I laughed so hard when you showed the DnD fabric. I, too have a husband who plays. That fabric is fabulous and was a great way to prove to him that quilt fabric comes in more than tiny prints and flowers. When I'm better at cutting fabric, I might have to grab some and make something for our guest/game room. Thanks for the inspiration! Have fun at market and please post lots of pictures on instagram!
I have watched Liz and Shelly of Antique Needleworkers. You are right, the video of Shelly's place was AMAZING. I would love to be her dear friend and visit often. Liz, good luck on your plan.
Elizabeth you are the absolute sweetest!!! Thank you for the sweet shout out ❤nothing makes a girls heart beat faster than watching along and you hear your name in the middle of all the pretty stitching! Love love love your tiny town finish, bravo!!! I have where flowers bloom in my rotation but feel the same as you about the color changes, I have a need for speed and all the changes slow you down. But she is a beauty so I won’t abandon her. Thanks again for your sweet shout out❤
Hi Shellie! Thank YOU for taking the time to film the house tour!! It was so much fun to watch and see. And now I have a new dream home :) Congrats to you and Liz on your new flosstube!
I really love that you sew, such a creative finish, attaching Tiny Town to the Spool. Will be trying that flange finish, lets the design do the talking. Tudor Bee, so elegant, love every single bee by The Blue Flower. You are more productive than ever, right? Impressive.
We make your day better because you always make our day better with your laughter, upbeat attitude, and enabling our stitching💕😂. Always love your wips and finishes and plans. Now I must head to Hobby Lobby again to see what I’m missing out on in the framing department! I could actually take a day in that store to really scope it all. Love it. They have restrooms, right?😉
I loved all of you stitched pieces, hard to pick a favorite. Really enjoy each of your videos and appreciate all of them . Great deals you shared about your frames. Take care
It was great to see your. Finishes, old ones and new ones. I love the tiny town spool. I’ve wanted to finish with a drum finish but didn’t want to stuff it, so the spool is a perfect solution.
You are so much fun to watch, Elizabeth! I haven't felt the best over the last few days and knew watching you today would put a smile on my face and a chuckle in my heart. You did not disappoint - the thumbnail was perfect! Loved seeing your previous spring finishes and your Valentine Tiny Town is adorable! Aren't Kathy and Peter the best?! I hope you have a wonderful time at market. Make sure you take you vitamins and your running shoes - long days and tired feet, but I know you will have a blast! Take care and keep inspiring us and making us smile. Happy Stitching and quilting. PS. I just finished a quilt top while "visiting" with you - my "I Spy Hexie Quilt"( there's a glimpse of it on my IG profile pic and I shared some progress on it in my latest FlossTube) - now to add the borders, quilt and bind.
Thanks Merritt! I can’t believe you’ve made a whole quilt out of hexies! That is on my someday at some point list! I need to do another little project bag or something because I really like working on those little hexies!
Love, love ,love your scissor spool holder. I, too marveled over the Antique stitcher’s mill tour. A MAZING. My plan is to win a lottery jackpot to fund my mill.😂🪡
Your Tiny Town spool finish is amazing. I’m thinking this is going to be my goal as I love the Tiny Towns. Also, your sampler stitching is just gorgeous. Kudos to you for always challenging yourself with new things and items. I don’t think I could ever master the silk threads and have it come out as beautiful stitching. You are a master. Thanks for sharing the Etsy shops and floss tubers. Its always fun to find new places to shop and watch videos, and it’s always great to support small business owners. Great video, worth the hour.
I am so with you on The Mill House. i'm still drooling over that video and wishing I coud have one. I love Spring. Living thru a Chicago winter is horrid. And I'm in a Spring countdown mood. right now we are having a pretty good ice stiorm, tomorrow will be horrid getting to work. But I still have power so life is good. I'm with you on WIPGO. I am so happy Ihave finishes and progress on pieces thsat I never thought I'd work on, but the new stuff is calling me daily. Your Tiny Town finish is amazing. Have fun at Market
Thanks for your framing ideas! AND especially for the spool idea for Tiny Town patterns! I’m talking with Pete’s Bees Skep today and they will do a custom order for me since they’re sold out.
Oh you have such energy, so refreshing!!! I always makes notes of charts to add to my wish list and love your tutorials on finishing and quilting. Enjoy the “Market” and look forward to your photos and “haul” when you return. 🥰🧵🪡🍀😻 Your kitty is just adorable 😻
I loved your finish on the Tiny Town spool. I immediately ordered one from Petes Bee Skep. I enjoy all of your tutorials and finished projects. I also quilt. You are very enabling. Keep up all the inspirations.
You are so much fun to watch. I always enjoy your videos and projects. Have fun at market. Looking forward to your quilt video and market video. Thanks for all your tutorials, too. You explain everything so well. U r a great teacher. ❤
Son espectaculares tus acabados. ¿Hay algo con más encanto que unas casitas bordadas a punto de cruz? Sinceramente lo dudo. La idea de rodear el carrete con el bordado de las casas es magnífico.
Hello, Love, love your Tiny Town and bee skep. It is so cute and your elastic finish is awesome idea. All your finishes are very nice as are your frames. Your Wildflowers from Blue Flower is so pretty. We have to stitch our flower in Austin! (Pollen & weather)! Hope you have a great time at Market & safe travels. beverly
Liz, you are such a joy for me to watch. Bright and bubbly. Our family is going through a trying time, as my husband has a rare cancer. Your sunshine is so welcome and uplifting. Thank you.
Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your husband Roseanne. I'm so glad I can be a bright spot or distraction to help you through. Sending you and your family all of the love and support ❤️
Wow! I love your Tiny Town finish! It is so cute!!💖Also, you had some gorgeous finishes the Pink Sparrow Sampler, Blackberry’s House, Collector’s Heart& many beautiful starts. Thank you for a wonderful video. You got a shout out from Liz Matthews that you were going with her to Market. I hope you have an awesome time!!💖💝🎉
You have truly inspired me to get going on my “Where Flowers Bloom!” I’ve had the pattern for a year, and now I am really motivated! Also, love your “Tiny Town” finish! You ARE an inspiration!❤
Wow!! Thanks so much Liz for your kind words about Peter’s spool❤. You’re finish is so beautiful and love the way you attached Big Hearted Tiny Town to your spool. That is the tricky part😊. May definitely try that on my next one for Spring. Thanks again so much!! Our phone is going crazy, yay!!! And it’s all because of you🥰
The tiny town finish is genius! ❤ Your stitching is beautiful and I also enjoyed your past finishes! I am behind on a quilting deadline too, and it’s the binding so that will be done this week! I end up just am seeing them and turning around to find something else to do! 😬I don’t even know why because I don’t mind doing it…just in a funk because I missed that self-imposed deadline! 😊❤️Enjoy market and your time with Liz!
Oh wow that D & D fabric!❤. I now know what quilt I can make for my 27 year old son. He is also immersed in the D & D world. It’s gorgeous! Add to cart 😂
Loved your spool finish so much that I purchased a spool from Pete’s Bee Skeps. You had mentioned doing a tutorial on how you finished that spool. Did I miss that tutorial? Just checking!
So many wonderful things to comment on in this video!! The spool finish is great and I hope to do one soon! Great prices on the frames. On the one with a small nick, just use a permanent marker to touch it up. I know I say this all the time, but between cross stitching, quilting, and working full time, you get so much done!!! All amazing !! You are definitely not alone in not remembering everything. I have fabric that I know I bought for a specific quilt, then either don’t remember the pattern, or I can’t find the pattern!! Have a great time at market. So happy for you to get to attend. Congratulations again for 100 episodes….on to 200!!!😁
Tiny town finish was amazing. I really found your excitement over market infectious. I’m trying to be good. But I know it won’t last long. Who knew D&D fabric existed!!! I have to see if o can track that down in the Uk for my daughter. Hope your meetings in the evening come to end soon so it frees up more stitching time for these fabulous ideas you have. Can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to next floss tube ❤
Just wanted to let you know you can get a wood repair kit at Hobby Lobby that comes with markers and wax crayons for $4.99. I use those to repair clearance frames that have a little ding in them! Super easy to use!
Hi Liz! Episode 39 is your Prairie Schooler birds AND you give your color conversions!!! Thank you!!! Love your flange pillow! And your small sampler. And the tiny town finish(I just finished mine- thanks for the ff idea) Loved this episode. Have fun at market. 💃
I love your videos, just finished watching them all. Love your quilting tips, you have inspired me to (as he said) finally attempt a quilt for my husband. I don't know if you are aware of this, but San Antonio has a LNS again!! Woo hoo!! Under the Sea Fabrics opened up a shop on the Northwest side. Not as massive as The Tinsmith's Wife, but a good selection of floss and charts - and her hand dyed fabric is amazing! Looking forward to your next video ...
Lori O Medina Ohio - Love your slew of FFO! You're kicking it out of the park!! Looking good girl! I've got to get some of those frames with the dowel rod and the back piece; It would make framing much easier for me.
a little tip to keep thread from slipping out the needle. Do a loop then slide your needle through and create an overhand knot near the needle with the tail. This should keep it secure till you are ready to end. Or just make an overhand knot near the eye of the needle with the tail. Same thing. Different method. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your videos very much. I always learn something new 😊
Have you thought about sewing a tab of the check (full width or height? Sew it to the vertical end.) to one side of the Tiny Town & tuck it under the other side when you button it? Just an idea for those who don't want the wood showing at the closure. I'm not a finisher & love all of your tutorials.
I did, but that would have to be much more precise than the elastic and buttons, with the elastic that keeps it very tight and fitted to the spool itself so it doesn't slip around. I don't mind the spool showing on the back because it won't really be visible while it's on display! Thank you!
Liz you are so inspirational and so positive, your past peices are beautiful. Yes a tutorial on the square pillows when you have time would be awesome…..your just a great teacher….i totally agree that i want a mill to work in also , like you i feel the need to seek antiques….lolol…my mom and dad loved antiques, i do have a few from them….I am the caretaker also of a generational crazy quilt….it’s beautiful, was done around 1860….thanks for sharing, have fun at market.
Elizabeth I really enjoy your videos the tutorial are wonderful and easy to follow. I’m not sure if you know that on several occasions your channel’s tutorials have been referenced for project bags. Great job. Thanks for sharing. 😊
I love the little tiny town idea on the spool scissor holder! It’s so pretty. You always make me smile while I’m watching your videos, I look forward to that. I can’t wait to see your videos, pictures from market with Liz. Thanks for sharing!

Oh…..your tiny town finish is so, so cute! Thanks for sharing where you purchased your spool. I loved seeing your previous spring finishes. Spring is my favorite season because after a long winter in Minnesota, spring is glorious. Have fun at market…it’s obvious how excited you are to go and help Liz and Kathy. I can’t wait to hear all about your adventures at market. Blessings and take care.
Thank you for your video. Loved seeing all your finishes. The Tiny Town finidh was great! You will have a blast at market. Take care and happy stitching.
I've noticed some of the same pieces popping up on Flosstubes but was able to resist until you showed your Blackberry House finish. May have added another item or two to my market pre-orders as well...Have a great time at market and looking forward to hearing your impressions.
"My desk is a mesk." I have chuckled for days! You are so entertaining in your videos and have delighted me with your dialogs. You speak so well without so many umms .....so annoying. Please tell me how I can get the Tudor Bee pattern. It is the most beautiful small I have ever seen and would love to have it. Your stitching is perfection and so inspiring. Enjoy market!
Loved your spool finish of Big Hearted Tiny Town!! When you do a tutorial I’m going right to the video as that would be an awesome finish for many different patterns from various designers! Have fun at Market and hope you have a great time seeing all the models of new releases!
The mill tour was amazing and I would love to have a sewing and craft area like she has. I love all your spring finishes. Have a terrific time at market and I am sure you will love every minute there. You are such an inspiration and I love your laughter and smile.
Your Tiny Town spool finish is fabulous Liz!!! Spring is the season that I have the least of but more because I love fall/Halloween and Christmas and keep neglecting spring! I hope you have the most amazing time at market! I can't wait to hear about your experience!!!
So I've spent many a Christmas coming up with clever D&D gifts. You could make him boxers or pj pants. Or you could make him a super cool bag to store his dice or like a play mat. I hope you have an amazing time at Market!
Congratulations on your Tiny Town finish!! Not only do you maybe need new scissors in your collection because you can never have enough scissors but you need them to coordinate with the different Tiny Towns. Right? 😉😃
I laughed so hard when you showed the DnD fabric. I, too have a husband who plays. Loved your spool finish of Big Hearted Tiny Town!! When you do a tutorial I’m going right to the video as that would be an awesome finish for many different patterns from various designers! Have fun at Market and hope you have a great time seeing all the models of new releases!
Love the spool idea. I'm going to go buy the spool now. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed the video. Will be looking out for the quilt video
Thank you so much!
The Mill house is amazing!!!?
Love the spool finish! Thank you for sharing that with us!
So I've spent many a Christmas coming up with clever D&D gifts. You could make him boxers or pj pants. Or you could make him a super cool bag to store his dice or like a play mat. I hope you have an amazing time at Market!
ooh yes, I need to try and make him a pair of boxers!
Also, a “hot dog” style pillowcase would be cool in that D&D fabric!
Thanks liz you are fun to watch and extremely inspiring love the spool finish
Yes, the hands across the sea booklets have the overlap. Very helpful! In the booklets are so cute. You should get them
Congratulations on your Tiny Town finish!! Not only do you maybe need new scissors in your collection because you can never have enough scissors but you need them to coordinate with the different Tiny Towns. Right? 😉😃
for sure! I'm already on the look out for more themed scissors 😂
Have fun at market.
