You know what is the most motivating part of any vlog?! Definitely, when you set the camera in one place and go work and do your thing for whatever time you want and we see the progress. After every single vlog you do that in it. I jumped right out of the couch and do something I put off for so long
Love you guys to the moon! You stay away from the political garbage and you aren't always pushing the "buy, buy, buy" all the new gadgets, nor do you push the doom and gloom worlds coming to an end stuff. I think we all know how terrible things are, but y'all keep smiling, keep praying, and just doing what you do and sharing it all. Much love to you and God Bless!
Couldn't have said it better!!! I love this family like they're my own family even though I've never met them in person. They are just good, salt of the earth people raising a great family!❤
i LOVE THAT TRUCK. For the very first time, I saw that beautiful rusty vintage farm truck. I never noticed it before and I have been watching yall since you were traveling in the RV. I love that truck. Clearly, you see it as an eyesore and trash. I don't see it that way at all. I would so very much be preserving and including that truck into the property landscape. I LOVE THAT TRUCK. I know it is kitchy and does not do anything toward the permaculture, but I don't care, I LOVE THAT TRUCK. And again, ILOVE THAT TRUCK.
My #1 homesteading channel.....Meg, hope youre doing well and had a blast at your baby shower at Bri's w the "girls". One question.....do u only have 1 child in there? Tyler and Jack cerainly are evidence you can handle more. Blessings!
We had a lizard just like that in our house! They are such interesting creatures. The green house is going to be awesome. Just look how the potatoes and volunteer tomatoes are growing in there.
My uncle always planted on June first for area and state line Indiana was his area. I sure miss not being able too go too my grandmother's farm anymore, the girls all sold it. The farm is what saved their lives DURING the depression my dad and uncle hunted till they got enough for everyone, and yes mothers family and all their families. Those were the good old days no arguing just love all around us.
"I don't know how big of little hills I'm going to make....???...That was almost English". I was listening to the video while cleaning in the kitchen and I just cracked up laughing. Love getting to know your family like "friends that have never met"
Miss seeing and hearing buggy !! love your videos love watching the boys work with you !! Meg is a wonderful homemaker and cook !! what a great family !!!
Hey guys! Meg, that stew looked amazing! So rich and hearty..I'm sure it was delicious! Each time I watch y'all I think is there anything these guys can't do?! Lol I love your videos and you have such sweet kiddos
Wow, your starts look very happy! The garden is looking great! Cute Skink! I like the fire on the fire ants! Yay, the duck can eat the "goodies". She's beautiful! Love that rototiller is great! That GreenStalk is doing really well that you planted in the greenhouse! Those three rows with your tarps down look great on the other side of the walkway in the greenhouse too! Wow, bread and donuts Meg! Dinner, that beef stew looks fantastic! I'm glad you're waiting to plant some stuff because of the late frosts. Things are already growing well! Thanks for this video Hollar family!
I can honestly say that I never miss one of your videos. I find all of them interesting and you make us feel like part of the family. I can't wait to meet the newest blessing. Love to the Hollars❤
Thanks for sharing; good idea with the landscape fabric in the greenhouse! Yummy looking cooking & donuts! Blessings & good health & well-being to all🤗🇨🇦
That sure was a happy duck! I wasn't hungry till I saw the stew and then those darn glazed doughnuts, WOW!! Haven't seen Millie lately, I do miss her. The greenhouse is a feast for your eyes.
That clicking sound makes me smile, I grew up up on a 108 acre dairy farm and that’s the sound when something is touching the electric fence, thats when as kids we walk the fence line looking for the problem
Ben, as always another interesting fun video and Meg those donuts yum and the beef stew with homemade biscuits oh my. Reminds me of my mother-in-law when we came to visit she always made loosy meat ( her homemade canned beef with gravy) mashed potatoes, her green beans and her homemade biscuits with her homemade strawberry freezer jam we were all in heaven oh yeah her apple pie for dessert. Blessings to you and the family. 😊🇺🇲
Garden looks Fabulous. I came home 22nd from 16 days in the hospital. Spring flowers are up. Not as much as yours. We're 26° tonight. Still sunny. 7:53pm Meg, you're looking great. Bri was sharing about how much you were all talking and laughing at your baby shower. Sweet time with the girls. Praying with you and baby and family. GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU. GREAT WORKING TOGETHER IN THE GARDEN. SE MICHIGAN ❤❤❤❤❤
The gardens are so beautiful. I can smell it from here, sweet peas, paper whites, strawberries, it is turning into everything I thought it would. Thank you for making our country so lovely. With all that fluctuating weather and temperatures, hearty donuts and stew is perfect for the immune system. Keep your necks warm too. Pathogens like to congregate at the back of the neck.
Love the dinner and doughnuts yummmmm. I don't know how meg does it all but she is supreme in the kitchen and everything she touches. The green house looking fabulous and those plants are gorgeous. There will be some good eating there! Blessings and keep on keeping on! 😃😃😃
All your veggies are looking good! Looks like your pear tree has lots of little pears coming along too!🍐 Yummy doughnuts from scratch!!! And delicious beef stew!! Little baby Hollar will be here very, very soon!! Rest much sweet Meg❤
It is always wonderful to see your family working together! Really takes me back to yesteryear! Thanks again for a great video. ❤️👏🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 Dozen roses for Meg!
How sweet of you...a dozen roses for Meg!!❤ And this year's Mother's Day in May will be mighty special for Meg since she will have a new little Hollar bundle of joy! Here's to a Happy Mother's Day Meg!💐❤
Can't recall if you said the surprise tomatoes in the potatoes came from compost or previous plants in that area, but we've learned that yes, compost that didn't get hot enough means weed seeds sometimes, BUT it can also mean 10 tomato seedlings around a young maple tree 😊! Blessings!
The end of winter & the early spring weather here in Michigan our weather has run very parallel to yours. 10-15 degrees different maybe but stormy rain, wind, warming up whenever you had the same. Just not normal for MI. Many days it appeared nice until you stepped outdoors. I would have to dash back inside for another layer maybe a hoodie to protect from the wind. It's very hard to plan a garden & get good growth. We have had to protect it from frost, even hail once or twice. Very strange crazy spring. Our winter was not typical either. Praise God we have not had the devastation some states have had. He has kept us safe, to God be the Glory.
Hi guys love your watching your family beautiful 😊 I always smile when I see your video pop up. I just love watching you guys. I can’t wait till when the baby comes when I see your video. I asked myself what is Meg gonna make for dinner? I love watching her. Make her bread, make dinners, canned things whatever she does. I just really enjoy watching and learn.❤ donuts oh my God it looks so good😊mmmmm love stew I could just love living with y’all lol having all that homemade food wow Meg is awesome😊
I got ready to plant tomatoes this last season. And realize all of the weeds in the bins were tomatoes from last year I probably had five hundred of them, I sent them replanted and transplanted, and gave away a ton. They were the best tomatoes ever
It's still cold here but the temperature skyrockets in mid June and then all the cool-loving plants like spinach bolt. So I do take plant things early and cover it at night if necessary. They are forecasting -2C tomorrow night.
I love watching all the life come forth. We are about 4-5 weeks from planting outside here in Minnesota. Seeds started last weekend and tomatoes already popping up!
Watching your garden grow is one of my favorite things, considering where I live along the Continental Divide in CO, we can have snow and frost at any point in the spring and summer. So hard to grow at 8,000ft!
Ben, there will never ever ever be enough duck cam 🦆 🦆 🦆 more duckies always 🪿🪿🪿

WELL SAID!
EXACTLY!!
Couldn't have said it better!!! I love this family like they're my own family even though I've never met them in person. They are just good, salt of the earth people raising a great family!❤
Right ? That’s why I 💖💖them so much. Thank you for putting it into words . I have TBI & have trouble putting the right words out there .👵🏻👩🌾❣️
Nailed it! Take care!😀
poor Ben! our RELAXATION is when Meg edits up the 2 min timelapse of his hours and hours of tilling!!!

🐰🐰
Loved the duck cam! She was very happy!
Show room add on, baby come soon, I have been anxiously waiting to see progress on it. Thank you.
For two people who said they were going to take it easy this growing season…. This looks the opposite - and thoroughly beautiful!
😊😂
Fresh, clean air after a rain just means the post nasal ongoing drip stops from pollen accumulation.😊
All those glorious vegs growing. I am jealous, I can’t even think about planting flowers until the end of May here Zone 5.
I love ALL The Hollar Homestead videos!

Good evening Hollar family 💜
Hello, you lovely Hollars!
That Maple tree is STUNNING!!
Starting at about 9:42, the shot with the rototiller advancing and the bugs running willy-nilly brings to mind Godzilla. 😂😊
Most excellent!
Your garden is coming along nicely
Oohhhhhh my GOSH! I didn't know you had a Duck ❤ They are my favorite!
Love watching your videos, one of my great family videos
That clicking sound makes me smile, I grew up up on a 108 acre dairy farm and that’s the sound when something is touching the electric fence, thats when as kids we walk the fence line looking for the problem
Seeing the rich colours of the soil and grass is sunshine to the soul. Loved the duck 🦆

Nice feature in The Epoch Times last week on our precious Hollers.
You little girl is such a ray of sunshine. Great work! Nice to see your boys always chipping in to the work which contributes to the food they eat. 👍
Your flowers are beautiful
Garden looks nice.
I use ground cinnamon to get rid of ants in my garden beds. Cinnamon is also used as a rooting compound.
The greenhouse looks beautifully whimsical. 😊 Especially with the duck.
Nice video ❤🎉

We always use Kentucky Derby day as our 1st plant date. Louisvile, Ky here

In the north east mountains of New York we don't really plant til June, we've seen it snow here on mother's day. 😮
I love watching all the life come forth. We are about 4-5 weeks from planting outside here in Minnesota. Seeds started last weekend and tomatoes already popping up!

Funny, I never notice the clicking of the electric fence. It's just a part of the sounds of rural life.
