At 15:13, the command said they needed two helicopters. Why didn’t they land them on the interstate? when it was clearly shut down. I also don’t know where the LZ was or how far away it was, so maybe I’m wrong.
Why is this ridiculous? Most of the United States is rural. Unless you are an urban wrong dweller, us rural right are very satisfied with how we live our lives, to include limited emergency response entities.
Definitely riding along…felt like a kid thinking how long before we’re there?
Cool video!

14 miles? We're you a mutual aid on this call or we're you primary?
It is a dual response area for us so 2 EMS departments and 2 fire departments. So it’s considered our First due response area.
Oh ok. Well stay safe.
Didn't they have a closer medic to respond to that call? It seemed quite a distance for ya'll to travel to an accident
Yes they did this is a dual response area for us so two EMS departments and two fire departments are added for any interstate calls.
That's what I was thinking!
I dont think this squad was an ambulance.
This is ridiculous. No one closer?
Yes there was another agency closer however this is setup as a dual response area so we are added and is considered our first due
