Rakemaster was impressive. You got the dirt out of rootball which makes clean up much easier. Nice machine and attachment that can be moved with just a pickup and trailer.
Tim is really onto to something with that claw/rake attachment. As soon as you see it pulling up roots it is obvious it is going to dig into the ground much easier than any bucket. If they added a saw tooth and chamfer to the leading edge of the forward rake/claw it would cut through roots like they were not there. This could be a tree clearer's dream attachment. I wonder if Chris has seen this video?
Great video on the RakeMaster . That Privit is tenacious wherever it appears, and the root system has got to be removed to prevent it's regrowth , the Rake seems to be the ticket. I understand this was done at your place as a product review and test , but have been meaning to ask , ..any recomended videos on the yard landscaping being done following the damage incurred dropping some of these large trees ? trees? Any local companies hired by your clients to do the yard/lawn repair on You Tube ? I'd be interested in watching some of that.
Great video Tim, I love watching you ripping stuff up cause it really looked a lot better and you can see the nicer tree's out there..Have a great day Tim and a big thank's for sharing this ..Take care out there..
Got the tale end of the live feed. Your Dad is a few years older then me and I can see and feel the frustration with you describing the crap that went on. I could write a book on a 2 year old machine that stays at the shop in Tuscalossa more than it’s been used here. Great video warming up the hydraulics on the Mini X !
Also too since you use yours out in the woods a lot they do offer the Steel tracks for your machine size as well, I figure you already did your homework on it but I thought what the heck I would throw it out there. Mine we use in concrete work 80 % of the time so Rubber for us at this juncture is it for us. Great video as always bud.
That claw is one wild boar brush eating hog. Holy smackers Andy. The view from the camera on the equipment is far better than the remote view in most cases. Rock on dude. And yes, I am a subscriber. Thanks for the ride along.
Interesting to see the way it grabs the roots and clears them out of the way in one grab. Excellent piece of equipment and worth the money if you do much land clearing.
The Rakemaster grapple pulled up those trees and brush like weeds!!!Too bad I don't have anything like that needing doing-The RakeMaster Claw and Mini would be the choice tools for the job!
WAY TO GO TIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TEARING SMALL TREES UP without disturbing very LITTLE DIRT IS AMAZING SMALL BRUSH TOO YOU DO A SUPER JOB WITH THOSE NEW ATTACHMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder how this would work for breaking up compacted clay soil with rocks? I need an attachment for my skid steer to tackle the task but can’t seem to find the right attachment.
I enjoy watching your videos and was impressed with the rake claw. I purchased the Kubota U55-4, currently waiting on a tumb from Gentec. I was leaning towards rack vlaw with serrated teeth to grip larger stuff. Can he customize his rake.
That is one wicked piece of equipment. Have you asked your crew if they would mind doing an interview so that we can all become more familiar with them. I feel like it would add to the enjoyment of your logging videos
Man that thing just flat works! If I ever end up with a mini, It will be tops on the accessory list! I'd like to enter for the cap too, You've got my e-mail, but if you don't feel like looking it up, just let me know here and I'll get it to you!
Another fella on here let’s dig I believe it’s the name his buddy and him did a comparison of the two 12,000 lbs excavator that Kubota vs Takeuchi so I watched it because we already had a tb240 then I was in the market for a slightly bigger machine that didn’t bounce so much working of the side of the tracks, in the end they were basically identical so because of price difference I bought the TB60 and buddy I absolutely love it, it puts me above the license that I had but upgraded back to a CDL-A license so I could move the Machine from job site to job site, but I am in the market for a good Root/rake that will work with the Thumb on my machine so depending on price and weight I am asking your opinion on the price and weight points was it cost at a right price vs. worth it. It sure looks great
The only thing is I got a enclosed cab with heat/air conditioning w/ a stereo that has Bluetooth so I hook my mini I-pad up to suction cups and watch videos and what ever everyday while moving concrete wether tearing out or loading, my son calls it the gravy job loll
Me , being an old fart , remembers when a huge track hoe didn't have the power to even move itself really . That Kubota is amazing all around and has more ass to it than the old 590 John Deere , and I'm betting it will work circles around it ! Thanks Tim , catch ya on the nextn 👍 ❤️

This is a great piece of equipment, It makes clearing brush real easy, it also helps to have a good operator.
Lovin the claw, very impressed with its ability to pull mainly the roots and not alot of dirt..definitely has its place in excavator world.
That is a very useful tool! I have a tip i learned from someone clearing my property. Reach up and snap those taller trees in half then dig them up.
Have to agree, as much clearing as Chris does on his channel, he needs a claw like that.
Definitely agree #jerryknoell

Merry Christmas. Thanks for all the great videos this year.

The Rakemaster grapple pulled up those trees and brush like weeds!!!Too bad I don't have anything like that needing doing-The RakeMaster Claw and Mini would be the choice tools for the job!

That’s a lot of work done very quickly. Now the next problem is to get rid of that amount of branches and stump. A motor shredder ?
You should check out the Blue Line Land Works brush rake. No intermediate bracing and a little bit wider.
I can see where that attachment will come in real handy on some of the jobs you do. Keep up the great videos
Love the claw cottontop I would love t hat to text me at 9122661271 brother
That rake is much better than a bucket in that small stuff, gem of a tool!
I wonder how this would work for breaking up compacted clay soil with rocks? I need an attachment for my skid steer to tackle the task but can’t seem to find the right attachment.
Boy I’m liking that rake I might need one would be curious what changes there going to make on it thanks Napa mike
It would be a good set up using the rake to rip out cattails around the edge of a pond.

That is a great tool for your excavator. It just plays with those trees.
Another fella on here let’s dig I believe it’s the name his buddy and him did a comparison of the two 12,000 lbs excavator that Kubota vs Takeuchi so I watched it because we already had a tb240 then I was in the market for a slightly bigger machine that didn’t bounce so much working of the side of the tracks, in the end they were basically identical so because of price difference I bought the TB60 and buddy I absolutely love it, it puts me above the license that I had but upgraded back to a CDL-A license so I could move the Machine from job site to job site, but I am in the market for a good Root/rake that will work with the Thumb on my machine so depending on price and weight I am asking your opinion on the price and weight points was it cost at a right price vs. worth it. You can get them for a lot bigger machine than a 250.
Those little mini diggers sure have replaced a lot of hand labor! -Bob...
Mr Tim our you sure that it's legal to have that much fun lol. I would be having a ball doing that!
Must say that rake really works well. But let me ask you this, how well does it work on pine trees?? And I'm a new subscriber
Good looking cap and great video as always
When is the drawing for the Kubota?
The only thing is I got a enclosed cab with heat/air conditioning w/ a stereo that has Bluetooth so I hook my mini I-pad up to suction cups and watch videos and what ever everyday while moving concrete wether tearing out or loading, my son calls it the gravy job loll

IDigit4 has one similar but made in Mass and he seems to love it and he works in that nasty crap found on the coast of SC
