My favorite too but I keep telling them to check out Liberate. Being rappers, I think Liberate would blow their mind. Legion of Monsters and meaning of life would probably be great for them too.

Agree. When it comes to artists/groups (all genres and eras), I typically go for the songs not so mainstream. Lynard skynard you think "sweet home alama", I like "Tuesdays gone" myself, or pink floyd "brick in the wall" I prefer "comfortably numb", Chris cornell in any of his bands he played I typically go for his acoustic versions.
Their track "The Game" is criminally underreacted to.
One of my fav songs by Disturbed is "The Light" Any of their older stuff is worth a look.
"Animal" is definitely worth a listen.
As I am a product of the 80s, I really appreciate guitar solos in songs. This IMHO is their best guitar solo among all their great tunes.

If you like songs that give you Soundgarden or Tool vibes, I definitely recommend Overburdened off Ten Thousand Fists. It might be my favorite Disturbed song, but not many people talk about it. It's a true epic IMO.
I love that one. “Pain Redefined” is a not so common badass song from them too.

This was their first single off of their third album: 10,000 Fists. It is an amazing album! Check out the song Overburdened from that album. It is a beautiful and powerful straight up rock ballad.

The abandon building in Stricken is the same building where they shot scenes for Nightmare on Elm Street. I believe.

This song was from their third album. Their second album Believe, David did a lot more vocal melodies and showed off his singing skills. Check out Disrturbed - Prayer.

Asylum, Warrior, the best ones lie, all great songs by disturbed. Definitely worth a listen. Love the channel fellas. Keep up the great work. Also he has another band called Device that's pretty good.

Not sure if anyone’s mentioned it, David is actually classically trained and not ok did they get the ok to do Sound of Silence from Simon and Garfunkel but they actually told David hold much they loved his cover💕Love watching your reactions, don’t think you can go wrong with too many of their songs…there are a few more covers out there but the man does no wrong!
Add in he was also a Cantor in the synagogue, if I am remembering correctly. I like their take on Land of Confusion if we're going to have fun with their covers.

I know this is years on now, but on the off chance you see this, you should definitely check out the acoustic version of this song, it hits so different. It's David with his brother Ben on piano, and the tone is haunting.

Am I the only one who hears a ton of Rob Halford's influence in Draiman's singing on this record? Like, obviously he doesn't sing in Halford's register but the rhythm, attitude and theatricality of Draiman's performance just screams "Halford" to me and its awesome. Also, I confess that I'm not a huge fan of Disturbed but the album this song comes from, Ten Thousand Fists is a goddamn masterpiece. I played the shit out of this record when it came out and I still play it start to finish once in awhile.

i have been to many shows now but I can say that the last one I seen was disturbed down with the sickness tour and it was the best and most fun I've had. so amazing.

I'd recommend the music video for Inside the Fire by Disturbed. It's a powerful song with an equally powerful meaning/message behind it.
Good stuff. Id say check out some of their less mainstream songs like The Curse and Facade and Rise. So many of their songs have some real meaningful themes behind them

Not sure if this is a breakup song but it’s one of MY breakup songs. I always say that if David Draiman stood in front of me and started singing, his voice would knock me over 😆 I saw them live a few years ago (with an ex, go figure)… man his voice is powerful! I found it amusing that he got the crowd chanting “we are disturbed” at the end of their set. I don’t know a lot of their songs but I do like the Vengeful One

I hate when the metal elitists like to shit on disturbed. They're a great band with a good singer and lots of hits. I listen to all metal and I still get down with disturbed and limp bizkit. Guess being a 90s kid let me have an open mind to everything that came before me and during my younger years with what was popular at the time.

Sorry for being 5 months late! Disturbed got me through my formative years and at one point was so important that they probably saved my life a few times. That being said.....I absolutely hate their music videos 😂😅 Prayer is my personal favorite, but Voices and Asylum are just crazy

Guys you talk about rappin. Go to the last track on their debut album The Sickness. It's call Dropping Plates. You'll hear that same delivery. Its wild and will blow you away. By the way Down with the Sickness(The Sickness) and Stricken(Ten Thousand Fists)were a decade apart

There’s a cover his brother does of this song on piano it’s an awesome cover as well check it out by Ben Draiman Stricken he sent the finished song to his brother and the rest of the guys in Disturbed for approval before releasing and they loved it

In all honesty, I picked up Disturbed’s very first album The Sickness in 2000. That was their best album and I can hear it over and over just like Slipknots self titled and System of a Down’s Toxicity album
It’s like opera metal man
