Totally agree with you derek it’s a very ignorant place we live in and ride in with absolute plumbs behind 98% of vehicles without concern except for themselves 😢
Looked a lovely day for it, the low sun is a menace this time of year though hey... as are them wet leaves! :-D Is always a good day when you make it home in one piece, even if the camera is being naughty! 😀
In my 53 years of motorcycling I’ve come to the conclusion that other road users , at least 90% haven’t a clue why motorcyclists position themselves on the road , reason they don’t read the road surface etc ahead of them . Stay safe 😊👍👍
The roundabout where you exclaimed "oh dear God" is always like that. St Albans. And the Hamilton block pass, just the same. The roundabout just before there is where my R80RT got written off a few years ago. Pedestrian and car aware, Southdown, Harpenden, lovely area. Guess where I live? 😅 The road that leads to Lemsford, Crooked Chimney pub is very dangerous because of the slow drivers forcing others to make mistakes in trying to overtake.
I got knocked over on Monday 25th, says she didn't see me because of the glare, bruised ribs and a damaged bike ,she's admitted it was her fault. Watch out gents they're out to injure you . Unbelievably careless
I saw two CVs illegally stopped adjacent to pedestrian crossings. The cage truck should not have stopped just past the crossing and the van was parked illegally by another crossing on the opposite side of the road..
@@Dereksol There was an incident near my old home in Dorset where an old chap had parked his car by a zebra crossing, and an approaching Tesco truck didn't see a toddler run across behind it. The results were as bad as you can imagine. The truck driver got sent to jail, and the car driver was fined £380. That's British justice for ya!
@richardsimpson3792 Richard that is a sad story. We just video what we see as we are traveling around. Some things make us gasp (like the chap crossing the road as the white Fiat overtook the line of cars). Most of these things just make Gillianthepillion and myself laugh at the stupidity of it all. I would never want to see an actual accident of any type. Thanks for the comment 😎👍
Just another journey on Uk roads, why the fuss? The Peter Perfects of course will use the Highway Code as bedtime reading but there is nothing in that handbook that refers to the normal everyday stresses of work, kids, illness, death, redundancies and the myriad of other issues that distract everyone every minute of every hour each and every day. Drivers pull out, everyone’s in a hurry and show little if any courtesy to other road users but why make a video? It’s just a part of living in the 21st century, get over it and get on with life. Is it really essential to pick fault at each and every opportunity rather than simply enjoying the opportunity to get out and enjoy the ride? Are we all really so dumb we need to be reminded of the obvious?
