    Finally, truth to this truck! I’m a Toyota dude however, I have always said the ZR2 with front and rear lockers is a game changer! Great job!! Look forward to customizations!

      @g4yrut Рік тому +1

      Is it though? You could buy a truck for less than half this price, add lockers and tires, and call it a day.

    • @espd50
      @espd50 Рік тому +2

      Very true, I was just comparing to what is new on the market. It is an expensive truck.

    • @g4yrut
      @g4yrut Рік тому

      @@espd50 it definitely is, and I think manufacturers are missing the mark. Personally, if I’m buying a truck with dual lockers, I want to wheel it. And I don’t want to wheel a $75k vehicle.

      @espd50 Рік тому

      @@g4yrut Agree, most of these expensive off-road trucks never even see dirt. I’m looking at building an older Landcruiser or Jeep Rubicon for wheeling. I recently sold my 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail that I enjoyed for 10 years and still sold for almost what I paid for it. Crazy times!

    Awesome truck! I'm a Toyota fan but I'd take that over a Tundra TRD Pro.

  • @carisbrookefinefurniturean5653

    I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. Rides great, plenty of power, tires do surprisingly well in snow/wintry icey mix here in Maine, and it looks bad-ass. I've got zero to complain about. Added a bedrug full bed liner and Truxedo X15 pro tonneau. Nicest truck I've ever had by a longshot!

    Ram Power Wagon also has front and rear electronic locking diffs...and a swaybar disconnect if I remember right.

    • @keewatin427
      @keewatin427 Рік тому +2

      It does. It’s honestly a much more hard core off roader, with its dual solid axels, but it’s also an HD truck, weighing 7000lbs. The Silverado ZR2 is a true half ton and is only 5600lbs. I guess it’s up to what you need in an off roading truck. With the PW you can tow and haul so much more and it’s off road gear is much more durable. But if you’re not needing so much hauling power or bed length, the ZR2 is the Goldilocks zone. That’s why I got mine. It’ll haul more than a midsize, with way, way more interior comfort, but isn’t as long as a Ram PW, or as wide as the Raptor or TRX

    • @g4yrut
      @g4yrut Рік тому +2

      The ZR2 and Powerwagon have nearly identical payload and towing capacities…

    • @keewatin427
      @keewatin427 Рік тому +1

      @@g4yrut only because the PW uses off road struts. If you add an Airbag levelling system to the rear, you can readjust the hight to level off and use the Heavy duty 2500 frame to it's fullest. If you did the same thing to the ZR2 you would only increase the payload slightly, as its a half ton 1500 frame. Does that help?
