Kept all setting on medium and dlss quality and it runs good. Even with a high spec system I'm using , I don't want to push the settings past medium. I bought a 8800 GTX in 2006 to prepare for Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl release in 2007. 1 of NVIDIA first graphics card that required a 450 watt psu. Stalker 2 released in a way better condition than I remember Stalker 1 did.
That's great! you sounded skeptical in your vid. to me it feels like a from the ground up remake more than i sequel, and i mean that in the best possible way!
@WHIKKEDD totally understand, I tried replaying it when they released it on PS5 but couldn't do it, and I'm glad actually. Can you believe I beat the original on a laptop with a touch pad mouse 🤣
My pc is a rtx 2080 super with i9 9900k and 32gb of ram. Im hoping my pc can run it decently well as it runs all new games pretty well. I need to upgrade it but im hoping itll do for now
It's good I got 2080 super and i79700k been able to hold 1440p around 50 to 60 fps for most of it occasional dips but totally playable drop a few things to medium like sky shader shadows etc dlss performance balanced or quality test each see what's best for your setup. Weird thing I turned frame Gen on and somehow it's working on my 2080 super I thought only 30 or 40 series cards could use it but some how it's functional little more input lag with it on but it jumps frames up to 85 to 125 plus so weird
It's probably not CPU bound unless you're in towns with lots of npc's on a 3060 with a 5800x3d unless they are running at 1080p with DLSS and low settings. It would depend on the resolution and upscaling used. The 3060 isn't exactly a powerhouse of a card.
It's definitely not a masterpiece so those who say don't know what they're saying. It has a lot of issues and not quite game of the year worthy even though it came late and now we see why.
i play at 5120x2880 and this game is beautiful on my lg c2 48 - mostly medium settings with textures on epic. dlss balanced, i could slip back to performance for a few extra frames but i like where i'm at especially considering i know the game is going to get optimization/perf. updates. the bugs are annoying, and i've shelved it for now, but after a few patches i am diving right back into the scary ass wasteland of chornobyl!
I ran the game on low. The game is not well optimized. My GPU is a 3070. It randomly lags. There is tons of pop up. This doesn't happen in any other game such as COD and First Descendant. Bad game. Trash.
im going to guess that epic and high have RT shadows and occlusion and its hitting people's systems. I have a 1080ti and im sure with the right tweaks It will well. FSR/Xess are your friend, DLSS is lame and keeps all that load on the GPU instead of off loading the upscaling work to the CPU. also playing at a good resolution. I found with cyberpunk that 2160 x1200 looked better than 4k and I get a solid 70FPS on average on ultra and some mods to improve optimizations. I will definitely start by using medium settings when its done downloading
I have a 2080 Ti and a 2080 super and the performance overhead on DLSS is identical to FSR in most games if not slightly less and always less than xess while having considerably better image stability than both FSR or XESS at the same internal render resolution. Have you actually used an rtx card? All the mentioned upscalers use the GPU for upscaling, not the CPU. Also sub 1440p resolution looks better than 4k? You may need your eyes tested.

Great video man! And also a huge congrats on 200 subs!!!
Thanks a ton! And I owe you a lot for putting in the right path!
played the game for like, an hour maybe, and i’m HOOKED

@@applerskee yeah im loving it! my video was more about the reviews than anything
@@WHIKKEDD that's good. You never played the OG?
@@applerskee nope, planned on it before the game came out but got too caught up in moving and work ;/

Nice video dude, you got the exact same parts as me so thanks for the reference. Happy hunting Stalker
No prob bro. Thanks for watching 🙏
Good to hear. Im planning on playing this on 306012gb on 1440p with dlss

It's CPU bound. May as well play on high.

@Smokinjoewhite it's CPU bound. It's heavily CPU bound. Every card is CPU bottlenecked.

Fix Ai aim bots and skynet vision fix a life 2 to function then like a few small things to me a life and stealth needs the biggest work

What CPU do you have?

Just don't use any upscale like a real Chad
