I think the real hot mess is portable hybrid meeting streaming. That's where stationary, 6 figure integrated studios are so great. What we need is a NEW "mobile" solution designed and built from scratch. Combine Tricaster software tech with BlackMagic Design tech and Apple Silicon tech and RODE audio software tech and ____ at an affordable for the masses price point. LOL You get the idea.
I definitely agree there's a huge need for hybrid setups. One of the videos I did a while back was all about the "missing" atem which included a virtual caller unit. Tricaster (who owns NDI) and Blackmagic would probably never partner up sadly. I think you're more likely to see a Rode join in the mix down the line but even still, they've got their own streaming hardware with the Rode Streamer X so it's hard to say they'd want to compete in the higher end realm - they're more of a prosumer target whereas Blackmagic is both cinema/broadcast and prosumer.
@@zephanmoses I wonder about a video featuring you and a few other select people in a panel style chat about what an ideal whole new system would look like. Call it "Getting IN The Box" Promoting it on your and their sites ... or not.
@@claytonmoore2091 I dig it! Have to find the time. Lots of my videos are recorded and figured out a few months in advance and product promos push some of those back even further. It’s also tough coordinating schedules when many of us work full time and we’re in various time zones.
