Would love to see more interval cycling from you guys - I have major back issues that prevent me from doing most cardio, but this video showed me that I can push myself quite hard on my recumbent stationary. Just started working out last week (and quit smoking 2 weeks ago today), so I'm really appreciating all of the beginner stuff you guys have on your channel. Keep up the good work!

Just done this on a wattbike in the gym. It was brilliant, and not at all boring. I cycle a lot, and had found the wattbike really, really tedious, and that annoyed me as I knew that it was some indoor cardio that I could do that would benefit my cycling. So the discovery of this workout video was very welcome indeed. Yet another excellent fitnessblender video that will be regularly featuring in my workout routines. Many thanks, guys!
First training video! THAT was a workout! It made me realize how much I'm NOT working the stationary bike at the gym. Still learning the gears on my mtn bike which I have indoors on a trainer for the winter.

It's called a bicycle training stand. I put road slicks on my mountain bike. Knobby tires will work, but ti's best to use finner treads like road tires or slicks.

high Nicola I can only speak for myself but I could care less what others are doing around me in the gym and I dare say thats with most of the people think. When I do notice a large person or unfit skinny person in the gym I have nothing but admiration for them and I would say 99% of the others would feel the same way. Ive never had anyone come up to me or my friend's and say look at that person and mock them because they would be the subject of ridicule as we all started out some where. Remember the one's who mock dont matter but the one's who do not mock are the ones who matter.
The slowing down used to be really bad for HIIT sessions on a treadmill. The best way to do HIIT is with a rope, by running, bike o functional exercises, as burpees. I also recommend you the Tabata protocol ;)

I never knew you could turn a bike into a stationary bike like that. How do you do that? I could never buy exercise equipment bc one I can’t lift it and two I couldn’t put it together and three I don’t have the room for a big treadmill. How do you turn a bike into a stationary like in this video??
Hello! great video thanks. . . my bike is a Exerpeutic Folding Magnetic Upright Bike with Pulse, and by looking at where the pedals are located I don't think I can ride it standing up. Do u have any suggestions about what can I do that? I don't want to spend more money on another type of bike. :(
Ive been doing stationary bike in the gym, at least everytime i go to the gym, which is around 4-5 times a week. I do about 30 minutes at 100 RPM at 8 intensity. I decided to increase the time so i went to 40 minutes, and it was 18 km, and little over 600 calories. I am wondering to do the same again today, is it good if i train that much? Or do i have to decrease with a day or two?
I am trying to being a workout routine will this help me loose my muffin top or help me get use to it since I am starting to work out when do I know to make my routine more difficult
