😂 I knew right away you were referring to Thimble! For those of you reading this, I'm Thimble and Silo's human. Cuddles even looks a little like Thimble. I'm sure Cuddles will be great with time and patience! Thimble has become an incredibly sweet cuddle bug! In the beginning she would hiss and swat at us too, in part I think due to fealing insecure about a new home, but later it seemed it was her way of throwing a little tantrum when she wanted more attention. She is very sweet now and has the happiest tail I've ever seen on a cat. She wags her tail like crazy when she's happy. She puts it up in the air and then curls and swishes it all over, it is really cute.
Thanks for reminding me of the name of the first Spicy. I remember her so well. I am so glad Thimble found a home with you.😊😊

I noticed her pupils are smaller, which means she feels more relaxed than when she first came. She is quite beautiful.

Amazing progress by Mom Cuddles! Great job, Mr A! I guess DJ was right to choose an aspirational name for her. So sweet how she gets protective of the babies, literally holding them close. Good mama.
Is it just me or do the kittens have that slightly frosty-looking coat some kittens get when they are ill? I suppose that will change now that they are all sheltered and getting better nutrition.
It does look a bit "frosty" but maybe their fur will thicken a bit as they grow. Or they might just be very sleek shorthairs like dear Ari.

No, he is just very experienced at fostering mom cats and kittens and his wife, which is also involved with the cats f kittens, is an MD, and they have an excellent veterinarian who has a cat-only practice.
Also, it is never too late to go back to school. I knew a guy in undergrad who was a retiree of the local city government and had gone back to school to get his BA then went off to law school. He was over 60. So it is never too late, as long as you are on this side of the green earth.
@@Rosarium2007 Well, they do an excellent job!!! Makes me envious. Lol. Now it's a bittersweet moment since our cat, Clyde is gone missing and he's a tabby mix with Manecoon. His channel seriously is thearapy right now for my kids. 😭😭
@@Rosarium2007 I have seriously thought about it, but our 5th child is two right now, and timing is my enemy at the moment unfortunately.
Even better, his vet is named Dr Cats (not sure the spelling, but that's how it's pronounced)
Have they been sexed yet? I notice Mr. A. is referring to all of them as "he"? Did I miss something or are they still of undetermed sex? So glad Cuddles was rescued from living in a cold garage!
As of today, Mr A thinks that Cashmere and Marshmallow are boys, Pajamas a girl, and Hot Chocolate is still unknown. It's sometimes difficult to tell sexes at this age!
@@megalina12 Thanks for the update! I have never had to sex a kitten, most of my cats have come to me as foundlings or from a shelter. Funny story though, I had a pet goose I rescued as a gosling way back in 1997. He was a domestic white chinese breed. I was convinced it was a girl and named her Marilyn Meringue. haha
4 months later to my shock a goose penis popped out against my arm while carrying "her." Waterfowl are one of a few bird species that actually have a penis. I was so shocked, it took me several weeks to readjust my perception of him. I also changed his name to "Marwyn"! lol Marwyn passed away at at 22.5 years old a few years ago. My best buddy for all those years! My cat now is coming up on 18 this summer and he is still in robust health. I'm lucky to have had so many long lived pets over the years!

Mr A tends to call all kittens "he". Even when he knows that they are girls. As of today, Mr A has decided that Hot Chocolate is a girl. So 2 boys & 2 girls.
Mr A, you need a gopro you can wear on your forehead
"I'll always be wearing a glove." Always being about 24 more hours. Cuddles loves pets and Mr. A can pet her without a glove. She warmed up so fast.
