Ford super duty squeaky interior 101: the clips that holds the door panels breaks and allow the panels to grind plastic to metal and make that horrible noise.
Flex seal to the rescue!!!
Not sure exactly which years it covers but my 2014 has squeaky rear doors. The fix is to replace the door strikers with the ones for a F150.
the door panels in these trucks slide on do you mean the plastic slides rub and squeak?
The Dash does the same thing. Chasing squeaks is irritating
that sun roof helps a lot with light on the camera when it's open

I've got a new piece coming to replace it. lol it had been a long 14 hour day working on the miata. I wasn't going to install it at all. Then I ran the wires. Then I was like might as well mount the switch really quick. Checked behind the piece and there was room to install it. Okay cool, drill hole 1, realize it's too close to the side. triple check hole 2. Realize theres some webbing the switch hits and doesn't go in fully. I was like wtf man this is why I don't rush things.
Legit sounds like a 12 valve optimal welding knows his shit everyone ive heard speak of him only has good things to say about his work

6.7 powerstroke is actually the first 6.7 built by ford and it doesn't have any of the issues the old powerstrokes had. Actually a really reliable engine.

I'd imagine the "12v" sounding tune is just the injectors single shot mode, as opposed to the multi shot pattern that most more modern diesels use to eliminate noise
Can’t he put a 12 valve exhaust manifold on it or something to sound more like a 12 valve? I forget if that’s a normal swap or not.
Have no clue what that means but it's pretty freaking cool that by just changing something it can change the way it sounds so drastically like that!
Joseph Samsor it’s called a second gen manifold. Changes the location of the turbo
@@josephsamsor1698 exactly what 5_9gingerguy said the famous "second gen swap" is just the style manifold guys use for turbo position on later model truck and will slightly change the note of the exhaust

Ive always wanted a diesel truck , but could never afford one that’s not going to leave me stranded after a few weeks of owning it because I didn’t pay enough for one that hasn’t been beat on .. I just bought a 96 f350 with a 7.3 that’s been sitting in a field for a year and a half off a buddy and I’m trying to get her back up and running but I’m hitting so many road blocks and honestly have no idea what I’m doing .. if I ever somehow manage to get it back up and running , I’ll damn sure be just as excited (though I’m doubting I’ll ever get to that point unfortunately) .. congratulations brother , enjoy the hell out of that sweet ass , comfortable , COLD, ride 😜

Honestly your best project yet. The journey with your Miata was awesome but this just another level, like you said building a race is somewhat easy but doing a swap like this for a daily with all the goodies. And you can say what you want but a "big" diesel engine and turbo spool is just a sound you cant get enough.

I remember the same feeling when I tuned my 1995 7.3 cc drw thing was dummy slow but then I slapped a six position chip and it had new generation power and dumped a shit ton of coal.. also here’s a little tip with your sunroof I would blow your drain tubes out because they can become clogged and cause leaking into the cab or cause rust.. my dad has a 2010 f250 Harley Davidson edition and it happened to him

Banks has had a 6 position tuner for 15 years. I remember putting it in my friends 2004 when he only had it for about a week, his clutch lasted 1 day after the 6 gun install.
Because of bad tunes or because your friend couldn’t keep his foot off the loud pedal and couldn’t quit turning the knob constantly?
