I really enjoy your videos. The only thing I would like is when you tell us what kind of lures to use. I wish you wouldn't show it so fast. Being a beginner I don't usually know what the set up is. But great show I really enjoy them.
@@billyjin2062 try putting a 1/16oz nail weight in it and punch it through the grass on 6lb test. Use a 7'6" hvy/fast and when they bite it, jack em up out of that grass on the top of the bottom surface in 8-10ft. Its killer in the winter when the grass is thick and green. Get back to me n let me know.
@@gregc2621 I tried my best but now I have a 2 oz tungsten that won't cycle correctly on my beretta. Pls advise, I feel like the 9mm bullet weight I have is messing with the action on my pad crasher
@@billyjin2062 dude, sameexact thing happened to me. Some amateur bass guy, Zell Rowland Martin was his name i think, told me you have to start by using the last 9mm weight in the *clip*, not the first. (Maybe I read that in a *magazine*, I can't remember) but anyway, use the 9mm bullet weight on the nose of the pad crasher with a 5.3:1 gear ratio piscifun reel, that way you get the speed to really get the momentum going to work the pad crasher through the lily's. The key is to use a light power, slow action 8ft rod when using the frog. The light power rod is so light weight, it allows you to really swing that thing quick to get that lure out there. And the slow action...well...SELF EXPLANITORY! it will allow you to work the bait very slow (slow action rod) working the bait with a fast gear ratio, like 5.3:1, and a slow action, creates a vortex effect that draws bass in better than the berkley maxscent general. Much like gravity. Jacob wheeler told me.
EVERYTHING you need to know about jig fishing, in 10 minutes?? lol......jig fishing is so complex: there are so many variable depending on time of year, type of cover, type of structure, etc. and so on , and all of it greatly affects choice of rod, reel, and especially what line you use, not to mention the myriad numbers of jig combinations and how THEY play a part in enticing a bite, depending greatly on the time of the season, and the water temperature....sorry, my friend, a well intentioned video, but you haven't scratched the surface.....
Chill Mr. Superiority Complex. It’s just a beginner video for people who are getting into jig fishing. Tips and tricks type of things with the basics. The NEED was all caps because they are just basics. You don’t need twenty types of jigs to catch fish; I’m sure after this video somebody could go catch a fish on the jig and that’s what the video is intended for. So this was a well intentioned video!
@@dinkhunter9982 go back and read my reply: I said it was well intentioned.......but his title was EVERYTHING you need to know, and that is simply not true....as for "superiority" complex: I have been taught by some of the best fisherman and several pros in my Geographic area, and after many many years of that, I am STILL LEARNING....so don't expect me to be happy with a byline that claims they will teach you everything you need to know in 10 minutes.....
That's cool to see fish caught without electronics finding them.
This guy has a natural video journalist voice and style. Great video
New motto, "find the grass, find the bass". Great vid

I used a jig today off the rocks at the damn I kept getting hung up in between the rocks. any tips?
Try a lighter jig
Use a football jig. When you get stuck, try popping the rod tip (quickly) up.
Go lighter it can get easier to pop out, but sometimes too big of rocks can just not be a great place for some jigs they'll keep hanging up
Thanks guys I appreciate it
