Make sure your wheels rolls easily too.
Beginner's tip, if you're not used to work with thinned mud, always start with 1 flat on the ceiling, then do your walls, fill it back up, finish you room's ceiling then start in your next room's walls. This will make you never start walling with a fully loaded box and keep you from spilling mud when you start your walls.
Next tip, after initial adjustment, once your blade has worn out, adjust it once more, once it's worn out, flip it upside down, once it's worn out, adjust it one last time, then you change your blade. Blades are cheap, fresh blades always work better.

How do you create that concave shape for the blade? Anything past #2 on the dial and the edges of my blade are swinging away from the wall

How do I make sure I don’t have any bubbles after running the box? Follow with knife and pan?

You just pass by the seam twice. First time to fill it up and just go over it again and it gets rid of most of the bubbles or all
