Pausing the game was pretty easy, you just use the match.freezescreen() function. Pausing the music on the other hand is unfortunately impossible atm with Fraytools. So I had to come up with a work around where I replaced the stage music with the cutscene audio by putting it in the "bgm" channel. Then when the cutscene ends, I just play some generic Hotel Mario music for the rest of the match since I can't turn the original music back on.
How did you pause the game and music while the assist was active?

@@Whimz I have another question
how did you make it so the "hotel mario frames" were always the same size of the screen?
