Thanks so much! Great playing, really clear and thorough explanation/demonstration of the capabilities of this pedal. One feature you missed is that this pedal also includes what Fulltone describes as: “An Internal Trimmer allows for adjustment of Clipping Symmetry, Harmonics, and Tracking” The Fulltone 69 MKIi is an incredibly well designed and versatile pedal.
Totally agree with everything thing you said. The 69 mkii is one of my favorite fuzzes I own. I also have the 70 bc108 v2 which is also great for some later Hendrix tones.
That's one Great sounding fuzz! The only fulltone pedal I have is the deja vibe and it sounds amazing. It's the custom shop mdv mkii version. Great video as always!
I have the 70s and for whatever reason it is scratchy changing volume and gets better radio reception than my car. But when it is dialed in it is great.
Great demo as always! You get great tones and the pedal chat is always a good time. As much as I’ve tried, I’ve never found a Fuzz Face that I’ve truly fallen in love with. That includes a Fulltone 70, among many many others over the years. My current is the JHS Three Series Fuzz, which I mostly keep around because the bias knob gets me some cool sounds, but it’s still not a “gotta have it” kind of pedal. Ever try a Jordan Buzz Tone? Or a Rover Fuzz by Animals Pedals? Two really great classic sounding fuzz pedals, between both of them I get what I always kind of wished my FFs would give me.
I haven’t played those! I’ll have to try them out. I tend to like the early classics. I actually love Big Muffs, but every time I turn one on it immediately becomes a “I wish I were Dave Gilmour” fest
Oh me too, that’s my favorite fuzz circuit of all time. My go to is the Vick Audio V1 Triangle, but I have the Keeley Moon Fuzz too and that’s really cool in its own way. It was nice someone finally did something imaginative with the op-amp version instead of yet another straight clone with a tone bypass switch like so many other builders.
This is my fav fuzz. It can be a bit dark. It cleans up with guitar volume really well. It can also vary in fuzz output when its in a hot place. The input knob is great for dialing in your guitar volume to work dynamically with fuzz amount. With contour at noon you can pretty much do a classic rock show with this and your volume knob. It screams with the wah. I bought a lot of fuzzes and even built a few of the classics, but this is the only one that lives in the chain - right after the wah. I have the Queen Bee fulltone fuzz as well. That one is much more fuzz, but doesn't clean up in the same way.
So this is what smoking Willie's Reserve feels like just before you assume the fetal position on the floor. No wait.. wait.. this is what his herb sounds like.
They are. A friend of mine has a little bit of an obscure pedal brand that didn’t really succeed in The Carolinas. He outsourced construction to a company that handles the assembly and base paint for many boutique pedal brands. They helped him tweak the circuitry and took meetings over Skype and telephone (IIRC). They courted him by demonstrating that they were mass producers for other pedal brands.
Great review. I have ordered one today. Wanted to have one for a long time. Fortunately now they are back in business !

At first I was content with just one, but now I realize, I also need the 70

I had a silicon fuzz face that picked up ESPN radio. Play Hendrix and listen to the Yankees play at the same time.
Hey! "Top-Wrap" tail Les Paul! My preference, as well. I like my Fulltone '60 MkII, too- mine's a more crimson red one with the black knobs.

Ramble FX Twin Bender ended my search in that vicinity.

Ultimate Fuzz Face, with all the issues that come with Germanium?
Zvex FAT Fuzz Factory.
Great pedal, but very temp sensitive.
Can u demo some fuzz pedals with the fender 59 bassman?
Indeed I can!
Jack you need to demo that Kustom amp behind you
I have! ua-cam.com/video/MKrFWV3JboY/v-deo.html
Love it
I always liked this pedal. Wish I had not sold my big box version. 😕
Ah that’s too bad - I think those go for big money nowadays right?
First in the row on my pedalboard....
Нету у нас такой фирмы-вот вы и сами знаете!

I believe all construction of Wampler pedals is outsourced.
