I always loved the interaction between Kid Trunks and Future Trunks you can clearly see the difference that being raised by Vegeta had in him.

This was the episode when several fans, including myself, were all like "All hail Lord Beerus." For real, that scene was so epic that I have rewatched it more than a hundred times.
Oh fun fact: Beerus did not just kill Zamasu, he erased him from existence. The poor bastard won't even have the pleasure of going to the afterlife. Oh, and another fun fact. Hakai can be instant if Beerus so desires, but he made sure that Zamasu was slowly erased so that he would spend his last moments in utter pain and terror.
Hakai or 破壊 is Japanese for Destruction. Beerus uses his Godly Energy to destroy every atom of the person or thing he’s using it on. It’s so powerful, not even their soul remains. In physics, the law of conservation of energy states “matter cannot be created or destroyed”, well Beerus straight up ignores this rule.
And they made their own rules too. When teaching Vegeta about Hakai, he says that when matter is destroyed, it releases heaps of energy.

That Hakai moment was so cold. Really reminded you how dangerous Beerus is
it’s crazy to see the affect vegeta has on trunks, kid trunks is strong willed and isn’t easily deterred while future trunks never knew his dad and was only around bulma and is very quick to let what happens control him rather than thinking about the next encounter
I mean you can't really say that since we haven't seen Kid Trunks go through anything even remotely close to what Future Trunks has gone through. It's a lot easier for kid Trunks to talk down to future Trunks like that but lets see how he acts when he loses everyone around him and is completely helpless to do anything about it. He could take it a lot worse than future Trunks as far as we know

My favorite part about Beerus destroying Zamasu is how Zamasu just goes through the stages of grief in the space of a single second.
He just accepted his fate, being destroyed by Beerus... because there was nothing he could've done.

It’s a nice detail to note that the tea tasted good meaning that zamasu saw no wrong in his actions and was still considered “pure of heart”
8:05 Fun fact: When Beerus uses Hakai on Zamasu it was call called "Destruct" in the manga and also in the manga, Zamasu was turned to dust while in the anime he simply vanished

In the original japanese version beerus sounded more intimidating by saying "don't get too cocky" reminding everyone of his status

The scene between the two trunks is more than people think, Present trunks is acting so much like Vegeta because he was there for him in this timeline. He raised him to be a Saiyan warrior. Hence present trunks saying to future trunks "you call yourself a saiyan?" Incredible.

Hakai is basically a divine ki unique to destroyer gods. it''ll play a bigger role later, but think back to Battle of Gods when goku had to face giant purple energy blasts. any of those could have done to earth or goku the same thing that just happened to Zamasu. Kind of like the truth seeking orbs but im not the most familiar with naruto so correct me if wrong. But instead of an object or weapon i think, it's just an energy they can summon as a Destoyer

It is about mid forth dimensional in scope in that it can even erase gag manga characters without issue. The only beings that can resist it are those that are immortal, those who are stronger than the user of the technique and those who are currently wearing a time ring due to those nullifying grandfather paradoxs. Its ok to say that because this episode is literally the part of the manga where they explained the limitations of the technique.

I'm honestly wondering if the Pilaf gang is trying to hook Mai up with Trunks because Trunks' parents are freaking loaded.
From what I recall, Future Trunks thanks Present Mai for Future Mai’s actions, which let him time travel at the beginning of the arc. And because the Pilaf Gang are naive fools when it comes to romance, they see this as almost a love declaration, so they want to help Present Mai seal the deal.
Kinda funny when Present Trunks is going for Present Mai, who’s going for Future Trunks, who already has Future Mai.
I’d say the main difference between kid Trunks and future Trunks is that kid Trunks was raised by Vegeta
