videos on Bolzano too. Here's part one, and there will be more to come, and yes more videos showing my life in Italy.

      Hey, thank you ^_^
      It's not easy haha, I'm shocked I've been able to keep at it this long.
      It takes a lot of work and energy to make each of these videos.
      Good luck with your move to Italy!
      Have you already decided where you're going to move to?

      Rafael Di Furia yeah I am only 15 maybe in 6 yrs time I’ll move. Best advice I got from a guy that loved loved Italy he said to me if I don’t fully understand italian the best thing I can do is to move to like Rome northern Italy first, where the people speak alittle English and Italian and as I get better in Italian I can move more south where their is not much English speaking Italians.. I prefer to go south like Calabria and definetly Naples...I want to meet my dream italian girl!

    Been to Merano and Bolzano many times because my father lived there during WWII. My favorite place on earth is Merano. My husband and I are going to visit this year. Can’t wait. Have you done a video on Forst?

    No matter where you live these videos give someone an idea what everyday life is like and very useful information! Keep them coming, no one seems to just show everyday living and not just vacation tourist examples. Just going to a supermarket, post office ect helps future transplants with what to expect relative to your area. Thank you! D

      Thank you! Is is exactly what my channel is about, so many channels focus on only the “bella vita” or as I say the “pizza pasta and amore” and this is why I make my videos, to show what life is actually like and not the over romanticized tales of the country... even though there is something to them
      Thank you for coming to check out the video Darrell 😁

    Was in Bolzano with my wife & daughter from Australia in Sept/Oct 2018 on our way by train around Italy. Take the chair lift up to the German village in the mountains & have breakfast in the chalet. Fabulous food,fabulous scenery!

    Once travelled from Milan onto Munich. Train stopped in Bolzano where the staff changed. Also soldiers came around checking passports. The first time I saw snow November.

      Yeah it’s a common place for document checks as is right on one of the main migrant paths to go north... or even south. I’ve seen quite a few people get stopped at the station and they were asked for their papers.

      If I’m not mistaken it’s just slight south of Vilpiano/Vilpian but it’s too uncommon of a sight in Alto Adige, there are full villages up in the mountains too 😁

Great depth in your voice and good clean audio, it is great. I guess you have spoiled us with some great audio. Thanks very much for this one, can't wait for the next one!! -Joe

    Hey! I just noticed you guys have Aldi stores in Italy. I miss Aldi. I used to live in Illinois and I would shop at Aldi all the time. Well most of the time. We do not have Aldi in Puerto Rico. Shucks.

    • @RafaelDiFuria
      @RafaelDiFuria  5 років тому +1

      Wow I didn’t even know they had Aldi in America, must be new since I left.
      I used to go when the one here opened up... they advertise as being less expensive but I found them to be the same price if not more than some other stores here ... and with lower quality products.
      I’m curious as to what it’s like in the US.

    Your videos have such high quality. I wish you gain all the subscribers that you deserve. btw I spent two weeks for work in meran, so this video brings back memories. Not necessarily good ones, but this is a different story😂. I remember I was kinda surprised when I first arrived by train to Meran, looked around and immediately noticed most people were German looking or speaking. Definitely a mindf**k for an Italian. Not a problem at all, don't get me wrong, just a bit weird.

    Another great vlog, really enjoy your videos, but just some constructive feedback, the audio was all over the place. Perhaps use a hands-free kit so that the audio is consistent.

    • @RafaelDiFuria
      @RafaelDiFuria  5 років тому

      Thanks Mike, still ironing out the kinks.. part of the issue is that I was recording on my phone and none of my portable mics are compatible even with adapters.. I’m looking into other solutions, thanks for the feedback though, I agree with you, was trying to balance things a little in editing... but unfortunately if I made me louder, the background noise was also louder. The main problem is that my phone switches microphones when I switch from the regular camera to the front facing camera...

    Hey Rafael, would it be too boring to show how the Commune local office ( City hall ) works and what to expect when looking for filing of papers ect? just an idea....Thanks again.. D

    • @RafaelDiFuria
      @RafaelDiFuria  5 років тому +2

      That’s a fantastic idea!
      but I know they would never let me film inside and I don’t have the connects to make any special arrangements... but I’ll keep it in the back of my mind Incase an opportunity pops up

    • @RafaelDiFuria
      @RafaelDiFuria  Рік тому

      The best overall would be by car 😅
      I personally haven’t been between those two locations… but off the top of my head Id assume you’d probably have to change from a train to a bus in Roveretto or Trento… or get to Riva delGarda and then there’s probably a boat from there. But I might check Google or get in contact with a travel agent or tour agent there to see in bolzano if there are any private direct options to get you there.
