Tyrell Williams At the time of my response, it’s 2020...now you can be the protege of every top musician by way of their social media accounts. It’s been this way for a while even before the pandemic.✌🏾
@@SingingProphetess It was a mess then and still is now where people think it's cute to pull out a phone and read the words🙄. This some mess at someone's her tribute. 🙄
Someone said Twinkie knew the organist and the organist said he only knew the chorus and the way he started playing Twinkie probably could tell he didn't know the song and what a beautiful thing for her to get up and play her own song at her own appreciation...NOTHING BUT LOVE, HONOR, AND RESPECT FOR TWINKIE...and God bless them all for honoring her.
I don't care who was corrected or not. I just love the humbleness of Twinkie to get up and play at her own tribute when she's payed her dues, and have to. She got the band together and if you watched she taught all of them (including the vocalist) without saying do this. I love this woman and her sisters.
If I can be kicked off the organ I would want it to be Twinkie thats the highest honor you can get as an organist .. I mean who really is better on the organ .. Its the artist song they dont want hear it messed up ...

I don't think this is about the first organist at all.. This is about celebrating Twinkie. I greatly appreciate the humility of the organist to relinquish the organ to her. As good as anyone of us is, it is good to be humbled every now and then. The singer with the big hair is a little bombastic to say the least but I come from this environment. I tip my hat the organist who is great in his own right.
@@michaelvaughn2521 Anthony "Junebug" Turner is a phenomenal organist; he played exquisitely this video, but it wasn't how the original song was played. Just listen to original "Endow Me" from 1981, & compare it to this video & his "rendition."
No one can sing Endow Me like the Clark Sisters. For the 1st 4 mins I couldn't figure out which song this was. The soloist is screaming YIKES. Twinkie is whole truth, period!!
A classic gone crazy! I'm so sick of flesh and entertainment. And you don't publicly humiliate someone to gain popularity. Choir messing up...not unified. Skill with no anointing....and no adoration for God is just simply SHOW.
It was just simply embarassing for the lead singer to call out the musicians for following her tempo. Also, reading the lyrics off her phone screen? She should be ashamed for that. It just irks me as a musician.
Maybe you're irritated for the same reason I'm irritated. It seems to me like the soloist was more worried about "performing" for Twinkie rather than ministering.
I have been blessed this past month. I have always liked the music the Clark Sisters have rendered over the years, but Twinkie Clark....My Holy, Heavenly Father! She is the most lovely, blessed, compassionate, sweet, wonderful person. I use that communication line , provided by the Most High, continuosly. And I can tell you, He has her, He's got Twinkie in His care. Thank you God, for bringing this amazing product of your " clay" into my life, through social media, of recent. Amen🌹
From my experience as an organist, the organist did a fantastic job and his chords and intro was perfect. The soloist and the choir were the ones off if you wanna be critical. The soloist didn’t know the verse and the choir sections were not singing their 3 part harmony correctly.
Yeah, she tried to blame it on the musician, but the musician actually was just following the singer. The singer was clearly beside herself. If Twinkie is playing for me while I'm singing, I would be looking just like Karen does. If Karen was there that lady would be put in her place vocally. Karen as good as she is, looks up to Twinkie even while performing!
I watched it twice! Hopefully the soloist was mature enough to know that this was a teachable moment in the making. If she was into her feelings after the service, she has a rough road ahead of her. EVERYBODY NEEDS TO BE TEACHABLE!
+Monica Harris Absolutely NO anointing. Things like this is the reason why the church can't help the world because the world see's the church as a joke because of stupid crap such as this. That soloist should have gave up the mic because it sound like she was singing it right.
Lol I wish this singer had of been endowed with the time to learn the words to a song before she sannng !!! This just shows Twinkie was and always will be a "beast" on the organ and as a vocalist. This was really like a Master class vs a tribute. All hail the queen can't nobody mess with Twinkie frfr !! Periodt pooh !!! Hallelujahrrrr !!
This worship/ prayer was instrumental in bringing a newly saved young soldier (me)through a very tough time when it was released. It was my first time away from the safety of my church, praying mothers, seven months into my salvation; My first time away from my family; First time going overseas; I was scared, unsure..uncertain I could do it. The power of God on this song encouraged me to push through that year away from my husband and babies, and to grow in an very different environment. I was able to then allow God to reveal the strength that was in me the entire time! More than I could ever have known "behind the hedge of the Mothers." Thank God for His Power!! Thank you, for posting this video...took me back!!
Twinkie can not be duplicated. She was taught by one of the finest Church Mother's, the Beloved Mother Mattie Moss Clarke. Thank you Twinkie for keeping your Precious Mother's Legacy ALIVE. When I see Twinkle, I always listen for her to Acknowledge Mother Mattie Moss Clarke. PRAISE The LORD JESUS!
That's why, as a choir director and organist, I make such emphasis on getting together and taking the time for rehearsal and avoid "playing church" and have enough care for those who you're ministering to by being prepared and prayed up!
These are the real stars without the fame. I was moved beyond ones. Words do a disservice in trying to convey the plethora of emotions this video brought. Out of me. It was like going home, to my sisters elegant siblings gifted. And beautiful.
Bruh People are so petty with this title! It was just the tempo.. He still kills everytime he gets on the organ!! It happens to the best of us.. Somethings don't even need to be on UA-cam.. I mean this video is so pointless... Like this angers me because what exactly is the purpose of the person who even uploaded this clip.. I mean it's so obvious he can play.... But shorty with the mic won't doing it justice for me but to each is his own! The title should say "Twinkie Needs to Correct this vocalist" just calling it like I see it..... I felt like the vocalist was throwing shade though.. She don't sound all that great to me.. She was doing the most tho! Like I love the Clark sisters ( no shade to them at all) and all but since when did we get so caught up in the artist that we forget the one who really matters... "Jesus".. We need to get back to him... Honestly this is why I'm so sick of Thee "Black" church!!! We ( and I say we because that where I come from) have gotten so off track!! Focusing on what the drummer, organist, and whatnot.. We throw so much shade at ccm but at least the focal point is Jesus!
I agree totally, the artist was just as off, cause a good 1 can help them get the tempo they desire. But please don't blame this foolishness on the black church. Not all of us act this way, unfortunately it's the ones who act this way that get the spotlight. All because the flesh desires contention and strife, rather than unity and peace.
I agree once at a funeral a soloist got up to sing so naturally I followed her. I was on the organ and the minister of music was on drums that day. she started messing up badly. in the middle of the song she said "stop , yall got to speed it up". I got real mad because of the way she said it. so I stopped playing. she couldn't really sing😠😠😤
+Alrenzo Albritton How you low key try and call out the "Clark Sisters" and claim we need not get caught up in the artist, BUT you wrote a whole book trying to defend the organist. You must be a musician. LMAO. Stop.
This is why I love the Clark sister's because they teach like their mother! I get that some people feel that Twinkie shouldn't have intervened but in my opinion, she taught them a valuable listen. Don't it right or don't do it at all! I'm not going to let you continue in your mistake, Im going to show you how so next time you know. It happens in choirs all the time.
I know this is super old but my mentor would do the same thing she played the organ and I played the piano. When I was having issues she would catch my attention in service or wherever we're and get me back on track, or she would start singing along with the choir so I could get my tempo together. Even when I was playing and singing a song she would get me together lol. Now that's what a person of God does. Being humble and helpful in all situations.
it's the principle though!! God is getting the glory ( supposedly right) so if he is off somewhat dont belittle a person for using to the best of His ability. let him finish and then tell him what he could improve on!
Twinkie is everything that talent is unmatched unbelievable and underrated blessings to to all of those Clark’s for they are true treasures and vocal masterpieces
You NEVER call out a musician in the middle of the set. A boss will wait til after to fire, admonish, correct, or whatever's needed. She's lucky she wasn't with actual professional musicians. They'd have shut her down, and played her into a vocal ditch to make her wish she NEVER acted out like that. There's three or four of them in the band to ONE of you. It isn't THEM who are wrong. NEVER cross the band backing you. They can make you look a fool. Good singers can sing through any alteration and make it look intentional or good. They also know how to get what they need from the band without speaking. There's a universal band language you use to get anything from tempo change, groove change, key change, and how to go back to any part of the song for a recapitulation. This cow doesn't know that language, and she'll never play with a good band. She's in the mimicking business. Boo for her!
I understand what you mean but it's not always best to take it as disrespect two other musicians because I'm a musician myself and sometimes my dad needs to help me out when I myself don't realize it and elbernita Clark is not a cow
+Jacob Brumfield Doesn't matter if it's your spouse, NO ONE with any class will do that in front of an audience. It's a losing fight from the start. It only makes the one pointing fingers look silly and unprofessional. The audience didn't come in for any of that mess. You sort that out in rehearsal. A pro will soldier through any hiccups. It actually makes you a better vocalist to be able to sing through difficult scenarios, good and bad ones. It's good training and prepares that person for pretty much anything. And that person will get hired over and over again. Because that's who musicians want to work with: A total pro. You'll eventually get away from your father and you, too, won't stand for any mess from a silly vocalist who tries blaming others for their unpreparedness. You'll see.
+Jacob Brumfield I wasn't referring to Twinkie. I was referring to the vocalist. All Twinkie did was take over the organ. Not that this changed the vocalist's performance any. Because it had nothing to do with the organ. She's just bad at singing, and has a stink attitude with no talent to back it up.
+plutorama I see your point now and I'm looking over the video right now and I do see the attitude it is deplorable I apologize for offering this to Twinkie thank you for replying back and God bless
+Jacob Brumfield now I really see your point. when you looked at this lady, she really gave off negative outlook of her external appearance. definitely as she verbally Carried her in front of the musicians and the choir .
Twinkie looks wonderful and slimmed out! As far as this vid! The organist was great! The soloist, from Bobby Jones SC, and now a background singer for Jennifer Hudson, has no humility and she totally was not prepared as you can see she's reading her words from a phone. Twinkie's sounds don't require "Karen" like vocal acrobatics. She just did tooooo much without the oil backing her up!
Truth, looking at your PHONE for words while SINGING 👎Jesus...It was a good tempo...and ladies with the crochet hair, sometimes it's TOOOOOOOOOOOOO full I think I'm going to let someone get in mine and knit it like a sweater.
I know her...her name is Kyla Jade from Topeka, KS. Most of the people I grew up around are like that, unfortunately. I think she was probably trying to impress her but I agree...too much!
Also being a musician as well.. we all have had times where you didn’t know a song. But I love how the organist wasn’t mad, or upset he got up and was willing to watch and listen.. I’ve been in both situations.. I know the organist, he’s a wonderful player.. good thing he kept his cool and not be as distasteful
Twinkie, you are such a Gift to the body of Christ!!! Thank you for your heart of worship! Endow Me is a heart's cry for more of Jesus and His power (the Holy Ghost) and that's all I want! Bro Musician thank you for your humility and willingness to step a side! It was nothing wrong with your playing at All! I am so glad you allowed me the opportunity to hear Twinkie play one of her signature songs! The soloist definitely has some skills, but the anointing destroys yokes not talent! Dear Soloist, Please let your gift and talent be submitted to the Lord! People will always criticize and speak negative about you, but don't let that bother you, just sing unto the Lord the way you do, but not for praise or flattery of words! You really can sing! Just stay humble and let God have His way! PS. It's okay to use assistance in singing a song, but it's better to learn the song thoroughly!🎵🎵🎵🎙️🎙️🎙️
I'm more than sure the musician was not embarrassed, but honored. You can see the joy on his face to be right there in the midst of it all. You can feel the HOLY SPIRIT as she plays & sing. Its not a show "training" is key. GOD BLESS YOU ALL & JUST ENJOY HIS PRESENCE😙
Everything was great about this performance EXCEPT for the “soloist”. It sees as though everyone was on one accord...then there’s her. Smh. The highest respect to Minister Twinkie! I’ve looked up to her since I was 8 years old. Her anointing is vicious!
If people only knew the Chronicles that I had to go through as a musician in the church at these musicals you just thank you still here and still playing. It’s many of times I’ve had to forgive people like her for mess like this because I was put in position to play for them again. As musicians we call it humble beginnings and it shows you have humility to play for the same person that embarrassed you.
1. The Soloist couldn't sing...or she just didn't sound well on this song. And get that DOG off her head! Twinkie should have took over the solo as well. 2. Organist didn't do anything wrong...Twinkie just does it better 3. You can't get mad at the soloist for reading off her phone when, every time I look up Kim Burrell reading lyrics off paper. I've said it on several occasions, that Kim Burrell is a lazy singer, and people get so offended just because she's Kim Burrell and has offered so many people false hope that they can sing, because they're copying her runs off UA-cam.
+Egyptian_Thoth.... I don't know if Kim is a lazy singer or not I don't know because I don't know her work ethic or anything but I do know a famous singer who has had problems remembering lyrics and has used a paper or cues, no one could see, but she needed it, not because she's lazy but just because she will forget lyrics. And i know her work ethic and she is not lazy at all...I'm just saying you never know why people do some things. I have seen some people get called out on the spot and use words. I remember a recording with Karen Clark Sheard using a paper and if you didn't know the back story then you may have thought she was lazy. Or sometimes people are just tired from working they run from here to there singing everywhere and may need them words...lol.
Twinkie’s baby sisters, Dorinda and Karen are always forgetting words. Any REAL Clark fan (because you can’t be a fan of one and not the others.) would know that.
Her name is Kyla Jade and yes she can sing. Look her up on UA-cam she very close to the Clark Sisters and she's a member of Dr. Bobby Jones' Nashville Super Choir
The tempo was wrong that was the issue. So if you have the creator and writer of the song present and it's not played, the way she wrote it! Yes, it is wrong! We have to accept the error lean from it and keep growing. Personally, as a musician growing up and singing in choirs from Baton Rouge to New Orleans, we didn't have phones, etc. We had to "learn songs" and sing them from memory. Some musicians and singer and Chrisitains the truth is, we have become a lazy people when it comes to the arts and gifts we present before God. My grandmother said that is why we have rehusals! to learn and perfect. Let us stop making excuses and do better Bruh! This was a teaching and learning moment from one the greatest, anointed ladies Chrisitan Gospel. Allow it to be just that..... Much Love "#PeopleofGod"
Dr.C Armani Trosclair, PhD *😔You Betta Let Em KNOW* ... & I did not know that was HER song, welp, 💁That Explains it lol. That song is her "baby" and Nope, you can't mistreat Mama's "Baby" while she is sitting there😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
It's sad when you are doing a tribute to a legend you don't know the words and then as humble as Twinkie is , comes in and does her own tribute. Twinkie taught them all a lesson without embarrassing them. That's a true legend. The lead singer isn't all that great ..
When yall start singing for the lord and not for fame and money, the LORD will show up in the Temples. Psalm 150 Yall singing for sales not SOULS Yall singing for attention, NOT to bring attention to the father and son. Yall playing instruments for the artist AND to help the pastor hoop and holler NOT for the glory of the father and son. Do you NOT understand when you start playing for the right reason, deliverance will take place and devils will be cast out. Now YOU ARE JUST CATERING TO DEMONS!! REPENT Powerhouseofmemphis
The way you correct musicians in front of people is to give them INSTRUCTIONS. It happens to me sometimes when I'm directing or leading a song....just say...speed it up....slow it down......even motion the rhythm to them....stuff like that. I never just tell them "y'all messing up" cause that won't change it lol At the same time singing a classic Clark Sisters song in front of Twinkie Clark is not the best time to mess up at all lol. Teachable moment for sure.
That wasn't the organist baby, that was the soloist fault! Twinkie tried to redirect her by attempting to get her on track, (which didn't work)!!!! She should have been honored!!!
From a musician's prospective.. The guy on the organ clearly didnt know the song. There were no chord changes from any of the verses the lead was singing..even I couldnt tell when she was to come in..He did all these runs and junk at the beginning I feel to show off.. And Chaka Khan(in hair only) was tacky I feel lookin at the words on her fone.. screaming these high notes at random.. totally awful.. This is a song Twinkie wrote and I dont blame her for getting up correcting her song.. People should Respect that
I didn't even know what she was singing till she said endow me...the organist was doing his thing ...the soloist was singing at a tempo the it seems didn't please Twinkie...a lot of soloist tend to slow songs down so they can do all their runs and whatsoever ...she had no type of anointing
+muzicman2k7 I"ll cosign your POV. I"m a singer and at the end of the day we want to convey the message the song intends, and sang all God gave me to sang! So the listener will get the mesasge down to the CORE. Hence: Endow~Endooohhwww~Meeeeeeee.f It wasn"t that serious let them folks show out. I mean it is her song I would have not been offended in the least bit, actually relieved especially if i knew prior that she was there and was not on my "A" Game...:)
I'm not a musician..but I'm a soloist.. you know the guy could play that organ..in my opinion he played it better than twinkie dont get me wrong twinkie is a great and dynamic organist..I dont Cate what nobody say that fellow on that organ was great ..he was playing with the anointing..seems too me when twinkie got on the organ everything got slower and confused..but when she got off of the organ and the guy sat down everything seemed too get back in flow..dont b envious of that fellow cause he had hands down skills...He was as great as Ms.Twinkie..
Ms. Twinky did exactly what a more experience musician should have done . She gave the man a chance but he couldn't get it together so she respectfully approached the organ and gave a lesson to every one in there Wich was humbleness respect humility. I'm a musician and as a musician you have to know when to keep going or show humbleness and get up Wich he showed
Twinkie its time to teach so they'll know after we are gone how to praise him from our hearts on that oragan, thats why u play so well.Pass that torch woman of God, pass it by teaching the young ones how its done,in others Twinkie Clark's organ lessons.
Reading lyrics off a phone is a real pet peeve of mine. Maybe I’m just old. Hopefully I won’t let it bother me in the future as it seems to be acceptable.
FACTS!!! I've had my phone with me on a few occasions for guidance on parts I'm uncertain of but, never straight up had it in my face to read word for word.
wow all i can say that the soloist was absolutely HORRIBLE! and when i say horrible i mean horrible!! and for her to do what she did and she wasnt even singing any of the notes of that song herself?? really??? imma need for her to take several seats. when u do a tribute especially a tribute to twinkie/clark sisters U better come correct ok? im just saying and this was not a tribute at all .....it was a hot mess
As a singer, when you do a tribute to a living legend you should: 1. Know the Song... the cell phone reading is a No No... 2. Face the Honoree... Never have the Honoree see the back of you. Unless they are in the pulpit area... even then, you turn graciously in the direction of the Honoree to honor the Honoree. 3. Rehearse with the musician. Find time, make time to rehearse with the musicians. if time does not allow that, keeping #1 in the back pocket will save you every time. 4. If the Honoree requested You to bless them with singing their song. Be prepared to Bless GOD first and man later. 5. Discrediting the musician is a No No. whether before, during or after the song, it's a No No. If you rely on their accompanying, then Discrediting them them on Disqualifies your skill set as a Psalmist or a Minister. You literally become the (Solo)ist nobody wants to work with. As someone who grew up singing the latest Clark Sister songs, learning their sounds and even backgrounding for them in NY next to Kelly Price and many others of our chior at the Beacon Theater in NY, when we were teenagers, I wanted to snatch the mic from this child ... LMBO... Nonetheless, this moment became a learning moment. I wanted to record this legendary moment because it's been decades since I had been in the same room with Lady Twinkie. When I saw her get up and walk to the organ, I was thankful to have my husband recording. The Entire night was filled with interesting learning moments.
Paulette Scott -- I absolutely nod my head with you, 100%. The soloist was just DREADFUL. Off -key in voice.... off- putting in attitude... Then, she has the nerve to try to chastise somebody else - - on TOP of being so incredibly awful? No. And, Sister Anonymous "Diva" ⭐☄😤🎤🔇should consider herself VERY lucky that Twinkie did not get up & set HER straight. Because, the one thing that Twinkie Clark has always insisted upon, with any product or project or ANYTHING bearing her name, is excellence. She is a per- FEC- tion- IST-- & that is plain to be seen throughout her life. I've been in Sister Clark's presence when our choir stupidly forgot the words to a song she was rehearsing with us for THAT night 🎵"COMPLETE YOUR WORK IN ME"-- and, let's just say, it was NOT pretty. By the time she had made her displeasure known to us, I could say that I had seen a grown man cry for the first time ever, AND our choir 🎼 could have sung that thang BACKWARDS. So, I'm surprised she didn't lay into this screeching, attitude ridden America's Got Talent ( ?) reject. Maybe she restrained herself because a lot of cell phone cameras were rolling. IDK.... Anyway: audiences used to let performers KNOW how their act was going by clapping, hooting, standing up-- & the ultimate feedback--- booing ( though not so much in the church house) .... Why has all of that suddenly gone away?
Honorable...man on the organ...It's okay to move over for a legend. You're still good.

What bothered me most was the Young Lady CAME WITH TWINKIE To do this TRIBUTE.
So, If You KNOW You're gonna TRAVEL WITH THE HONOREE
KNOW THE SONG FOR THE TRIBUTE!!
She was too Nonchalant About it!! Like they grew up together and went to the same HS or something...
I thought he was doing a great job myself, the first organist.
@@michaelvaughn2521 Anthony "Junebug" Turner is a phenomenal organist; he played exquisitely this video, but it wasn't how the original song was played. Just listen to original "Endow Me" from 1981, & compare it to this video & his "rendition."
Dang it sounded like a totally different song when Twinkie got on the organ
It surely did
Kydra Manuel Yep. The biggest issue was that tey were playing the wrong meter! There’s no way they listened to this song more than once
There is absolutely no shame in getting shoulder tapped by Twinkie Clark. The original organist was a class act and a beast in his own right!!!
Twinkie is such a legend. Just her alone and the organ in this video was good enough for me.
No one can sing Endow Me like the Clark Sisters. For the 1st 4 mins I couldn't figure out which song this was. The soloist is screaming YIKES. Twinkie is whole truth, period!!
Yep. I wasn't sure what they were about to sing.
Also, all that yelling they call "singing" nowadays, is, for a lack of a better word, annoying.
It's the anointing that destroys the yoke!
Amen
Her attitude was just nasty.
The soloist is a FLAT FUNKY MESS!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 not a flat funky mess 🤣🤣🤣🤣
zztopdog lol hahahahahahahaha Hahahahahahahahahaa
Oh I thought u said a fat mess
@@alovization 😂😂😂😂😂
Her Pitch.. ugggggh
Am I the only person on here highly irritated by the soloist?
Nope. Muva got up and played so she should have let her sing ijs
Booooo throw tomatoes 🍅 at huh
Timm Burr not tomatoes 😂 😩
Maybe you're irritated for the same reason I'm irritated. It seems to me like the soloist was more worried about "performing" for Twinkie rather than ministering.
Marvin Miller Jr facts!!!!!!
Baby when Queen Twinkie got up, I knew magic was going to happen¡❤️❤️❤️❤️
What duck say on five heartbeats “he’s messing up my lyrics “ 😂🤣🤣🤣
Thank God Ms. Twinkie didn't push him off the piano bench like Duck did that man for jackin up his song!😂😂😂
MorningStar-CherokeeMix nah fr 😭😂😂💀💀😂
👍🏽😂😂😂😂
She tries to embarrass the organist and she reads a classic song off paper of a legend 😩
exactly, she needs to learn the song first
I have been blessed this past month.
Amen🌹
I think the organist was doing great. he is really good if you ask me.
He is good he's just stated that he did not know the song like that
Right! The soloist needed to sit down... Period!
Brandon Kitchen I agree I think he did good as well
Baja Manuela lol
I thought the organist was awesome too my friend! Sister McGillicuddy need to LEARN the words to the song and practice lol!!!
was she really trying to battle twinkie really sit down
Carvis Bigone she thought she was Karen! No boo boo
I just admire Twinkie so much. I feel like she have gone through some of the things that I have gone through. But yet she keep on keeping on in God.
From my experience as an organist, the organist did a fantastic job and his chords and intro was perfect. The soloist and the choir were the ones off if you wanna be critical. The soloist didn’t know the verse and the choir sections were not singing their 3 part harmony correctly.
Exactly!
She talking about the musician need to speed it up. how about you learn the words to the song.
Right!! Lol
i agree totally lol
DeLorean Cotton church say Amen.... wait let me get the word!!!!!
AMEN

Right and let twinkie sing the second verse because she probably didn't know.
🤣 I was thinking the same 🤦🏽♂️

I watched it twice! Hopefully the soloist was mature enough to know that this was a teachable moment in the making. If she was into her feelings after the service, she has a rough road ahead of her. EVERYBODY NEEDS TO BE TEACHABLE!
Very distasteful move by the soloist. No type of anointing from her anyway. She just wanted to show off.
exactly
So true! The most
+Monica Harris That's why I don't like playing for those so-called soloistsss...they can be a pain in the neck and other lower extremities!!!
+Monica Harris Absolutely NO anointing. Things like this is the reason why the church can't help the world because the world see's the church as a joke because of stupid crap such as this. That soloist should have gave up the mic because it sound like she was singing it right.
they look nasty.
Twinkie got up like “wait a minute hold on” 😂
No anointing, straight screaming.
PRAISE The LORD JESUS!
soloist was tacky and put of line. the organist was doing fine. twinkie shouldn't be playing at her own tribute. that soloist sounded horrible as well
dominating female spirits.
+Cassandra Lavender woman ruled church with wimpy men.
agreed
That's why, as a choir director and organist, I make such emphasis on getting together and taking the time for rehearsal and avoid "playing church" and have enough care for those who you're ministering to by being prepared and prayed up!
Too funny! I loved this! Mama Twinkie!
These are the real stars without the fame. I was moved beyond ones. Words do a disservice in trying to convey the plethora of emotions this video brought. Out of me. It was like going home, to my sisters elegant siblings gifted. And beautiful.
To be honest, I love the way the guy was playing it
He was excellent
I got real mad because of the way she said it. so I stopped playing. she couldn't really sing😠😠😤
they really need The Holy Ghost. They really need Him because this was not an anointed song at all. They are so filled with self.
+Alrenzo Albritton How you low key try and call out the "Clark Sisters" and claim we need not get caught up in the artist, BUT you wrote a whole book trying to defend the organist. You must be a musician. LMAO. Stop.
+Egyptian_Thoth ...Thank you!!
Twinkie Clark is a legend. She is the best organ player. I have ever seen or heard.
She sang the wrong word before Twinkle got up.... Just listen. Thomas Foolery at his very best!!!!
Sis! Just admit it, you didn’t know the song!
👏👏👏
This is why I love the Clark sister's because they teach like their mother! I get that some people feel that Twinkie shouldn't have intervened but in my opinion, she taught them a valuable listen. Don't it right or don't do it at all! I'm not going to let you continue in your mistake, Im going to show you how so next time you know. It happens in choirs all the time.
Adorn Her Hope they take heed.
When Twinkie got done, I am sure that soloist felt like, “A penny waiting for change.”
I had no problem with the way he played❤️ He Sounded good
Could she not learn the words to this classic?Twinkie Clark Terrell is a genius!

Truth, looking at your PHONE for words while SINGING 👎Jesus...It was a good tempo...and ladies with the crochet hair, sometimes it's TOOOOOOOOOOOOO full I think I'm going to let someone get in mine and knit it like a sweater.
the oil. that's so true.
I was trying to place her. That's why she looked/sounded familiar.
I know her...her name is Kyla Jade from Topeka, KS. Most of the people I grew up around are like that, unfortunately.
I think she was probably trying to impress her but I agree...too much!
@@nubianprincess777 she just either couldn't sing or she was nervous.
I loved how Twinkie stepped in to save the organist from being further embarrassed by the soloist.
It didn’t sound like Endow me until Twinkie started singing
Dr. Mattie Moss Clark would have thrown both her shoes...and the shoes of the person next to her....followed by a yell of STOP THIS FOOLISHESS...
yesssssss
What's crazy is the organist who was playing then is one of the COLDEST organist now! Thats LOVE
I did not enjoy the leader she just got on my nerves
Also being a musician as well.. we all have had times where you didn’t know a song. But I love how the organist wasn’t mad, or upset he got up and was willing to watch and listen.. I’ve been in both situations.. I know the organist, he’s a wonderful player.. good thing he kept his cool and not be as distasteful
I just love Twinkie. What a treat
This was some Robert Townsend from the 5 heartbeats stuff right here...lol!!
No need to try to shame anyone. Just keep moving in the spirit.
The soloist reminds me of the Wayans sister singing in that club on "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka!!"🎤🎶🙉🙉🙉🙉🙉😳
1. The Soloist couldn't sing...or she just didn't sound well on this song. And get that DOG off her head! Twinkie should have took over the solo as well.
2. Organist didn't do anything wrong...Twinkie just does it better
That song is her "baby" and Nope, you can't mistreat Mama's "Baby" while she is sitting there😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
She had the nerve!😮 (Soloist) God bless all of those talented musicians!

The way you correct musicians in front of people is to give them INSTRUCTIONS. It happens to me sometimes when I'm directing or leading a song....just say...speed it up....slow it down......even motion the rhythm to them....stuff like that. I never just tell them "y'all messing up" cause that won't change it lol
At the same time singing a classic Clark Sisters song in front of Twinkie Clark is not the best time to mess up at all lol. Teachable moment for sure.
LOL Twinkie said HELL Naw you not going to mess my song up.....especially when I'm in the building lolololol
Thank you

That soloist is out of order and singing all over the place! She needs to humble herself and takes lessons from a legend in more ways than singing
I didn't recognize the song in any way before twinkie sang 🙆🏾♂️🙆🏾♂️😭😭
Twinkie was like let me show you how it’s done this how mama taught me twink killed it
She’s so sweet God Bless her
That wasn't the organist baby, that was the soloist fault! Twinkie tried to redirect her by attempting to get her on track, (which didn't work)!!!! She should have been honored!!!
Wrong title. Original organist was great. Twinkie was giving lessons to the singer

I"ll cosign your POV. I"m a singer and at the end of the day we want to convey the message the song intends, and sang all God gave me to sang! So the listener will get the mesasge down to the CORE. Hence: Endow~Endooohhwww~Meeeeeeee.f
It wasn"t that serious let them folks show out.

Dear soloist: Your extraness is most definitely in vain!
Sit down sumwhurr 🧻
It is what it is....🙏🏽
She wasn’t correcting the musician she was correcting the soloist lol.
Cory the bible says have a hair brush all times and the hair grease will continually be in her scalp her hair looks crazy
That’s the Legend, you gotta get up sir 🙌🏽😂
wow all i can say that the soloist was absolutely HORRIBLE! and when i say horrible i mean horrible!! and for her to do what she did and she wasnt even singing any of the notes of that song herself?? really??? imma need for her to take several seats. when u do a tribute especially a tribute to twinkie/clark sisters U better come correct ok? im just saying and this was not a tribute at all .....it was a hot mess
As a singer, when you do a tribute to a living legend you should:
The Entire night was filled with interesting learning moments.
real talk family.......
Why has all of that suddenly gone away?
somebody should've rescued my girl Twinkie! At least she is yet down to earth to the point that she would be at that service in the first place:-)
coooome on auntie Twinkie show these young bucks!!!! "the queen of the growl"
