- Today we are going to look at Hobbi yarns & website. Hobbii, located in Copenhagen, is the one-stop shop for yarn lovers around the world!
We're going to take a real crocheters look at Hobbi yarn. No fluff, just my unqualified opinion of this beautiful yarn that was provided by hobby. Hobbies website is full of free patterns can you guys to check out. But you’re here to hear about the yarn! Their yarn selection is amazing, so I was like a kid in a candy shop. But I didn't even realize, all the yarns I picked out were acrylic. Color & texture catches my eye first. So don't kill me.

Omg, I laughed so hard at your intro, because that is exactly what happens at my house. "Is that new yarn again?" I'm like "No Honey, this is from my stash." I always hope when UPS comes that my husband won't be home 😂

You are too funny!!! Thank you for making me get over my guilt of ordering more yarn last week. If I hadn't placed a recent order I do believe that Hobbi yarn would have found a place on my shelf or in the trunk of my car. I'm alone but I still feel anguish in ordering yarn. Hobbi ....thx for the review. I hope you can write it off for your awesome business.

Relatable hahaha. when i buy new yarn I requested the seller to write 'Congratulations you won the raffle' on the package before shipping it to me so no suspicion of buying new yarn. Btw didn't know Hobbii yarns have mixed colors, they're gorgeous

Hobbii is pretty much the only place I buy yarn since I found the website. It's fairly cheap (and who doesn't love some cheap yarn?), they offer bulk buying and it's what's most accessible where I'm from. I'm always super happy with the stuff I order and the few patterns I've tried from their site are nice! Gotta say the intro is waaaay too relatable, too, haha
That intro is pure gold! My family has promised not to intervene with my addiction until I start putting yarn in THEIR closets! I love Hobbii. Their Cookie yarn is one of my favorites, so I 'm always looking for sales on it.

Omgosh! That Carnival yarn is soooooo SEXY! I found a similar yarn in a bulky 5 and the "halo" does cause problems when you need to frog but, the end product is well worth it. Thanks for this video, Hon. I always appreciate good yarn info. You, Crystal at Bag O Day, and Ola Joe never let me down.

The intro is so relatable, I usually hide it under my desk.. Already have a giant drawer, two big shoppers and the space underneath the coffee table filled with yarn, but if it's pretty, I need it. 🌈

What a fun video and timely too with their big sale. I love working with the Carnival yarns too. Recently I bought Hobbii Megga Bowl for a sweater pattern I wanted to try. It is amazing for a low cost acrylic yarn.
I wanted to try that out. It was soo tempting!

I LOVE... LOOOOOOOVE Hobbii yarn. And carnival??? One of my faves. I love roving yarns anyway but the color ways on Carnival are scrumptious! And the sheen. I've done cowls and scarves for gifts with it and wow. Horizons is nice. I like cookie a lot and winterglow.... another great one. Don't even get me going on the gorgeous cotton kings cakes and their other cotton cakes. Wow

What a great intro. I also hold it up to my husband's nose and say smell it. I love yarn esp. wool yarn. I needle felt too and it's 💕💕💕💕
You were so funny. I laughed. A great introduction. 👍🏼Remind me of myself. Hiding yarn, fabric. Hobbii has some nice yarn. What you have to watch out are the grams. My first order was surprised how small the balls were. I only order my favorites. The shipping($7.50) was cheap compared to domestic. Since pandemic, they raised their shipping, but still a great price. Great review. 🤗👍🏼
I've learned that yarns purchased in America are so much larger. A normal skein of yarn for the rest of the world is only 50g!

This is so funny. I am currently obsessed with their yarn. The first time I ordered from them I didn't understand the yarn is weighted different than the U.S. so I've never used that yarn, it was only last year. But this year I ordered a bunch of the carnival yarn to make my sister a pretty throw for her couch. Kinda a slinky stitch for a look at piece. I can't wait until after I get all my current orders finished. I have even told people custom orders are on hold until future notice. Thanks for your reviews. I just subscribed to your channel!!

Just found your channel. My first order from Hobbii was for Carnival. I can't use animal fibers due to allergies. I got colorways Trinidad and Mazatlan. LOVE, LOVE THEM. Just takes patience and practice. Hobbii will be my go-to yarn store now.

I work in the frame shop at Michaels so I litterly keep my yarn I just got in the car under a sweatshirt until its "safe" to bring it into the house!!! 🤣

Yes, Hobbii has so many beautiful yarns. Most of what I've bought have been Universe and Metallico. I have a few Carnival colors but what I liked most was out of stock. I, too, have a yarn habit that I have to get under control.

❤ Sometimes I really wonder if we're the same person 😄 I stumbled upon Hobbi a few weeks ago while searching for mercerized cotton. I've never had a shopping cart get to the point I get a "does your husband know how much is in your cart?" notification! Ok, maybe it was just a little voice in my noggin!

This is why I hate ordering from Michael's.
Our local store is about an hour away and they don't always have everything. So I always look online first. Many times I am told "you can order this item but its not available from this store"
I place my order and they send me one or two things a day later, then it could be a week before they finish sending the yarn! (Don't send it on Tuesday, hubby is home Tuesdays!) And then some I don't get until a month later and even worse is when they already sent a partcial order then cancel the rest ☠
I already started my project and I needed ALL that yarn and now I only have enough to get to row 14???? Dang...

I didn't say what ply it was, i'm not sure. But the yarns I choose were light worsted weight & worsted weight.
