I was waiting for this!! Spiffing Video MrB! Lovely to see both the RTR P&D and the Nottinghamshire Band of the Royal Engineers in London! Well done to all the members of RTR Past and Present!

Fabulous! A 28 year American Tank Veteran applauds. Well done.

    "Grandioso", lovely march.

Fantastic Video, Thank You Mr B! This weekend seems to be Full of Firsts for Me. The Nottingham Band of The Royal Engineers are Great, a good play list of Marches too & they played them Brilliantly. "Nimrod" always gets the Eyes filling up. The "Farewell to Gibraltar" was Spine Tingling, Superb!

I’m late getting here, having been prompted by MrB so that I may have an opportunity to watch and listen to another rendition of “Grandioso” Wow! Better late than never! What a turnout! Were it not for good folk like MrB posting on UA-cam I wouldn’t have a clue such events take place, never see anything about them on national TV😏 This is a solemn occasion, marked with due reverence by all the participants here. The music played is wonderful, the band, led by their imposing and smart Drum Major, had some lovely marches (including “Grandioso” of course) with the pipes adding that extra special element which is simply fabulous. Thank you everso much for this video👍

Thank you so much for the trouble you have taken to film and share this. For those of us who are no longer regular visitors to the capital, your kindness in sharing is greatly appreciated. God bless you and long may you continue.

November 19th is the Memorial Day of the Battle of Cambrai for all United Kingdom and Commonwealth Countries Armoured Corps , being the first major battle in WW1 using vast numbers of Tanks, some 750.Most Uk and Commonwealth members wear Black Berets and are known as the "Black Hats" fraternity. How do I know, I am a past member of the Australian Armoured Corps.

Excellent film of an event that I had not been aware of, until finding this on the internet. I saw the Northern Band of the Royal Engineers, several years ago at a Buxton Military Tattoo. They were good then, but now they must be one of the Premier Bands of the Reserve Army and are a credit to it. Well Done!.

Can remember8RTR regiments I was in the 8th

Is that spurs that the band are wearing? Wouldnt have thought that the royal engineers or tankers would have needed horses anytime previous? My grandad was in the royal engineers and was one of the last to leave dunkirk from the port after being involved in the blowing of bridges to slow down the german advance. My mum said he was black with dirt and slept for 3 days solid when he came home. He was later demobbed and spent the rest of the war working in devonport dockyard. RIP and respect to all those tankers commemorated here.

    Awesome

This is not Remembrance Sunday the Royal Tank Regiment always march on Cambrai day which is the day tanks were used on mass during WW1. Also I am pretty sure it’s the band of the Royal Armoured Corp having marched with them a few times as most regiments no longer have their own bands.

  • @NancyCampbell-rk9rm

Why did those guys have Poppy wreaths and not place them at the Cenotaph?

  • @terryjeisman7550

    Black tank suits?

  • @mervwhitney7229

Thank you Mr Baton. Excellent marching and deportment by both the band and the Veterans

  • @geoffmitchell6515
