Maul's lightsaber collection was more desirable in my opinion.
He had his double-bladed lightsaber, which was totally bad-ass, and he bested the mandalorians for their dark saber, which was the most unique lightsaber in the universe.
Not that it matters, but he also had customized enquisitor sabers, and cane saber.
Grevious only had stock standard Jedi sabers, usually taken from unremarkable, unworthy Jedi knights.
He's just jealous that he'll never have as good a collection as me

Obi-Wan ran just as much lol. If you actually go back n' watch, you'll find Grievous was mostly always dominant in saber combat, and actually won a couple times. While the times that Grievous ran, it was because of a desperate force push on Obi-Wan's end.

One of grevous' things though is intimidation, and I don't see that working on maul which is a bit of a disadvantage.

@@jacobgale4792 Not even close lol, Maul used the force and immediately took Grevious out of the fight. Maul, while surrounded by Magna Guards, moves fast enough to pin Grevious against the wall. Maul regularly defeated or overpowered Obi-Wan whereas Grevious got his ass beat by Obi-Wan nearly every encounter they ever had. Maul is among the most skilled Sith Lords ever, and he never even finished his training.
When you realize how op Greivous would've been if he developed force sensitivity, like Dooku hoped he would.
He probably could've if he retaind his peoples spirituality, being a cyborg probably doesn't effect force powers. I can just imagen how horrifing force greivous would've been.
Side note: the canceled Battle Front 3 would've went with a "What if....?" Senario, such as dark side luke, ahsoka, and obi-wan, light side vader, and jedi master pre-cybernitics greivous. Oh what could've been....

@@amarqzm5082 oh, I doubt that. Even in canon, Obi-Wan defeated Maul as a Padawan, but beat Grievous in a much more protracted, dangerous, and life-threatening duel while he was at the peak of his power as a Master and Grievous was in an injured state after the Battle of Coruscant.

I like to imagine Grievous would win in a 1v1 with maul.
He already has beaten Maul once already via forfeit. Their rematch was more so a stalemate since Maul landed a force push while Grievous was distracted, then ran to his mother for protection. But Grievous instantly came back n' skewered his mother.
I think Maul’s combat style with his double saber would make him to stiff to fight Grievous who is an unorthodox fighter and uses random attacks

I'm not gonan try and wank grievous like I normally do here but I always see that as crazy lmao ppl say Maul would decimate Grievous whereas when they fought Grievous was shown to be Superior in the first duel, the second time they met Maul caught him off guard and the final time they fought they were on Dathomir which basically Amps up all darkside users and Maul won that by BFR Grievous but not besting him in a duel since he was off guard

We all talk about Anikan and Padme's love story and how sad it was. But I want one for Greivous, starting from the war leading up to Dooku and Palpatine betraying him and turning him into a cyborg
What I find crazy is how drastically underpowered everybody thinks general grievous is when in reality he was one of the best Jedi killers out there
Well that is because Lucas wanted a Saturday morning cartoon villain (god knows why) and therefore he isn't allowed to win anything during clone wars and annoyingly enough him being reasonable and retreating when he is at a disadvantage (e.g. always) seems like a weakness, because the "heroes" don't ever do that, and instead of getting themselves killed, bulldoze through every impossible situation with copious amounts of plot armor.

Stop it. That's not what the man is saying. You're proving his statement true. Grievous has beaten Kenobi like four times, twice within seconds. Disarmed & knocked out Ahsoka within seconds. Held his own against Yoda with but a single lightsaber. Put Depa Billaba into a coma. Forced Maul into a forfeit twice. Stalemated Kit Fisto. Defeated Shaak Ti. He's tanked lightsaber strikes & explosions to the face. He's tanked force attacks from Yoda of all characters. General Grievous in canon is not weak, period.

@@OkIPullUp2915 Perhaps I should go into detail. Maul tackled Grievous when he was shielding his eyes from an explosion. Later on, they were both distracted by Sidious's and Talzin's standoff and Maul stopped being distracted first and Force pushed Grievous while he was still watching them.

Chapter I: Camping Trip
This story happened to me during early 2018. My friend Matthew asked If I wanted to go camping on friday. I had nothing to do on the weekends so I said sure. When friday finally came Matthew's mom drove us to the forest and we set up the two tents. The campfire was about to burn out so me and Matthew decided to get some sticks.
Chapter II: Ghost Of The Forest
While collecting sticks Matthew ran away screaming I was confused so I chased after him. We managed to get back to the camp and his mom asked "Why were you screaming?". Matthew claimed he saw a ghost lady wearing a black dress, had really pale skin and red eyes. I didn't believe him because I didn't see the ghost and Matthews mom said "This is why I told you not to play these stupid horror games. Now look what happened.". Luckily I managed to grab enough sticks for the campfire so we immedietly forgot about the ghost situation and started roasting marshmellows.
Chapter III: Forest Nightmare
After we ran out of Marshmellows we decided to call it a night and sleep but while sleeping I had this dream where I was in the same forest but it was covered in snow. After looking around for a bit I saw the same ghost Matthew had seen so I ran around trying to avoid that ghost and after running for a long time I slipped on what looked like a frozen lake and something caught my eye but I couldn't tell what it was. I went closer on the ice making sure I wouldn't slip and after getting a closer look I saw a garbage bag. I was confused but then I woke up.
Chapter IV: Ghost In A Bag
I woke up really early about 5 AM or 6 AM and Matthew and his mom were still asleep. I was thirsty so I decided to go to the lake nearby to drink some water but I saw a garbage bag wash by the shore of the lake I thought "Who the hell throws garbage in the lake?" so I decided to check what it was but it smelled horrible. I opened it anyway and I found a mutilated body and a severed head of what looked like the ghost in my dream. I ran back to the camp and told Matthew's mom about it.
Chapter V: The Horrible Truth
We went back to Matthew's house and we called the police. They arrived quickly and we showed them the garbage bag and they managed to arrest the killer. Turns out the ghost's real name is "Lucy" and she was happily married to her killer but it wasn't happy for long. Lucy suffered through Domestic Violence and one night her husband accidently killed her. The scumbag didn't want to go to jail so he cut her body up, put the remains in a garbage bag and dumped it in the lake.
Mauls life would have ended early because there is no way in hell he is beating grevious

Part of me does wish that Grevious stayed as the murder machine he was introduced as in his original outing, before being nerfed heavily by his moustache twirling antics.
Murder bot Grevious was genuinely terrifying in how brutal his efficiency was in combat. If Obi-Wan was to best that version, I'd imagine it'd be the most tense victory he ever got, as Grevious would be looking for the most efficient way to end the fight. Even with his injury from Mace still being canon!
