Hi there, I have a P19, and wonder how hard it is to right the boat single handed after a capsize. I have a righting bag and pole but have not used them single handed. I only weigh about 160, and I suspect that that is marginal. I usually sail in SF bay, so I play it safe and only sail with crew. I guess I just have to try it out on a lake somewhere with help at hand if I can't do it. Anyway, thanks for posting, this is a great video!
Lance, you are on Beach-cats right? I am AFVENOM there and just bought two Nacra 5.8's and will take one with me when I visit family in Ventura County, let's get together... Grew up at CI Harbor
While looking at the leeward pontoon submarining at around 5:50, I wondered: Is that a common hazard on these boats?
I see you reaching for the point there!
I never really cared for the P16 but damn the 19's are nice

You should be fine with a righting bag and pole combo. I use just a bag and weigh 190. A pole would make a big difference.
