Oh my god, the hopeful intro to this video is killing me knowing what's coming "I'm glad because I wanted it to be Trunks who landed the killing blow" my sweet Summer child
I'm so happy James Marsters was given a chance to be such an important character in DBS, being the voice of a main villain with Zamasu and you can tell he got to have fun with those voice lines. After playing King Piccolo in the DB Evolution movie, he deserved redemption, to be apart of something good in the DB Universe. I've always loved him, since he first appeared as Spike in Buffy the Vampire The Slayer.
@@alistairalexander7516 I feel like it's just not for everyone, but I actually believe that it's the best arc outside of the unreleased manga stories. The villain was intimidating and the stakes were high, the villains were also sick af. And yes, despite the ending not being what people wanted, I feel like an ending isn't supposed to be expected but shocking, and the eerie end that Zamasu technically got what he wanted felt like an end that was unexpected but not disappointing. As I said earlier though, I guess it's not for everyone.
Crazy how Trunks got enough energy to cleave Zamasu in half with only like 12 people left alive in the entire multiverse while Buu was able to initially resist the spirit bomb containing the energy of billions of people
I do wish you would watch all the fillers. The next episode has an important plot point that would be relevant later, and we get focus on Hit, Gohan, and Kuririn.
I like the manga ending better. It's so satisfying to see Zamasu run away in terror knowing that despite being immortal, even he can't survive Zeno's wrath.
I’m more satisfied watching a whole universe of Zamasu start writhing in panic and confusion as they suddenly get wiped, their laughter turned into screams
@@charismaentertainer1657 True, but it would've been better if they screamed as soon as Zeno appeared instead of laughing as if they didn't know he was there.

I personally would have preferred Trunk and Mai stay in the main time line. They could have gone somewhere else and live their own lives as to allow the younger one to develop on their own. Then we could have gotten future Trunks in the TOP.
Getting Zeno involved and showing what he’s capable of sets up the stakes for the next arch nicely in my opinion. We not only know what he’s capable of but that he’s willing to do it without a second thought. And Trunks still got the last blow that actually had any emotional meaning to Zamasu because after that he’s too mentally cracked to even be aware that Zeno is erasing him. But like you said, I get why others felt like it was just a repeat of Resurrection F’s not letting Vegeta have the win.
@@HeartlandHunny but isn't zamasu shown too much strong here? It's like ending of super arc to me the final arc where it looks like Dragonball super final boss.
I could never get behind the dislike as to devalue Trunks going to a new timeline that is his with the apocalypse prevented as Whis made a new one for him. The complaint that they rely on the gods is an exaggeration as the gods are not doing their jobs and it causes this which is part of the motivation for the tournament of power. I didn't like the ending. I think I would feel less bitter about it if Trunks had stuck around in the main timeline or we got an epilogue where he meets his other version and decides what he wants to do from that point forward. My head canon is that one of the Trunks joins the time patrol.
5:05 the reason why Goku is freaking out and you dont get exactly why its because of a translation "Mistake". Here Zeno says "Ill Destroy It..." when Goku pointed out Zamas was a pain in the ass... But in Japanese this is bassically what they say "What an annoying guy.." "Right? He is really annoying maybe you should erase it!" "Yes Its annoying I should erase it... Everything..." The powers were absolutely incredible and amazing, like the energy blade, the energy scythe, the smoke clones, the blades of judgement, the absolute lightning, the smoke bird thing, holy wrath, and more. 4. Zamasu and Goku Black basically won. I really, really, really liked that because it was different from the normal, "The hero always wins," BS, because in any story or hero based entertainment, no matter how bad or powerful the enemy is the hero always wins, and when you know what is going to happen it kind of takes away from the story, and that didn't happened here, and that was unexpected, and surprising, and it was like a breath of fresh air, because again the heroes such as Goku, Vegeta, Trunks and the rest didn't win. And I know that it is horrible, but I like that in a story perspective, because it was surprising, and it felt new, and I just loved it. Not basically won. He lost.....Trunks and Mai are still alive and Zamasu was erased before his work was done. Granted, it took erasing that whole timeline to erase that Zamasu.
